Game Title: Girls' Frontline - Tomorrow, With You
Synopsis: It's 207X and WW3 never happened. Your name is Shiki Kan, a young high school boy who's been recruited to join an academy made for all the androids that were no longer needed for the war.  There's one thing though... it's an all-girls school.. and they're pretty cute...
Story Concept: In contrast to the original mobile game's dark and serious nature, this visual novel aims to provide a light-hearted story with a few serious undertones. Girls' Frontline: Tomorrow, With You is a fan-made visual novel based on the Girls' Frontline mobile game universe and characters.  This is a longer 7-day demo, a major update from our first version back in 2020.

Hey there,

I discovered the world  of VNs about 2 years ago with Making Lovers, that I really enjoyed.
Since then I've read quite a few more (not that many, but around 20 of them), enjoyed most of them, dropped a few others.
I first discovered Funanowel for the route guides. Because contrary to Making Lovers which was really simple to understand, I have happened upon a few odd endings in other games, and restarting the game didn't feel satisfactory when there weren't a "skip to next choice" button.
 
And just today I wanted to install Pure X Connect, but despite having installation instructions in English, the game itself was in Japanese. And while I've been discovering the language, I'm nowhere near enough of speaking it, and even less reading it, that I could even try to read it without translation. So I finally, through my search engine, found that people here were working on translations, and I just wanted to say "hi" and tell them that if they find the motivation and dedication to complete their work, I'd be quite grateful.

Aaaand, that's it !

While I understand why the protection is needed, admittedly it's quite annoying to wait for Cloudflare page to finally showing the forum page, especially on android where I did open the page for the whole night and turned out it didn't get the result. As for how I cope with this, I did browse the forum using Mozilla browser which turned out is quite faster when it come to loading Cloudflare, and after I installed Mozilla in android I finally manage to browse the forum in my handphone. Anyway thanks for finally loosening the protection there.

Lol, yeah, that's also classic MangaGamer. Somehow they have all the right ideas and simultaneously absolutely suck at marketing.
Edit: Made some posts about it on Reddit, both on VN and vtube boards. I wonder what people make of it. Also, I think I just surpassed the advertisement effort MG itself put into this.

Maybe this won't catch on, but I felt we could use this kind of space to just gossip/shitpost about v-tubing stuff without creating surplus threads. While I'm still being helplessly stuck in the rabbit hole, there's always interesting stuff coming to my attention – a scene this young is always in a flux and spawning all kinds of weird crap.
Recently, I've noticed the EN vtuber bubble started to burst big time. A lot of small names I remembered from the time I started following this stuff are either retired or on hiatus with no clear indication when they might come back. I see a few patterns here. A lot of creators that were super-serious about this and hoped for quick growth just never got it and moved on. Fuzuki Miki, a bilinguar JP vtuber who was good friend with a vtuber I'm most closely following nowadays, put tons of quality content for more than a year... But got nowhere with it. It was crazy she hold out for this long, barely reaching 20k subs with massive effort. Most in her position give up much sooner and are probably right to do so.
Second category is people that wanted to get in, had the potential to do well, but simply underestimated the time & energy required to stay active. Nana is a prime example here, an artist that already had a fanbase, good relationship with the EN vtube community and enough charisma to pull this off... Just too much work to stream on any kind of reasonable schedule.
And then, those that succeeded... Are either those that immediately took off, major agency vtubers and those that never wanted to go beyond hobby and kept their activity to scale. Nijisanji entered the EN market with the same tactic as always, introducing new creators very quickly. and I imagine they'll keep flooding the market further. This will make particularily the YouTube space really crowded and push a lot more people out in the end.
But on the other hand, the SIMP sometimes do feel limitless... Like, apparently, the clipper SodaFunk, likely the biggest one covering Hololive EN, decided to cash out on his popularity by... Hiring a JP voice actress and pretending to be a girl. And the opening memberships and having the girl do a freetalk stream (which peaked at 16,5k viewers, above what most Hololive members get). I actually got caught up in the meme, but other clippers ratted him out. I'm still kind of on the line whether I'm more appalled by the scam or deeply amused by the absurdity and how meta the whole intrigue became. I guess I don't even mind, if he gives the girl at least similar rates as Cover does? xD

Hey everybody! How is it going? I'm a solo game developer from a small country called Uruguay, and for a few months I've been working on a VN. This past week I was honoured, alongside 11 other studios, to represent our country in the GDC 2021 with my project.
During this week my game store page on Steam was approved and it's now online! 
I'm super excited because this is going to be my first commercial game!!
Jake’s Paralysis is a dating sim visual novel with animated backgrounds and Live2D characters with multiple choices to determine different endings..
The theme is fantasy, of the Bishōjo genre, where the story focuses on the romance between a boy and a girl in the 90s and an unknown event that makes the main character teleport back and forth onto a universe set in the 20s. 
Could you please help me out and check the store page and maybe give me some feedback on how it's looking? Thank you all I really appreciate it!

After some time tampering with SLG System engine, I did create a tool to work with it's scripts. And not just simple string editor, no.
SLGScriptTool is dual languaged GUI tool for (de)compiling and (de/en)crypting (with key finding) scripts of SLG System engine. Supports all known versions of SLG System: 0, 1, 2, 3 (3.0, 3.1), 4 (4.0, 4.1), but may lack of support of some it's variations. With this tool you can: decompile and compile script of SLG System, (en/de)crypt script of any game on SLG System, find key of any game on SLG System via cryptoattack.

Why SLG System is so noteworthy? Legendary series Sengoku Hime and Sangoku Hime (PC version) does use this engine (well, Sengoku Hime 7 and probably Sangoku Hime 5 does use Unity, but pay it no mind).
Now with SLGSystemDataTool and some HEX-editing of supplement data files it is possible to translate whose game series.

Actually we're working in two related projects. The first one is a software to create visual novels and publish it as iOS apps. It's called Boken Engine and is available here. I'm sure you've all seen but everyone was super upset with Sony for announcing the shut down the PS3, Vita, and PSP stores which was gonna happen in July and August I think. Well, they just backtracked on that and have announced that they will keep the PS3 and Vita stores open "for the foreseeable" future. The PSP store will still be closing as scheduled but to me that's less impactful than either of the other two.
