Wether you consider a VN a game or not doesn't change its content/enjoyability.
I never understood this war.
 
Also I don't think VNs being called games is such an unpopular opinion. I hear lots of people (including myself) saying "I'm playing *insert VN here*"
 
Does it really make any difference?
 
Wether they're a game or not, the point is I still will fap to them ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ

And follow up with a negative review on Amazon. 

I can't relate to these stories, because I'm in possession of a lock and a key, which is suitable to close said lock until it is unlocked again. Rocket science, I know, but here we go.

...I at least know the sacred bond, but eh.

It's about roadtrips and music.
Three girls & the protagonist (in drag) form a girlband and tour across japan during their summer break. Likeable characters, great soundtrack and overall very immersive. It's one of my favorite VNs, if that's worth anything.

I personally don't care that much about toggles, but that's just me.  Usually, if the h-scene in the VN I'm reading is utter crap (seems to be happening more and more often, which may just be my tastes in VNs maturing), I'll just skip it, but I get that a decent chunk of people don't want to see it at all.  That's their right, and if an option, like a toggle, is built in that allows them to get their wish without requiring a separate release or pissing off the people that do want h-scenes by completely removing them, I don't see any reason to argue about it.  It's not like someone can claim that seeing the toggle itself ruined their experience, right?  Seems like a win-win to me.

Would skip if option was available, but have never done it so far as I am afraid to miss something important plotwise( Never happened yet though ). 
 
I remember sitting in class reading Katawa Shoujo. I had disabled the H-scenes(for obvious reasons). When the H-scene was over, Emi's sprite was shown naked. In panic I shut the computer's screen making a large sound, and everyone turned towards me  . In short never trust disable H-content buttons. They are evil  . Could be a bug though as I disabled them right before the H-scene.
 
I also recommended some visual novels to a friend, and he said "My family think I am wierd enough watching anime, what would they think if they found out I read japanese 2D porn. I won't try it out. I'm sorry."
