Fuck this series, fuck this author and fuck anyone that thinks this ending is great and totally not a cheap cop out written because the author doesn't know how to actually continue something after a confession.
Even if in the next chapter (which is the last one, in case you didn't know) they get married and kiss, I will still rate this series 1/10, because it managed to single handedly self destruct in these past few chapters and completely ruin any shred of hope I could have possibly had for it.
Nisekoi should be considered a tragedy, because every single girl besides from Chitoge got so horribly mistreated. Marika is now alone in a hospital, Tsugumi is stuck following Chitoge, Onodera is stuck in school looking at the man who rejected her everyday, and Chitoge, after finally getting what she wanted, suddenly decides NOW is a great time to just leave for who knows how long, because that TOTALLY makes sense!
Even if you absolutely love Chitoge and think she is the best character ever created, you have to admit this ending completely goes against her character and makes absolutely no sense. Why in the world does Chitoge suddenly want to leave everything she always wanted to have? Why can't she be happy with Raku, even if only until she graduates or something like that? Why does she suddenly want to go on this journey and freaking quit high school for it (good luck getting a job with that)? It's absolutely ridiculous to think this does any justice to her character.
These are the kind of endings I avoid like the plague, because they completely undermine everything that came before them. They're basically the laziest form of writing. Why bother writing and thinking about what came after the confession when you can just say the characters had to leave and then not worry about it? Genius.
Once again, fuck you Nisekoi and fuck you Komi.

I'm assuming he went to the doctor and they told him his heart will eventually fail and if he wants to live past a certain age he'll need a heart transplant. It's not uncommon to get a diagnosis like this.
In the same way that Maeda's attitude towards it is not that uncommon of an attitude. He's not giving up, he's just saying he will continue on with life because even with his current heart he will apparently still last for a while.
Also I'm sure he'll try to put himself on a heart transplant list and the tweet was probably meant to not be a complete downer.

Granted it's from a really popular title, but still...
Also, having "otome" in the title doesn't mean it's an otome game guys, come on.

This is not to say there's no variety or that there aren't good stories, it's just that in terms of writing quality, Japanese VNs really read mostly the same, and they mostly sound like typical game dialogue, with the exceptions being those games nobody will ever translate like Albatross. They're created with the audience in mind and their goal is not to be the next Nabokov book but to attract readers that want their tropes on a silver platter.
This isn't a problem with VNs specifically either. Manga and light novels suffer from the same thing. Manga has the excuse of the limitations imposed by the format of course, but LNs don't, yet most of them really feel like they're written by people who just want an outlet to put their tropes on rather than somebody who wants to write a proper novel. 
Rule of thumb: if you want proper Japanese literature, do not look at otaku related stuff. Of course there's a few exceptions; Nisioisin, for example, is a well renowned LN writer and his writing actually stands out from the rest, hence why so many people praise Bakemonogatari. After owning one of his books myself, I finally understood the hype as well, it's like night and day compared to any other LN you might find. But in general, it's just tropes after tropes after tropes with not much effort put into the writing itself.

Well that's because the webcomic is still ongoing, so there really wasn't much they could do besides attempt to make it feel like a conclusion. If they had continued it after that point, there really wasn't any good point to end it on I feel like.
I suggest you check out the webcomic if you're that upset

The thing is most Japanese VNs are written like rpg dialogues with very simple and repetitive sentence structures. It really doesn't take that much to write your average Japanese eroge, and certainly doesn't take more than your typical native level grasp on the language. It's no surprise that most Japanese VN writers are simply freelancers hired for a specific project and not full time authors, because most of them just stick to guidelines to create some kind of story that'll touch otaku's dicks more than anything. So really, if you wanted to make a VN in Japan, you could easily do that and just hire an artist to do the CGs for you, that's how most of them do it. Of course that doesn't mean your story will sell a lot, but the point is that you really don't need to be an experienced writer to make your run of the mill Japanese VN, because most of them read the exact same.

Yeah fam, let's raise our pitchforks and storm the congress of every nation with plaques that have Mare's face on it. I'm sure they'll understand our burning passion and immediately grant us loli games.
