Diamon made a huge guide on how to create a visual novel, and then Helvetica Standard threw the ball right back into the court by making a huge guide on how to run Ren'py. Being the spokespeople for 2 visual novel releases coming soon, I want to thank these guys for doing what the do for the community.
 
We talk a lot about visual novel fan translation, but sometimes forget that Katawa Shoujo was what started it for about 95% of us. Thanks gentlemen, and keep up the good work on your games.

I wasn't even anyone important (as I obviously am now, of course) back then and I remember it. The discussion over the colour was one of the few threads I read fully, and one of the best displays of mod professionalism.

This estimate is, at best, silly. Even in the strange circumstance where Ouraibaa doesn't change a single thing I wrote, reading with a critical eye takes significantly longer than reading for fun. If you think you can do the job that fast, I would not want you to do it.

Making all the characters sound weird in sex scenes would be bad and unprofessional. The real problem is, the original sex scenes in Majikoi are frequently bad, disgusting, stupidly long, and/or filled with repetitive onomatopoeia. Though there are a few diamonds in the rough...

Admittedly, and in my defence, I've never used an avatar that wasn't Edgeworth for more than a day.
 
Though I understand that even if the character is the same, the avatar still changes, indeed.

One anime I dropped, or stalled I guess, for a while was Sakura Trick.  Not cause I have a problem with yuri, but because SO MUCH DAMN KISSING .  Honestly, I muted an entire episode and just read the subtitles just so I didn't have to hear the kissing.  I eventually got around to finishing it, but that was a chore.
