  1. I guess the smaller publishers will be the ones to take the risk in hopes of getting publicity while the larger ones will end up playing it safe like Mangagamer and wait.
  2. Considering how Youtube has used their algorithms so far I would assume that the horrible things will be implemented in not too long.
  3. I am wondering why they then decided to do a physical release for the title. While I think you are right it does seem rather odd to make physicals for a VN that isn't considered likely to generate much profit. Taking into consideration that mangagamer just do physicals for the titles that sell well it seems rather odd for SP to expect to manage to not lose money on the physical release. Personally I am all for physical releases and want to see more of them, just seems like a rather odd title for a physical, especially when shipping is quite a lot compared to the price of the VN itself.
  4. Well I don't think it will be nearly as fetish heavy as a fetish nukige, though I would assume that it is a bit more fetish heavy than a lot of non nukige eroge. To know what happens in regard to fetish nukige I guess we just have to look at whether cherrykissgames get harem guild on steam without a patch.
  5. Well here is their mature content description Negligee: Love Stories features story-lines that frequently include sexual themes and through them illustrations featuring nudity, undressing and sexual interactions. Including single partner and multiple partner imagery. Sexual interactions between men and women as well as women and women are depicted. The game also features a story relating to nymphomania. From this it seems like it will include sex between men and women not just yuri, also considering one of the stories relates to nymphomania I would assume that it isn't super vanilla
  6. I would say the chance is pretty good for sexual content to be accepted considering that Neglige love stories got through, though whether loli VNs or VNs with characters who aren't clearly 18+ will be accepted might be a more interesting question.
  7. I updated that on the list a few days ago, and from what I can see it is appropriatly shown in white without mentioning anything about not being released in english yet. Maybe you looked at the quoted list on the 3rd page of the comments? Once something is quoted it won't change even if the original does, use the list on the first page, that is the one I am editing.
  8. I suppose Starless would fit the criteria, though I am not sure if that is the kind of VN you are looking for. It is really messed up.
  9. With the latest physical release from Denpasoft it seems like Sekai Project is planning to do more physical releases outside of kickstarter, while I don't really like SP due to many of the shitty things they have done I at least want to commend them for doing some physical releases outside of kickstarter.
  10. The ones with way more sales than is average or with roughly no sales at all. For instance if the average VN sells about 7000 copies and there is one that sells 300k copies it is an outlier, ofc the direct defined area might be a bit hard to figure out.
  11. Even if they open the gates I can't really imagine something like Euphoria, Maggot Baits or Starless end up on steam.
  12. Did you remove outliers? For instance something like nekopara could likely have a huge impact on the average on its own, I think the interesting question is how a VN with average sales sell through the different years rather than also including the ones that sold way more or less than average.
  13. I would have been interested in it if it weren't for SP being the publisher.
  14. The white Kara no Shoujo is Kara no Shoujo 1 while the black one is Kara no Shoujo 2. As for Konosuba, I have the limited edition which has an outer box and soundtrack as well as a drama CD. The other cover is the normal edition.
  15. Have done my monthly update now if I screwed anything up please tell me, also I would like to mention that a few titles from Mangagamer are very low in stock on their site.
  16. Gochuumon wa usagi desu ka I found to be quite good, personally I felt like it managed the relaxed and cute atmosphere really well, I actually liked it a whole lot more than the anime, felt like it worked better in regards to things such as comedic timing. It is of course really childish, but if you liked the anime or manga you are probably really going to like the VN. As for the Sakurasou one I found it to be a nice read, they handle the characters quite well and the jokes worked pretty well. The story works well with the series and the characters and I think it is overall pretty good. A problem I have with it though is that you need to do each route 2 times to get everything, they have these short events that last only a few minuts that you need a 2nd playthrough of the route to get, also there is a new game+ thing which forces you to begin from scratch if you want that extra scene. Also there is a gameplay thing where you have to choose who works on what and this will determine which route you get into, so it can be a pain in the ass going through the same thing again. So ye a good VN, but with some stupid decisions regarding gameplay and unlocking events. The To Love Ru VN I found to be quite a disappointment. I really love the manga and the anime of To Love Ru (well the anime after season 1) and so I expected to really like it. Though my problems with it was that in many cases it lended too much from the original series doing pretty much just the same thing, but tamer due to restrictions of being on the Vita. The different routes were quite different in quality in my opinion with some being rather good and some being really bad, I thougth the Yami route was especially bad. While it does lend a lot from the anime and manga it does have some original content as well that at times are nice, so it is not horrible, though I think they could have done a much better job with it. Also there is this odd compression that makes everything look a lot worse than it should have, not sure why. Also the VN bugged out on me right before unlocking the last few CGs and stopped saving (can't save at all on any save file), then I deleted my data skipped through what I had gone through and right as I finished my last route the same problem occured, this is also something that seems to be more widespread since I managed to find some japanese sites where people were asking for help, didn't find an answer though. Plastic Memories and Re;Zero VNs are still on my backlog, so ye can't really say much about them. I am currently reading New Game! The Challenge Stage, feels like it is a bit lacking compared to the anime, since I feel like the animation was quite important for the mood of the scenes in the anime, but I am not really that far into it and I think it will pick up towards the later half. Maybe if people are interested I could do some reviews of some of these.
  17. I haven't played them yet, while I have a big collection I haven't really played that many of them. Regarding the japanese titles I have so far played 5 titles on vita and 1 on PS4 and haven't really started on PC, kind of wanted to use the console ones to get better in japanese before going to the PC ones, but pretty sure I should be able to read Hanasaki Work Springs easily so will probably start reading it in not too long. Gin'iro Haruka will probably take me a while considering the length of it. The collection is a result of a trip I had to Japan (all the physical PC titles), importing lots of VNs based on anime since they are rather easy and a good way to practise japanese + being fun and also just collecting the titles I wanted that were available in english in case they went out of print. So ye I have a very long backlog, slowly getting through them though.
  18. Some of my english visual novels More of my english visual novels Grisaia complete box English visual novels with NSFW cover Japanese visual novels for PC More japanese visual novels for PC Some more japanese physicals, some of them have NSFW box My japanese visual novels for PS Vita My japanese visual novels for PS3 and PS4 I know Neptunia is not quite defined as a VN, though it does have long VN segments and I just wanted to add it here at the end As you can see I have quite a lot.
  19. I have now done my monthly update on the list, if there is anything that is wrong or missing please tell me.
  20. SG+Sekai+Moenovel combines their power to destroy visual novels outside of Japan.
  21. From Nekonyan's FAQ about Aokana What about a release on consoles? We're not at liberty to say at present.
  22. Haven't done it yet, but I am going to reread some parts so I can make my review of Imouto Paradise and Eroge sex and games make sexy games.
  23. Just checked twitter and found Edit: Here is the follow up to it
  24. Once you add my japanese ones on top of that it gets quite a bit larger, maybe I should make a topic where I show all the VN I have physical copies of.
