  1. I agree with ChaosRaven that good translation quality should be a given, as that goes hand in hand with the story. The story could be awesome in it's original language, but if the translation isn't up to par then that won't really shine through. I'd end up spending more time rewriting the English in my head to something coherent, then actually being able to focus on the story elements.
  2. I guess I can marked this as solved. It seems that whatever new updates were done to VNR in the last week or two don't seem compatible with my machine. I don't know if it's a Windows XP thing or just a my machine thing, but it works just fine when I use an older version from about November 1, so I'll leave it at that and just have to use it without updating it.
  3. My OS is Windows XP SP3. The program worked fine about two weeks ago, but I think there was an update since then. It was working fine on my computer at work where the OS is Windows 7. I'm wondering if I just need to use an older version then and not update it.
  4. I've done both of those and unfortuntately, it still gets hung up. CPU usage usually hangs around at 50%.
  5. So, for the last week or so VNR gets hung up whenever I try to start it. I've tried deleting and re-adding it, and updating it as well and it's still getting hung up. I've used the visual novel reader debugger script and it seems to get hung up right after "create speech recognition manager". I'm not sure what to do about that. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
