Physical visual novel news for March 2019

Sol Press managed to get Irotoridori no Sekai funded so congratulation for all that hoped for the kickstarter to succeed (I already have the japanese physical editions, but I am glad for those who wanted an english release). For those who for some reason didn't notice the kickstarter and want the physical edition there will probably be a backerkit up soon and I would assume that it is somewhat likely that they plan to sell some physical copies through Hyourin.   The voting for the wall

Physical visual novel news for Febuary 2019

The kickstarter for Irotoridori no Sekai now has 18 days left with 37.500/85.000, hopefully they manage to get it funded for an english release. Unfortunatly the funding needed to get the sequal and the fandisc are quite high and very unlikely to be met, though they did mention that they will look into other ways to get them funded than through this campaign if the goals aren't meet.   According to J-list my Grisaia complete box has now been shipped. There have also been a bunch of peo

Physical visual novel news for January 2019

The kickstarter for Irotoridori is planned to start Febuary 4. I think it will be interesting to see how it goes especially since the sequal and fandisc is going to be stretch goals. Personally I probably won't back it though since I already own the physical japanese version.   Frontwing has just released a new update with new plans for when things will ship. While this is generally a good thing I doubt they will manage to follow this plan due to the sheer amount of delays we have face

Physical visual novel news for December 2018

Frontwing will soon give more info about shipping of physical copies for their kickstarters. It will probably include another final date for shipment which they most likely will fail to deviler on.   Nekonyansoft has recently started talking about potentially kickstarting their physical releases. While many, myself included are a bit annoyed at VN kickstarters in general due to how FW and SP has handled things, I can see that it might be rather risky to do physical releases without one

Physical visual novel news for November 2018

Mangagamer  had a huge sale with 25% of for all physical copies. Jlist had a smaller sale with a discount of $5 if you buy for more than $40, $20 if you buy for more than $100 and $40 if you buy for more than $200. Lastly Rightstufanime had a sale on Yume Miru Kusuri and the Moeru series. Those are the black friday sales relevant for physical VNs in 2018.   With Frontwing\s last update they have said that they have shipped some packages for the Corona Blossom kickstarter and that they

Physical visual novel news for October 2018

Frontwing have just made an update on their Grisaia phantom trigger kickstarter where they said that they have started shipping and that due to the amount of items it will take about 1 month until everything is shipped out. So it seems they are finally able to deliver on their physical items after such a long time. Also their kickstarter for Island is now done and it managed to raise $69,301 with a goal of $50,000.  Loca-Love kickstarter is now also done and managed to raise $33,251 wi

Physical visual novel news for September 2018

From Frontwing there are two kickstarters for physical copies one for the physical copy of Island which has already been released digitally on steam and one for the first part of their new episodic title Loca-Love which haven't been released in Japan yet. The Island Kickstarter is already funded and to me it seems like it has some pretty decent prices for the physicals with 50US$ for the regular edition and 80US$ for the deluxe edition which is a large box with soundtrack and theme song CDs and
