Although I must say, I find it rather odd that you of all people would quit -even partially- considering what Fuwa has done for you. Recall that this place use to have torrents, and you were the loudest voice demanding their removal. Recall that you've said things other people would be banned for that were overlooked. Not saying you never got banned, but some would say the mods have been relatively lenient. I've seen many people come and go and haven't raised an eyebrow, but you honestly seem to me the least justified to do so. All I can think of is us Key fans calling BS on your reviews, but I don't think that's enough to make you dis mad, especially considering how old your LB review is. I assume there's something behind the scenes going on that's bothering you, possibly even unrelated to fuwa in praticular, maybe a twitter VN squabble? 
But meh, either way it doesn't really matter. Taking a break from a partner is a key (kek) part of good relationships, so by all means take a break. But I'll miss having one of the few rich salt mines Fuwa possessed

Just read the last chapter.
Fuck this series, fuck this author and fuck anyone that thinks this ending is great and totally not a cheap cop out written because the author doesn't know how to actually continue something after a confession.
Even if in the next chapter (which is the last one, in case you didn't know) they get married and kiss, I will still rate this series 1/10, because it managed to single handedly self destruct in these past few chapters and completely ruin any shred of hope I could have possibly had for it.
Nisekoi should be considered a tragedy, because every single girl besides from Chitoge got so horribly mistreated. Marika is now alone in a hospital, Tsugumi is stuck following Chitoge, Onodera is stuck in school looking at the man who rejected her everyday, and Chitoge, after finally getting what she wanted, suddenly decides NOW is a great time to just leave for who knows how long, because that TOTALLY makes sense!
Even if you absolutely love Chitoge and think she is the best character ever created, you have to admit this ending completely goes against her character and makes absolutely no sense. Why in the world does Chitoge suddenly want to leave everything she always wanted to have? Why can't she be happy with Raku, even if only until she graduates or something like that? Why does she suddenly want to go on this journey and freaking quit high school for it (good luck getting a job with that)? It's absolutely ridiculous to think this does any justice to her character.
These are the kind of endings I avoid like the plague, because they completely undermine everything that came before them. They're basically the laziest form of writing. Why bother writing and thinking about what came after the confession when you can just say the characters had to leave and then not worry about it? Genius.
Once again, fuck you Nisekoi and fuck you Komi.

no way i'm watching black cat again.  A lot of it i just didn't care for.  The plot felt like a convoluted mish mash of things the mangaka probably thought was cool,like nanomachines and fictitious metals and a shadow organization that seeks world peace through murder, and an eye patch limiter for superpowers.  It was pretentious as all hell for how unoriginal it was.  It reminds me of every shitty fan fiction derived from something like dragonball z or metal gear solid where the protagonist is some tortured, cool badass.  Yes, let's keep using that trope because it definitely hasn't run it's course 

I can not count the nights I was engrossed in reading manga until 7 or 8 AM because I just had to know what happened next.
It seems to me that you're just not much of a reader because most people who read books will pretty much say the same thing I just said, it's easy to engross yourself im reading manga if you just take the time to appreciate the detail that went into it and let your imagination do the rest of the work. It's a wonderful feeling.
If you just want something that doesn't require as much of your attention then anime is an easier medium to get into though. Sound, movement and voices can enhance an experience just as much as it can downgrade it.

If the studio is meant to be Gonzo, can we please watch the show VanDread, I want to be forced to laugh at how silly it is again.  I'm fairly certain this is the show that screamed something along the lines of "The shield cant withstand the pressure! Its at 1.89 million hexapascals!"
 
Nosebleed pretty much mimics my stance on anime vs manga, which can be pretty much summed up as "Anime shows, manga tells." and therefore manga is far better at expressing the thoughts of characters in general than anime which is better at showcasing how the character acts.  If you want to feel and relate to a series, manga is by far the superior choice, where if you want to see how they act and their emotions (assuming you have a good studio on this one) anime is the superior format.  Manga is really just a midpoint between books and animation in terms of details and thoughts, and actions, respectively.

For me it's all about the level of detail.
A lot of action anime are generally poorly choreographed and manga leaves a lot of it to your imagination and focuses on the highlights so you get only the cool shots whereas anime sometimes needlessly drags things out.
I love reading manga much more than i like watching anime, it's just such a more rich medium versus the over saturated anime market.
Of course anime has its own merits, but generally speaking I rarely capture the same feelings from an anime as i do from the manga counterpart, just because the latter allows me to leave a lot of things up to imagination whereas anime is the way it is and I either end up liking how they did it or I don't, there's no room for me to picture something else, it's all on screen, all the voices and all the movement.
But everything can be exciting in both mediums if you know how to execute it.
