Are you really planning to translate the whole game from scratch? If you ask Frank, maybe he'll share with you the missing % files. It will be shorter and more convenient that way, or worst case scenario, just the 2 routes?
Edit: If there is really something you would translate differently, you can still edit the old translation and release your patch once the full translation is done. 

Oh, welp. Sorry about that, misread that. Uhh... I got mine when I went to Japan, for pretty cheap, iirc. For example, I got Hollow Ataraxia alone for $15.
 

I have the DVD edition, and uhh, I honestly can't install it. I really recommend getting like, a console version. Like the PS2 version or the PS Vita version. The reason is also because you won't be getting any voices if you buy any of the PC versions.

That's good, it's a better alternative than releasing a cut PC version like MoeNovel did for Konosora or what NextNinja did with Chusingura46+1. Too bad that Essence+ never received a console version as Essence+ is the definitive version of Shuffle with the most routes.

You're probably the only one here who went ahead and purchased the game.

I don't care for Steam, the only time when I pay money for VNs is when:
- It's an official localization release with an english physical copy either as a reward on Kickstarter/IndieGogo or if it's a physical copy up for sale on MangaGamer or Jlist Online Stores.
- An English Fan-Translation Patch was released and I go and buy a japanese physical version of the game on amazon.co.jp/getchu.com/YJA/amiami.com to use with the patch.
The only time I use Steam is when I get a Steam key with a Kickstarter/IndieGogo campaign that I backed and in the physical reward a Steam code was included as well, so I just play the game on Steam as soon as it releases and leave my physical copy sealed when I receive it months/year(s) later.
I might make some exception if the price on Steam is really low due to a sales, but yeah you'll never see me buying something that cost 39.99 or 49.99 on Steam.
No physical, no buy.
I still haven't been able to play eden*, The House in Fata Morgana, Tokyo Babel, Gahkthun and such due to them not having gotten a physical release.
Also I expect physical editions to be DRM-free of course.

As @Palas mentioned, OELVNs are more likely to feature gameplay, and dating sims in particular are likely to have English origin.  If you're looking for characters and settings with feminist values, non-virgins, or have zero tolerance for moe, then OELVNs might also be the place to look.
If you're looking for porn with story, then OELVNs are probably NOT the place to look.  Western culture is still far behind the curve there due to a strongly-rooted preconception that porn and strong storytelling cannot coexist.
Another consideration is that the vast majority of OELVNs are essentially doujin works.  Production values are low and the creators are typically inexperienced by Japanese standards.

I maintain my statements.
Some of the VN segments (especially in Liberation day) take place in space battles with no gameplay ("outside the ship"). Additionally, there's also VN segments truly outside the ship, both with the protagonist and other characters. About a fifth or a fourth of the VN segments do not take place with the Sunrider as background.
However, and this I will admit, unlike Mass Effect, the occasions where you visit a planet are few and far between. When it's not "your ship", it's some space station or some enclosed, mechanical building.
Off the top of my mind, you visit a wasteland planet, a desert planet, and a couple of futuristic city planets.

If you bought a GTX 970, you should fill out a claim here before November 30th so you'll get a $30 settlement.  Nvidia apparently claimed that the VRAM was more efficient than it was, and as such, committed false advertising.
If you bought one, you may or may not have received an email about it already, and it should have a claim number on the upper left-hand side.  I thought it was spam at first, but then remembered that they were actually getting sued, and it was a class action suit, and it appears to be fully legit.
I personally don't really care all that much, as I plan to get a 1080 sometime in the near future, but free money is free money, and I thought I'd pass this along, in case anyone else happened to own a 970 and wanted some dough.

It would be nice if Flying Pantsu did ~Revive~ as well. They have skills, so it would be a bit sad for them to be a one-hit wonder.

That's what annoys me, it's the fact that both fan-translations and official releases ignores fandiscs, especially since in most cases fandisc are an extension of the main game and provide conlusions to the main game that the main game as a stand-alone will not provide.
At this point we should take it as miraculous providence that JAST USA released My Girlfriend is the President's Fandisc and that MangaGamer is working to release Princess Evangile's Fandisc.

I think what @Nier meant is that a game being licensed by MangaGamer doesn't immediately mean all of the company's games are legally bound to MangaGamer. Usually what happens is a company purchases the rights to a single title, which means if they want another title, they need to get the rights to it, and so on and so forth.
Of course, there's also the type of deal where a company can form a partnership with a localization company and use them exclusively, but we never know if this is the case or not, so we can't just assume every future Clock Up game is bound to MangaGamer.
The SonoHana fan TLs were taken down either because MangaGamer contacted the group or the group themselves wanted to take them down in hopes of encouraging a possible localization. But if they weren't contacted by MangaGamer, they had no legal obligation to take down the patches.

I mean, if you didn't enjoy the sexual content in Euphoria, then I'm not sure if you'll enjoy this game that's literally about keeping a girl as your sexual slave against her will and raping her all the time.
Unlike Euphoria, there really isn't a grand plot here, it's just a rape game. Albeit a high quality rape game, but still a rape game.

I'm not completely sure why you would want to read a machine translated version when an official English release of Steins;gate 0 is coming out very soon.
