I seconded Kikokugai here, but if you want more there's Hanachirasu which is from the same company as Kikokugai. For one more recommendation, I think Baldr Force could be qualified there seeing that apparently the protagonist did had some sort of revenge .

Have you read Kikokugai: The Cyber Slayer yet?  There's no school, everyone is an adult, and it's written by the same guy that wrote Saya no Uta, Gen Urobuchi.  It's also quite dark, and has an interesting setting, IMO.  Reminds me quite a bit of Blade Runner.

Kasumi's route is pretty much universally agreed to be the worst part of Dies irae. I wouldn't drop the whole VN at this point unless its general tone doesn't appeal to you. I've only read Kasumi's and and Kei's routes so far, but the latter was already a significant improvement in that it had a much stronger finale (except for the ending).

    Long time no see!
Having finished all of Kasumi's route and some of Kei's route of Dies Irae, I think I might drop it. It's certainly not a bad VN all in all, I think. The characters, story, and music are all pretty good... but I also don't necessarily feel that they're any more than that, and that's certainly not enough to drag me through another 20-30 hours of this. The thing is, I wasn't really invested in anything by the end of Kasumi's route, and especially given the length, that isn't a good thing. I'm honestly sort of bored with the VN and looking back on everything, it's failed to elicit even the slightest emotional response from me... Again, it is a solidly produced VN, and I don't even necessarily feel like it's particularly poorly done story, but it feels very style over substance... I'm sorry this is such a rambling mess, it's very late where I am.  But if anyone thinks that I should keep going with it, I'd be happy to listen. And likewise, if anyone thinks that dropping it is the right choice, do say so, because I'm sort of on the fence right now.
I also might pick up Chrono Clock. The girls look cute and I've heard good things, so I might as well give it a shot. It's been a long time since I've played a moege because I dislike 90 percent of them, but there's always a chance that it's part of the 10 percent, right?

    Hello Lady! Translation Project Recruitment
    VNDB

Hello everyone, I am coming forth with a translation project that I’d love to make a reality.
I’ve been a fan of Akatsuki Works for a very long time, love almost all of their titles and I’ve been waiting for three years now for someone to pick up Hello Lady! in order to translate it.
However, no one picked it up and I thought it was about time for me to try my luck with it.
So here I am, I’ve been preparing a lot of things since last week and I think I’m about ready to make my announcement.
Because yeah, for now I’m all alone and if I’m making this post it’s mostly to see if there is anyone interested in helping me / seeing a Hello Lady! translation.
If you’re looking for more information about the game, just browse the VNDB page: https://vndb.org/v13631

    Current state
I’d like to start by saying this, but unfortunately, I’m no translator and thus no progress on the translation have been made so far, however:
I’ve spent the last week trying to extract the scripts and other files from the game, I’ve now figured how this all works and am able to extract everything without issue from the game. Despite a lot of trouble, I am now able to repack all kind of data inside the game (see the pictures at the end of this section) and there seems to be no issue with using English inside the game. I wrote a custom formatter to format the scripts into an easily readable format and scrapped everything useless from them, the scripts are now uploaded to my google drive as worksheets so
they can be really easily edited and are stored in the cloud (I’m going to keep backups often though, just in case) So basically, I’ve done everything I could possibly do by myself. As I am not a native English speaker nor a Japanese speaker, I’d like to avoid doing any linguistic work (except proofreading for spelling mistakes and such).
That being said, I’m not going to be completely useless during the whole project either, I can do a lot of small things on the side. As I said I can do some proofreading but I also have some skills in editing,
not to the point of uncensoring of course, but I could edit the menus without too much trouble.

Some images of the game with English text inserted:

Here’s an approximation of the sentence count for each part of the game:
    Common
    Pershow (?)
    Tamao
    Sorako
    Eru
    Saku
    5103
    194
    4040
    3906
    4563
    6358
Not sure what Pershow is to be honest, anyway it’s very short.

    Recruitment
As previously said, I would need to assemble a team in order to make this project a reality.
If you want to volunteer, first thank you a lot, but then please contact me by private message here on Fuwanovel and not by responding to this thread.
For now I am only looking for a translator (since nothing will be done without it) but I will open new positions as soon as a translator is found (if it ever happens ).
    Translators / Translation checkers
I don’t really care about previous experience, what I’m looking for is someone serious about this (that can stay around for more than two weeks and who knows what they’re doing)
and that have at least a few hours every week to give to the project, I don’t want this to drag on for years and I’d like to submit weekly updates as often as possible.

That's all for the recruitment as of now.

    Final word
Thanks to everyone who read up to this point, I hope that I’ll be able to found at least one translator because I’d really love to see this game translated.
I’m going to check this thread and my Fuwanovel profile regularly from now on in hope to find a translator and I’ll update with new positions (Editing / QC) as soon as something happen, but please do not get your hopes up for now.

I'd love to see more art books go in-depth about character costumes. I want head-to-toe shots, plus close-ups of important details, for every costume. Basically, give me the originally character design sheets.

Magical Marriage Lunatics   Decent fantasy charage, but no better than decent.  Typical of Moonstone.
The Most Forbidden Love in the World  While this game counts as a classic, I can guarantee it is going to cause trouble, considering that it openly states in-game that Mitoko is underage.
Nanairo Reincarnation A kamige and a great choice in general... though I'm curious how they plan to deal with the plays on kanji and the uniquely Japanese concepts.
Senren * Banka  One of the better games from YuzuSoft...

Dracu-riot... do I need to say anything more at this point?  I posted about it when it first came out, but I don't have the energy to dig that post out of the graveyard right now, lol.

I'm surprised MangaGamer went for MML over Sakura no Mori. DameKoi is just an awesome license. I saw Evenicle coming. Not an Alicesoft fan, but this might be the one game of theirs I'd play. KoroPokkur looks really cute, and it's supposed to be a nakige. I love nakige. Space Live is just "Ugh!"

Reading Ef, I'm, basing on the youtube playthrough playlist, around 17parts from 32, from First Tale.

And while I really dislike both heroines, annoying, clingy, violent lifedestroyers, I like this tittle. Romance is really subtly written. Well, it's actually "written" and not like in most of the VNs "protag suddenly realizes he's in love". Of course, abrupt h scenes and unfunny humour dimnish the overall enjoyement, but it's still a nice read.

I finished reading Higurashi When They Cry, all the 8 chapters of it. It was an epic experience, and I did kind of wish for the final chapter to be longer~
I soon heard that Umineko was written by the same author. Is it worth reading, and is it close as good as Higurashi?

Please buy your visual novels. If you don't want to pay a lot (and who does?), buy them during sales. More piracy means less titles licensed.

Jesus Christ, I'm sorry. While reading Euphoria I remember thinking that I would rather chuck my laptop into a bathtub than have a parent find that game. I guess for future reference, if you can change your setup so that the screen is facing away from the door, I would highly recommend it. And I'm sure that even if you don't forget about this incident, I'm sure it'll stop bothering you eventually.

I've basically resolved not to read any VNs until I live by myself. I've had a roommate for the last two years of college and I share a room with my brother during the summer. The risk of people walking in on me during a sex scene is just too great. I scored a single person dorm for next year though so I should be able to read some more in a few months.

I finally finished all of Chrono Clock. I'd finished all the actual story stuff quite a while back, but after that I still had five H scenes left (one Makoto, two for each of the last two routes), which I'd been putting off because, well, I just don't typically care for marathoning H scenes. But I got the last remaining three finished today and was actually somehow delighted to see that doing so unlocked the ability to select the title screen splash image for myself, even though I'm pretty unlikely to ever open the game again, simply because I thought the second splash screen that unlocked after finishing the first four routes was actually super lame boring compared to the original splash screen. Of course, since I was suddenly presented with even more choices than I expected, I promptly switched to the one with just Misaki on it, because she's best girl.
After spending some time away from the actual game, I think this is probably the second-best moege I've read, behind KonoSora (ignoring the MoeNovel translation issues and just assessing the game on other elements...). Chrono Clock has hardly got any plot (which is what puts KonoSora firmly above it), but it's a masterpiece when it comes to characters, and as I realized when I started playing this game, that really can be good enough to make a VN a delight to play.

The first choice in game is only there for you to choose a route.
Pick the gold or the silver egg. (It has been a little bit since I played it, so I don't recall which one is which, but pick an egg and it will hatch right away, and you'll see.)
After that, most of the game is just raising the girls. So, managing their stats. Just pick the different options as you raise them, and the days will count down, and you'll see different scenes based on their affection etc.
There isn't really a clear cut guide for it, I think. (The choices you see during normal raising scenes have no effect on the story outcome, I think. Those are just there for fun flavor. What matters is the stats and affection meter.)

Just looking in the usual places, there doesn't seem to be one.  However, I doubt that they bothered with anything complex...
Edit: Vanadis generally isn't the type of company to put a lot of choices in its games... the only one that sort of overloaded on that was the school games (because of the number of heroines and endings, probably). I'd suggest just doing it systematically... saving at the first choice and branching out from there.
