As said by Ulysses. Problem is that the original psb files are compiled emote files which lost all meta data. So importing in emote engine iz out of question. The only way is to directly editing the json fails which is hard to understand without an editor. After the final patch I will try to fix the "worst" scenes. For now bear with me ;).

I'll have no bodily fluids left by then, but that's okay.

08/05 - Paulette's new hscene released! (Hint: This is the new release which includes HSCENE 03. Skipped Hscene 02 because there isn't any mosaic! Hence the name v0.3 - which represent the hscene completed :) )

Just extract patch3.xp3 from the 7.z directly in the game folder, overwrite the old patch3.xp3.

Patch3.xp3 is a separate patch until it's completed.  You still need the Full patch (hachi and hibiki, named patch2.xp3) + the restoration patch ( bandaids removal or heliosaurus restoration, named patch.xp3 )

    Maitetsu 18+ Demosaic Patch - Paulette v0.3.7z

Great work as always! Paulette's my favourite too so much appreciated :)

One query about this scene though, I'm not sure if it's a limitation of the emote system or not but:

    Spoiler

His dick looks like it's getting smaller and bigger rather than actually penetrating her pussy.

One that I just watched the first 3 eps now is High Score Girl. Pretty decent little romance/comedy centred around arcade gaming. Worth a check and definitely under the radar as far as quality shows of the season go.

Thanks. I forgot about this one since it's not available via my regular sources ;) . Will check it out.

I've just finished Akashic Records of the Absurdly Long Titles or however it was called, and I have to say I was very satisfied with it. I was looking for a mindless shounen to take my mind of the unbearable heat, which makes my AC-deprived place of residence barely capable of sustaining human life and for the most part, it delivered. I found it funny that after the first episode (which, BTW, is a very shitty opening episode that's pretty much nothing like the rest of the series) the show pretty much only fakes out fanservice and only very vaguely incorporate harem tropes. It's much more about the fights and the protagonist, along with the two main girls really grew on me throughout the various confrontations and life-threatening situations. The first season ends in a somewhat poor moment, without explaining most of the main intrigue, but I've heard the second one is actually coming this year, so I don't think it can be counted as such a big negative.

I summary, I know why people give this show so much crap, but I disagree with the overall ratings - for what it tries to do, it's really quite a good series.

Of course, I'm a connoisseur of crap when it goes to anime, so my assessments are always of dubious value.

I'm with you, it was watchable fun crap.

I just watched Yakusoku no Nanaya Matsuri AKA Starlight Promises, an ONA. This was quite nicely done as a standlone story that starts out looking supernatural but is actually mostly a scifi drama. It was ruined only by some out of place 3D cgi in one of the pivotal moments in the whole thing but otherwise it was actually very nice and quite moving.

  5. Since this season is so boring so far, I tried to start catching up on the Captain Tsubasa remake... it's so childish it's as boring as batshit. Trying Major 2nd as well and it's a little better, but not sure I'll be able to last it out. Having Kana Hanazawa as a VA in it does miracles though ^_^.

Just wanted to show my appreciation for you doing this.  I wanted to hold off until we got official news about what would be fixed in the patch.  Now I find out that "apparently" Lose specifically requested in their 18+ version that they want nipples to be censored in the main story line but in the H-Scenes its fine?  Personally I think this is a total lie by Sekai Project/Denpasoft and they're basically taking the easy way out and also sending a political statement that they don't condone the content in the game.

There's also the matter of Fakku looking like they are complicit in this situation by stating they've spoken directly with Lose regarding these changes but on the other hand "trust that they (Denpasoft) had no ill intentions behind these changes, rather it was something specifically requested and forced on them by the creator of the game."  Why would you need to "trust" them for why they did it?  Didn't you just state that the developer specifically wanted it this way?  At best its a poor choice of words that seem to indicate that you're only communicating to Denpasoft.  If I'm reading that incorrectly please let me know.  It just doesn't logically make sense to me considering what is in the game itself already and how Lose has conducted themselves as a developer.

The tough decision here though is do you buy the game anyway because you want more content like this being brought over and hope a different publisher that isn't as slimy as SP/Denpasoft gets it, or do you forego it to try and send a message to SP/Denpasoft that this kind of crap isn't acceptable?

Anyway thanks again for going to all this work, hopefully at least this makes a final restoration easy to complete.

Probably best to leave this sort of discussion to the Maitetsu discussion thread itself and stick to discussion of this patch here where the opening poster is doing God's work to save us from this fucking shit.

Because they want to move away from porn. 2D porn featuring children is far from socially acceptable over there, and that affects their ability to work with certain companies (anyone remember the time they tried partnering with some railway company for some charity promotion or w/e, and they quit working with them after figuring out the type of games they make?).

What? Why include the hardcore scenes then and not the softcore?

I am appreciative and grateful how much attention got the mod/patch... The patch itself is an selfish project. I just wanted to remove the mosaic in the game because i gathered so much frustration from past localized releases which are with mosaics and said to myself "enough is enough". Wanted to see how hard is to make an uncensored game. Better to release all that frustration in trying to make a difference then complaining on forums/reddit and so on :)

Will you stop posting comments? I have to like every damn one of them! ^_^

I can try to see if there is a good program who can make an update to a single file, like a patch for the patch2.xp3.

But can't lose to much time on researching. I rather do the painting :). But for the weekend will look for a better way. For now till I release the complete Hibiki route ( only 3 more scenes (counting todays release) ) it will be the same.

You shouldn't waste your time. Creators need to create, not be distracted by programming tasks... BUT if you wish to find something that patches binary files efficiently, what you're looking for is xdelta3. That's what I used on my To Heart 2 final release.

  10. Bandaids make even less sense than mosaics. There's nothing realistic about bandaids over pussies and yet again it's just another way to get around the crazy censorship laws in Japan, but looks even more unnatural than mosaics which at least their intention is clear. It would have to be a pretty fucking big bandaid to cover a slit reliably and could you imagine how painful it would be to remove it?
