  1. Cross+Channel and a satisfying end? I am surprised.
  2. Just work your way through the Majikoi Series! Also Cyanotype Daydream maybe?
  3. We do not call him the "Biman schizo" for no reason. I am glad Arcade is back at it. @Arcadeoticcan you confirm that @Eschasintrais still doing Biman2 wasurenagusa no shoujo or not? I know you worked together and that I kind of built a team for her in the past that could surely have been capable of doing it. More Happoubi Jin for the world!
  4. Bro, then play Ourai no Gahkthun, which is a localized Liarsoft Game by MangaGamer. And yea, france truly a weird place. Almost like French Canada xD https://www.mangagamer.com/r18/detail.php?goods_type=1&product_code=156
  5. Fushigi no Kuni na Alice, the classic tale by Lewis Carroll has been imitated since the beginning of time (ok, not that long) and I can personally remember quite a few games that had done it. They are always odd and mysterious, so I like them a lot. Yugami no Kuni no Alice ~REcollection~ seems to be another one of these odd games. It is published by Nightmare Studio, INC. who release this as their first title, it seems. The Switch version came out on the 25th of August 2022 in Japanese, Chinese and English. Unfortunately, if one takes a look at the steam description all hopes for an attractive English translation leave the body. See it for yourself. https://vndb.org/v38033 But hey, it has my boy Steiner.
  6. Akira Misaki’s Birthday VN Sale! – MangaGamer Staff Blog Why wait for a seasonal sale, if you can have a vtuber sale (●´ω`●)
  7. Dear diary, Today was another super exciting day full of even more exciting events. This morning we handed in one of the first translation projects for our newly founded German translation company "Mimir Translations". I look forward to the QC run that's going to follow once the new build is returned. This marks the first actual time we earned recognition and money while operating as a three-pronged company. Once the website is live, more details will follow. We also made some new plans to take VN.Info into another direction and Fuwanovel's successful launch obviously will be included. Tomorrow morning, I will probably craft a post so masses of innocent sheep from the VN.Info Hub (Our beloved VN.Info Hub) can also contribute to the glory of this place. GLORY TO ARSTOTZKA, oops, wrong game. Now, let's get to the topic I want to talk about. Apparently, there is a way to show the memberlist in Invision and when @Sinnedtold me how to do it, my jaw dropped. It is a three-step process which I will detail in the following images: Who the fuck came up with this nonsense? Apparently, you first go to the search console, click the lens and enter nothing. Then you arrive at a bigger search interface, choose Member search and type nothing again. Then you arrive at the insanely big userlist of 20215 people. I honestly did not expect Fuwanovel to have had this many members. As you probably know a lot of the new people you meet here are handpicked and grabbed by your's truly. Once they hear how cool we all are on Fuwanovel they simply want to join back - so far there has been no one that was able to resist the allure of this place. And this is all due to you guys, you're amazing. I can already tell that our future will be bright. Look forward, what we got for you on the blog. Our team of talented writers is ready to mesmerize you all!
  8. T TOPIC: Revenge on school mates There is one eroge that is a purely revenge-based rather brutal eroge. It is called "Minikui Mojika no Ko". I remember faintly how it went, but the beginning is honestly really memorable. The main character is uglier than sin and he gets bullied and teased by people in his school for it, but he has the special ability to read their thoughts (as depicted as Japanese text that floats around these characters exposing their true thoughts. These are usually full of insults and disparaging thoughts and so after enough abuse the protagonist may snap and do some really evil shit to some of these girls. "Minikui Mojika no Ko" is basically a take on "The Ugly Duckling" produced by Nitroplus, but it feels more like a CLOCK UP Title through and through. Can be purchased on JAST when they finally localize it, they are not really subtle about working on it tbh. TOPIC: Revenge on Mahou Shoujo who work for a rival Goddess (with fat boobs) Another title about revenge that I can come up with is Yamizome Revenger. In this you play as the protagonist who is taken over (half) by an evil demon who wants to expose the truths in girl's hearts. And while it is a more comedic type of revenge it is a game about corrupting heroines and there are definitely a lot of sections which clearly classify as violent hatefucks. I worked on this game and saw every single of its H-Scenes and I tell you --- I've seen some shit in my time... Can be purchased on JAST-Store TOPIC: Revenge on humanity Last game I would like to recommend is "Night Shift Nurses", but I do not want to say much besides that it is about a Doctor called Hirasaka Ryuuji who has been experimenting on women and still does so. I have not played deep into it yet, but this guy probably has some of the most misanthropic and hate filled dialogue that is just authentic if uttered such a flawed character that is clearly villainous. I mean he threatens the taxi guy in the first 5 minutes of the game. Japanese only, get it on DLSITE
  9. Fuwanovel completely approves of r/vns. If gambs bans you from r/visualnovels (like he did with me) just go there. We're pretty much supportive of another and you can also post cool stuff from the forums here over there. They'll grow slowly but I believe people kind of know what is going on now and go to r/vns anyways. Also, fuwanovel links kinda get gatekept by the moderation staff on r/visualnovels to halt our growth. We don't really need them so let them be in their own bubble. Both communitys offer benefits to the entire VN community and this is all that counts. Making VNs great is not a matter of what platform we use, it is about the contents.
  10. Lurking the JAST discord people stated that this contains a lot of slapstick humour. I really believe it is some kind of black comedy, kind of like gore screaming show.
  11. It is not easy to be a blogger, especially not when you start working for multiple blogs at once, try to raise translation company with your best friends and do a lot of management stuff on your own. Thankfully, Zaka is a super helpful person who even shocked me today by throwing a script that was almost ready-to-publish right in my face. I remember that back in the day I loved checking out the fuwanovel VNTS post and it deeply saddened me when it suddenly ended somewhere around the time where Eiyu Senki GOLD released. Funkily enough, Eiyu Senki GOLD was my first project I have ever worked on for JAST and it was to this day one of the funniest and simplest games I played. I should eventually review it, but then.. so far there is not a single of the 6 games I QCed for JAST that I have played privately... maybe I should do Majikoi: Love me Seriously! again with full-voices... I don't really know. I think I missed a lot of entertainment factor that this game loses when you are only playing with the 7+1 voices that JAST could ship it with - bless the Majikoicord overlords. And here we have it again, I went on a tangent. This is actually a statement that someone made about me today after reading my musings on the VNTS post. They're totally right, but my brain operates differently. It operates at double the speed and this is not necessarily good. Well, let's get to the point of this post: When writing for the VNTS I realized that fuwanovel does not use the Gutenberg-Editor, which I have gotten used to while writing more than 500 articles for VN.Info. This means that I had to look at the questionable deception of a WYSIWYG editor again today. Unfortunately, such an editor definitely lies to you, because when making THICC H2/H3 headings it looks bigger and less orderly than it ultimately looks in the published post. Also I got memed by the fuwa Wordpress backend being setup to follow U.S. timezones so my suspenseful hitting the publishing button with my big left toe did not work... REE, Wordpress, my beloved ...
  12. Welcome here Hatch, hope you enjoy your time. We're both very ambitious people so I can fully understand you. I don't think however that all EVNs are bad, especially lately there has been a resurgence of really good ones. Mainly the ero market itself might be a bit oversaturated with cheap patreon constant money-collecting never to be finished games that suffer from feature-creep. But you make some good ones, despite them being mostly nukige on the shorter side with stellar art. Thanks that you are participating in Fuwas resurgence, we can need a monster girl soldier such as you!
  13. This is pretty cool to see a new publishing house taking stage. This does not exactly mean they will be a VN publisher, but the promises they make are surely not bad. They are fulfilling basic and advanced publishing needs and even look into releasing games with additional language options, how convenient.
  14. Unfortunately this is not how the reality is. I'm not canadian, but there has indeed been a case in the past where a very popular member of the vn community named @Doddler ran into a bad situation with the police because he imported a lolicon onahole. I mean sure.. that's not VNs but it is possible that your stuff gets held up in customs at least. You won't be arrested for it however, this I don't believe happens. But I have not looked into the law, frankly. Doddler’s story about loli content in Canada ║ Onahole.eu – review blog about Japanese sex toys & more! (nsfw)
  15. Dear Diary, It is not surprising that after the 5 years I'm already in this scene (it is probably more, because just 5 years ago the whole VN.Info thing took off and I oddly played some VNs earlier too) I met many people in this scene who came and went. After living for 3-4 years as a total meme, but totally unobstructed by whatever stood in my way to essentially shape VN.Info into what it is now, I had a big public fight with some people that left some psychological damage and required some introspective. I decided to completely switch my personality to someone who is just striving for harmony, does not get triggered at the occasional idiot anymore and is just focused on his goal to be "Making VNs popular in the west" or by extension probably due to my illusions of grandeur "Making VNs popular in the world". In order to achieve this goal, I have had the pleasure to meet a lot of special people from the scene and the VN community who carry somewhat an influence in companies, fan projects or generally the western VN world. I believe that Fuwanovel (the community we are currently in and that is trying to drag its body out of its coffin after it laid idle for effectively 6 years or more) can achieve everything that we desire from the VN community. I wish to create a society where ppl are not gatekept for external reasons, where fanTL and official TL can thrive in parallel and where a healthy blog scene is nurturing. In order to do that I sacrifice my time and effort to connect people who have otherwise never met in the hope they can create something great when working in collaboration with others. Many fan translation projects have failed not necessarily because the staff was incompetent, but because they either lacked the social skills for HR/management or their ego stood in their way of achieving greatness. Fuwanovel houses about 10 years of history and back in the day so many things were posted here where the githubs are still alive and still offer opportunity for the new generation of VN fans to learn how to deal with VN engines and how to start their own translation projects. The FanTL still scene has so much potential. I can see and 95% when I decide to hop fresh into someone's DMs and they get surprised like "who the fuck are you?" it still ends up being a nice talk. Mainly, because we all share the same passions. However, to get to the point of this post's title. Due to this "dancing on every party" that I perform day after day in my mission to lay bridges for people, I ran into an interesting roadblock that I was not aware existed. Discord only allows you to have exactly 1000 friends, an arbitrary limit that obviously now tugs on my heartstrings because it forces me to delete some people from my friendlist. I'm convinced that these people will eventually prove useful in some particular project and then I have to wrack my brain to recall their usernames. I can already see it... Someone from JAST once said that he knows what "type of person" I am. I'm a person that enjoys being the well connected one and would bask in being the go-to guy for the fandom I occupy. Indeed, I enjoy that very much. But as long as it contributes to great projects being realized, no one can say I'm doing this out of malice, can they?
  16. Hola, welcome to Fuwanovel! I'm glad you found us here. If you are willing to grow the Hispanic community you are perfect here, because just recently someone made a convenient thread about the Hispanic VN scene and their history. Maybe you are involved in the fantranslation scene (which is still the best way to spread around the word in your country). If not it is worth getting involved in it for sure! I hope you enjoy your time here, hop on the fuwa discord if you like!
  17. After searching far and wide in the forum and being unable to find a post on Venus Blood Gaia Localization Project, I just decided to make my own. So apparently the third (or fourth?) kickstarter project by the famed eroge company @Ninetail has been announced, went through its funding phase with high success and will end today. The game is basically another of the Venus Blood Eroge, that have already met big success in the west before hand and still have a multitude of titles that are yet to be localized. So far there have been localized "Venus Blood Frontier", "Venus Blood HOLLOW" (which was originally Hypno) and now Venus Blood Gaia. VenusBlood GAIA English Localization Project by Ninetail — Kickstarter Here is the kicker. Unfortunately, I'm too stupid for these games. I tried Venus Blood Frontier Intl with the base tutorial and I never got along with the mechanics and succumbed to the damage taken when using a night unit in broad daylight and vice versa. Unfortunately S-RPGs that are more complicated than Kamidori or Eiyu Senki GOLD seem simply not be made for me. But there are surely a ton of ppl who love this game series, given the incredible response that each of the kickstarter projects have gotten. If you guys are interested in taking a look at this game and read a review that goes indepth into its mechanics before it is released, then I recommend you the old 2015 review by user @sanahtlig. The same applies to other games of the series. Venus Blood Gaia: Taking strategy eroge to the next level (non-adult mirror) - Sanahtlig's Corner - Fuwanovel Forums I hope everyone who acquires this game will enjoy it. The variety of characters is impeccable and due to the stretch goals they consistently meet there is also bonus content, that the original JP version did not have back in the day.
  18. Oh wow, I just saw this because you bumped it, but the artstyle looks hot. I love satoko-like women with long hair!
  19. I love genshit impact! And Kiri delivers!!!!
  20. The game is now fully released! Spooky times with insects and creepy-crawlys are awaiting you!
  21. Okay, then there is a game you surely have not played! Sarute | vndb Review here btw: Review: Salthe – Eine Tragikomödie in fünf Akten – Visual Novel.Info (visual-novel.info)
  22. Oh absolutely. Did you play "S na Onee-chan ga suki desu ka?" Do S na Onee-san wa Suki Desu ka? | vndb Edit: OOPS totally misunderstood the topic lmao. Well, Cherry Kiss has a ton of these games, but they are pretty much shovelware nukige of the month material. How about Eternal Torment (Mugen Renkan) by LIQUID or Beat Blades Haruka & Beat Angel Escalayer by ALICESOFT?
  23. Welcome here. Since I don't use this site I probably do not know you, but you're welcome here. (●´ω`●) You need to be aware however that unlike the site you mentioned you won't be getting any prepatches or other warez from here. But you probably know that already However, we seem to have a nice influx of new fantranslation projects here lately! Those are worth checking out!
