Well I feel that I should have hit the 1000 mark on the 16th so that my second anniversary of joining Fuwa would have coincided.
Though having taken 2 years to cross the 1000th post mark is pretty slow.
The time I spent in browsing the net per day is generally 1-2 hours which is isn't too long. I normally spend around an hour here on Fuwa daily. That combined with me being a somewhat of a lurker and really lazy accounts for my comparatively meager post count.
I realize that not many people know much about me and even I haven't really participated in a lot of the threads so it's kinda understandable. 
For me Fuwa is the first forum where I actually lasted more than a month and before I had never really been using forums at all. Staying in Fuwa was certainly a great experience for me with it's spectacular community. 
Since I wanted to keep it short and sweet this is all I'll say.
I truly thank every member of Fuwanovel for making it such a great place.

It was amazing.                     
I really enjoyed the comedy and the characters. The story itself was well structured and the execution was done nicely too. I actually liked the ost quite a bit and all the tracks were well used.
I do one question regarding Claire though:

Which is ridiculous, because this game is actually quite great. The VN community is so utterly enamored with the elite set of action chuuni titles that get hyped to hell and back that any title in the same genre that isn't part of that group just gets ignored completely, especially if it's all-ages. The age rating is completely irrelevant to this title, though. It doesn't feel like it lacks maturity in any way, nor does it feel like it ever glosses over any important events. Everything just works, nothing is lacking. 
Oh well, this is how the VN fanbase has always been. I've been expecting this the whole time, while really hoping I was wrong.

Thank you for noticing, but there's also one other theme available right now through the theme picker (or this link: http://beta.fuwanovel.net/?theme=summer-sky). Having the Oldschool Cool theme as the default was intentional in order not to alieante users too much, but the new theme system allows to change the site up completely, and drastically, so please look forward to it.
It's currently undergoing another rewrite (feature-par right now, so I'm finally adding new stuff), but the "Games" section will be disabled until we've figured out the direction we're going in with the VN information we want to display.
For that reason I need one, or multiple banners, like these old ones focusing on "featured" releases:

Ideally we'd have multiple of them, and I'd really like to have multiple just to point to the different parts of the site: Blog, Forums, Reviews(, optional: TL Moon) in a flashy manner. The required dimensions for this display are 1024px by 354px, but I won't limit your creativity here, so please go crazy if you want to make them full-screen width. Keeping the aspect ratio would be ideal, though.
So please, get those creative juices going, so we can push for a final, first release of the new site, so we can push the direction of the site for the immediate, and obviously long-term, future!

Bruhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh  Just finished Chapter 1, the ending was hype 
I saw some people dis Okarin but I love him, and literally every other character that may or may not matter. Kurisu-tina, Ruka, Mayushii, Daru, Ferin, Moeka, love them. The banter between characters is hilarious, the art design is AMAZING, I love the VA's, and the story is really getting me pumped up. Crazy shit going down, super duper excited to see what is to come 

I'm surprised the inclusion or exclusion of romance is such an important factor for people.

Ok, I'm back in the land of the living after a very late night. So a few comments:
Seriously, there were a lot of people chuckling at me about the Maitetsu question. I saw the lolis and kind of knew what I was signing up for, but I wasn't quite aware of the extent of the H content and quite how young the characters looked. Anyway, I actually just tweeted at dovac about that question and got an interesting response: "We had internal discussions about this, but just can't talk about it at this time." This is very much in line with how I interpret their response last night: it wasn't a denial, or even a hinted denial, of any kind of 18+ release. It was an extremely neutral question dodge. I really don't know what to expect - if it were already decided to be something as simple as "there will be no H content", I don't think they would be responding the way they are. My guess is that it's still an in-progress discussion, both with the developer and internally, trying to figure out what kind of balance they should tread to maintain their reputation with all camps and to make the release have the maximum positive impact. None of us is in a position to predict the future here - let's wait and see what happens. Regardless, I actually don't care - I almost certainly will play Maitetsu, because the idea is cute, the art looks freaking gorgeous, and I have no problem with the occasional moege (I seriously love IMHHW, censorship, bad translation, and all). And when I do play Maitetsu, you can bet I'm going to play that censored Steam release. I don't know why people are talking about Kickstarters WRT the SP announcements. They said absolutely nothing about it at SakuraCon, and I don't think they said anything about Kickstarter at Anime Boston either. Each time they announce something is going through Kickstarter, it's been announced as having a Kickstarter from the beginning, right? I think there's clearly not going to be one for any of this stuff. Will SP get a little less incomprehensible hate about Kickstarter after this? Probably not. I am pretty hyped about Ley Line. It's good to see SP had another solid announcement up their sleeve for Boston and didn't dump everything at SakuraCon. I'm actually really happy about the recent pattern of fan translation projects turning into officially-licensed releases. Fan translators deserve compensation for their work, and as a significant and growing group of fans, we deserve to be taken seriously by the original developers and publishers. This new trend, and the very clear rapid growth of the US VN-reading market over the last couple years, are very positive signs. MangaGamer, I am disappoint. But you're releasing Tokyo Babel in the next week, so you know what, actually we're totally square. I have a fair bit of faith in their recent product decisions, so I'm sure they'll come back swinging next time.
