Not my favourite, but still really like it, Ruriko in Princess Evangile. Yes she has a route in W happiness, but she deserved to have one in the main VN. Having her be treated like a side heroine is just sad.

Have made new safety copies of my lists now just in case something goes wrong Already had some from a few months ago, but would be a pain in the ass updating everything on my lists again.

At the start I kind of picked a bit random titles, but now I pretty much only go for titles that gets a physical release unless it is something I really really want. Also I know pretty much everything that has been officially released in english as well as roughly the score it has on vndb so I don't really have to look around at old things but can rather just focus on new releases as all the old ones I want are on my wishlist on vndb. As for japanese ones, well I probably won't pick up that many next time I go there but last time I just looked through CG galleries to find things that I thought looked good and seemed to have the type of content I wanted then checked if it was well recieved on vndb.

Pretty sure they got into talks with MG though, didn't MG respond to their tweet where they said that english companies were all booked and then they went on to discuss in private afterwards?

Considering how many people argue VN with loli sex scenes should be banned I would say that yes parts of it is considered morally questionable in the west.

While I am pretty happy with my list I still wonder if there is anything I could do to make it a better tool for people to find VNs they are interested in, if anyone has any ideas that they think would improve the list please say so.

Because I like otaku medium like manga and anime and this is just another medium within that interest and I feel like it is valuable to consume all of them because there are worthwhile things to experience in each. Also I think there are things VNs are capable of doing better than other mediums in general like animestyle porn, mystery or harem and as such I generally enjoy these things more in VNs than I would have in other mediums.

It ended up only three hundred and fifty bucks over, but at a point it was I think it was over a thousand bucks over and I don't think they can lower it bellow the pledge limit once it has gone to the point of being funded.

Unless anyone feels like this blog is important I am most likely going to stop it after this month. They got a lot of pledge money the last few minutes though I would assume that was from desperate fans increasing their pledges to get it funded rather than anyone that noticed the MG tweet.

I love Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid as well, just for some reason I felt like the other ones were more comedy focused and as such I just mentioned those. That does not mean I think it lacks in terms of comedy though.

Sol Press managed to get Irotoridori no Sekai funded so congratulation for all that hoped for the kickstarter to succeed (I already have the japanese physical editions, but I am glad for those who wanted an english release). For those who for some reason didn't notice the kickstarter and want the physical edition there will probably be a backerkit up soon and I would assume that it is somewhat likely that they plan to sell some physical copies through Hyourin. The voting for the wallscroll bundled with Magical Marriage Lunatics (hardcopy) has now ended and they decided that instead of only having one winner the two wallscrolls with most votes will be made. This includes the wallscroll for Luci and for Yuna. They are also available through Luci bundle and Yuna bundle. Some people have now gotten their physicals for Volume 1 and 2 of Grisaia Phantom trigger. Really nice to see that Frontwing are finally able to deliver on physicals for their kickstarters, even though it it quite late and seem to get going rather slowly.

Looking at current pledges I think it seems fairly likely that this is actually going to make it.

Well the kickstarter being successful only securing one VN of a trilogy probably is somewhat of a factor. My guess is that a fair amount of people gets turned off from backing knowing that they may only end up getting an incomplete story. Combining this with poor advertisement, people being sceptical to VN kickstarters (often delayed, physicals often delayed by years), VN kickstarter fatigue and a kickstarter starting just a bit over a month after Chrismas it does not really seem odd that it is struggling and likely to not hit its goal. Also I think we should add the increased competition into the mix. There are quite a lot of high quality releases already out there for people to read and many most likely have a large backlog and would rather wait for a sale, also there are a bunch of new VNs coming out by companies like Mangagamer, Jast, Sekai project, Frontwing, Nekonyan and Solpress Btw speaking of kickstarters what happened to the Umineko one?

Just learn how to use tags to search for things on vndb if you want specific VNs and just stop with these threads.

Steam is only required for Grisaia no Senritsu, Grisaia no Yuukan and Grisaia no Zankou, which are just given as codes.

Personally I found it to be awesome. In my opinion the story is great and it does a really good job at building it up through the different routes. While the H-scenes are somewhat gross there are only a few times it goes really far, like with the devil route (which is an optional route that isn't really important to the story and that is kind of hard to get by accident). Anyways I would just look forward to the twists and turns in the story as you try to piece it together. Also this is a VN that I really recommend unlocking all or at least almost all CGs, if not you might miss the true ending.

Somewhat difficult mainly because Nisekoi Yomeiri which was my first japanese VN as well as my first VN have this small gameplay element where you need to a few out of like 5 or 6 hiragana to make a word as an answer to something in the VN, didn't happen often but did make it harder. 4. Don't use text hooker.

Usually 1 or 2, sometimes 3. One or two in english if two then one is a nukige while the other is not and then one in japanese. Btw atm only reading 1, that being Imouto Paradise 2. Currently taking a break from VNs in japanese since I am reading through assasination classroom in japanese and don't feel like reading too much in japanese at the same time.

A small update that kind of annoys me. Mangagamer has just recently released the Grisaia series on their store and all of them are without mosaic. The complete box has mosaics which was expected, though that was because at the time they made it there was no version without the mosaic. I kind of feel cheated learning about a digital release that in my eyes is superior to the release I got in the really expensive complete box. I hope we will get a free patch because it would be really messed up if I have to buy it again if I want to not have mosaics especially considering how expensive the complete box was. Well now Mangagamer just confirmed that their version have mosaics as well and that they had not been informed by this, still find it odd that they had non mosaic sample pictures.
