Actually yes, Astraythem is the game from them I would want the most, but I imagine they'll start by selling their most recent product.

Well the whole thing was disappointing to say the least.
As far as Maitetsu goes, I really don't see the reason to license a title they know is controversial only to remove the majority of it's content. While I didn't really have much plans for Maitetsu before, I absolutely deplore removal of content to give a half-assed product.     
Then there's Sakura Manga ........   

Cant wait for the sad faces (myself included ) after Seka Project announced 1 or 2 popular title without a 18+ version of it.

Kind of a disappointing list IMO. Only 2 VNs that interest me White Album 2 and Aiyoku no Eustia. Why are so many of the requests things that have been already translated I want new stuff not things I have already read before or things that are so old I just have no interest. This could be a disappointing year for official english VN releases. Oh wait it always is. How about some VNs made in the last few years with HD graphics and preferably have no gameplay(just read and make choices).

I agree with ChaosRaven that good translation quality should be a given, as that goes hand in hand with the story. The story could be awesome in it's original language, but if the translation isn't up to par then that won't really shine through. I'd end up spending more time rewriting the English in my head to something coherent, then actually being able to focus on the story elements.

I more or less expect an equivalent amount of effort to go into translation as went into writing the original game.

I wonder, what position would translation quality be in if they asked that question again after the Flowers fiasco? Maybe people needed to be reminded of how important TL quality is because MG has generally been doing a pretty good job lately. Translation is one of those things where when it's good, people tend not to notice or even think about it. They only notice when it's bad. 
It's still a sad reality that the average consumer appears to not care, as we've seen examples of time and time again with VNs.

Hi guys, not sure if Steve is still alive or not, and I hadn't actually checked to see if there was another group translating, but I have slowly been working on this game myself over the past year or so. Is there still an audience for it, and if so, how big? 

Yeah and the people that like Sakura games, unironically, are the very same type of people that I have very strong dislike for in the VN community. I fail to understand how barely finished, barely edited, and in some cases, barely readable, weeb pandering VNs with barebones storylines, and the exact same art used over and over without an ounce of creativity, keeps selling so well when nearly everything I see about the games is negative or a joke. 
 
So yes, I stand by what I said. The people who like Sakura games are,in my most humble of humble opinions, weeb trash who are encouraging the stagnation of an already growing uncreative OELVN industry. Now if I was writing a review right now, I'd be much nicer and professional about it. But I'm not, so I'm not filtering myself, nor looking at it from a critical perspective. I personally feel that these games are piles of dog shit. Nothing would pelase me more than to see  Winged Cloud go out of business OR Liberty actually write something halfway decent and even mildly creative. He ought to have the money at this point to branch out slightly and try something not revolving around tits. Or maybe even finish Guardians Spell?  Remember that? The Kickstarter they ran, and then never finished the VN promised? Yeah, Winged Cloud is trash.

I've been saying for years that simply because you like reading VNs with rape, incest, or sex with a minor; it doesn't mean you want to participate in those actions in real life. It would kinda be like saying FPS gamers want to shoot up actual human beings or that people who play the Sims want to be slavers.

I would have really preferred it if they would have taken the existing translation instead of making a complete retranslation. Hoshimem is a fine title but I most likely won't read it again just because of a retranslation that might or might not be slightly better. This way they could have just picked a completely new Favorite title instead - it wouldn't have made a difference for them, the translation costs would have been the same. Just that the way it is now I get pretty much nothing out of it, where I otherwise would have gotten a shiny new Favorite title. So it's pretty much thanks for nothing.

Well in my completely objective, and correct opinion, they are all wrong, and are terrible people. 

Yes, because Sekai project would totaly loose money from pirating when all their projects are completely funded by kickstarters. I would also like to point out that I'm pretty sure that every single one of Sekai Project's titles, regardless of rating, has been pirated.

SP has nothing to do with Littlebuster. Fruitbat Factory bought the translation from Doki and will publish it through steam and they have at least a clear stance on 18+ title. All i want from SP is a clear answer about 18 title. A simple yes or no cant be that hard right?

Well this is some horrible news. Hurray for Sekai and its bullsh*t all ages crap. I thought I would be getting to read a VN without machine translations soon and now that is out the door. We all know only the all age version will be available in October. The 18+ version if it comes out at all will be released 6 months later at least. Really guys. You couldn't try to pair up with a good localization company like MangaGamer. Sorry for sounding like a self entitled ahole, but this news has definitely angered me a bit. My anger will pass with some time though.
