I think the excessive slurping sounds the VAs make is nasty.

This is a good idea, i'm pretty sure it would benefit them to have someone translating the game for them and maybe with their help the translation could be released even quicker.

That's too bad, i was looking forward to this project and i'm sure that it was in good hands considering that you are a fan of the game and dedicated so much time and  hard work on making a translation patch but then NekoNyan had to arrive and butcher it. At the very least I expect them to take this matter on their hands even though i believe that it would have been so much better if the translation came from a fan like you who genuinely liked the game.

It could use some more editing as some of the words and phrases are not quite right. Most of it is pretty good tho. Just taking this on is a dream come true for many people. Just know that and be encourages as many will be ecstatic when this is finished.

The VN is wonderful so far (not like the anime, which was pretty bad).
I encountered the scenes after around 35 hours of playing...

Look for Sekai Project to pick that up as they have been translating Palette titles.

As long as you are open to constructive criticism and are transparent about your effort. If your Japanese is pretty good, perhaps the TL might be better than what those publishers put out. Especially if you are true to what is said in the Japanese text. In many cases they over localize and edit it which ruin what is in the original text. Sometimes they add crap that should not even be there. It sounds like you have a great passion for this game, which I share with you. It has to be if not the best one of the best modern visual novels out there. I look forward to your common route patch. I think with just that in English, people will see what a masterpiece this is.

Gonna be honest, I'm one of those that just have zero interest in EVN. The artstyle just doesn't fit my taste, and the content tends to be either too "americanized", or just straight up boring. The humour in particular, as an Asian weeb, all them western humour just either fly right over my head, or just seem incredibly dumb to me, like "do they really find this funny?"
It not exactly helps that the first few EVNs that I read were Winged Cloud stuff....
Seriously, they are still pumping out like 5-6 games every year and people are still buying their trashes, how?

I'm actually quite confused with your idea of "if it's an animated game made in Japan then it's a visual novel". They are allowed to make other types of the game too, you know?
And yeah, I generally do not consider these games to be visual novel - just interactive game/movie. After all, it's a visual NOVEL, so the reading need to be the main part, not the clicking (I have tried a game of this type before - the darn thing made me pick a choice every minute or two) and listening. Other things should only play as support element that even if you remove them, the game will still work just fine. That's why kinetic novel - a type of visual novel - exists - there is no choice in the game, some don't even have voices, all you need to do is read.
Btw, I do think that live-action and other non-traditional stuff are fine - as long as they still keep the elements mentioned above in the game.

No for the live action. There has been a few that have been animated like School Days, but it still keeps the text box as it reads like a novel.  Here is how Visual novel database defines visual novels. https://vndb.org/d2 Section 1.

No...........visual novels are text based like a well, a novel. They generally have static images, voice acting, and sound effects. Most do not have game play. The reason why the ones with game play are still classified as visual novels is because they are still primarily text based. Live action shows and fully animated games can NEVER be classified as visual novels. 

I started Clover Day's and already in just the beginning I have found many examples of mistranslations, or text that was just lazily left out. Looks like the TL checker was worthless or they didn't have one.

Not really into the setting of Walkure Romanze. I will try Clover Day's. While it looks like just another fluffy Moege, I remember the comedy being good and it looks like there is some emotional drama in it.

I'm so going to be busy playing Walkure Romanze and Clover Days, lucky I have a lot of free time to play VN.
I don't have time to play Pokemon Scarlet and it's going to take break from it.

Um no.......but ok. I found the common route in Grisaia to be very good. Sakura Moyu is another example of a VN that is long but very good. As far as reusing gags goes, I see that more in moege than anything else. If it is long and boring then I get it. However, if it is long and keeps you captivated, then there is nothing wrong with it being a longer VN.

To be honest, this isn't one of your better videos...  Length preferences are entirely a matter of taste and most VNs are too short, not too long.  A lot of VNs cut out stuff so that they have excuses to make fandiscs, after all.   
To some extent, I can agree that Hoshi Ori is too long, but for a certain crowd (who want to follow the romance until they are in the grave) it is an attractive game.
Your comments on Dies Irae were malicious and excessive.  It was like listening to a 4chan troll's rant.  I also found it amusing you were comparing it to Fate/Stay Night, when the experiences are completely different except for the beginning.  Instead of pointing out things that could have been cut out to shorten the game (which was supposedly the premise of the video), you immediately decided to bash it in general, which kinda defeats the point of including it in the first place. 

I use VPN or I just currently buy physical Japanese items from now on.
The worst thing is that they blocked foreign cards, kek. Like do they want gaijins like to buy their crap or not?
