no, i'm still porting the lines
I don't want to fix the translations or do TLC, I just want to people read C+C in a better edition (the original edition sucks) 
About the translations, I'm still thinking about this, maybe I'll port the 2 translations. I can't decide myself if Amaterasu or GHS TL is better ( I think that GHS better, but, other people can think different, idk jp to see myself :c )
If someone wants do TLC or re-translate, contact me!
But my principal aim is port the TL, so i'll continue doing this.

CROSS+CHANNEL - REPRINT EDITION

After realized that the original version isn't so good in quality, (the window size, text box, graphics in bad quality) I'm thinking in port the 2 translations (Amaterasu & GHS), but actually, i'm porting the GHS TL. (I decided to port the translation of George Henry Shaft) to the Reprint Edition (the window size increased to 800x600, text box a little better, graphics in a good quality and such) 
The hacking is 100% done, I extracted and repacked the scripts without big problems.
But, there is a few minor problems: 
Only a few images will be repacked to the game, because there isn't any tool on internet to convert .WIP files properly The names will be with a ' in the end, nothing that will cause trouble to your gameplay (idk why this ' appear in the name) I'm thinking in someone do a FullTLC (make the translations more readable) or people to re-translate this game, if you want, contact me!
I'll not create a site anymore, I'll post the progress here.

We just got a playable demo for our upcoming yuri-themed visual novel SeaBed up. To play it, just navigate to the Steam page and click "Download Demo".
The demo features around the first hour of gameplay from the visual novel and focuses on two of the main characters: Sachiko and Takako.
The upcoming release (as well as the demo) has English and Japanese language options and its graphics have been upgraded to 1440x1080 resolution, with support for multiple resolutions. 
The game's currently being reviewed by Zakamutt on behalf of Fuwa, so you can look forward to some impressions there too, but in the meantime why not check it out for yourself?
The full game is out December 19. The full game has an estimated playtime of 20-30 hours.

Synopsis
SeaBed is a critically acclaimed yuri-themed mystery visual novel told through the perspectives of three separate characters: Mizuno Sachiko, a designer plagued by hallucinations of her past lover; Narasaki Hibiki, Sachiko's friend and a psychiatrist researching the workings of human memories; and Takako, Sachiko's former lover who has been rapidly forgetting her past, including how or why the two women drifted apart despite being together since childhood. 
All three live in different worlds, but seek the same goal. To separate truth from illusion. To make sense of their own lives.

That is ... not impossible, but it's unlikely.  Most of these companies don't do the English versions in-house.  They let their US publishing partners take care of it.  In fact, we've seen the results of Japanese companies going it alone.  They tend not to be able to judge how good a translation is themselves, so they tend to hire really bad translators.  The results tend to be things like Libra, or early MangaGamer translations.
Edit: Besides, a censored game just happened to be published by the only major player known for censoring things.  Personally, I think that's good enough.  I'm assuming Nutaku probably did it on that basis.  I'm not willing to extend them the benefit of the doubt.  Sure, we don't have proof.  The evidence still points in their direction.
I mean, Nutaku hasn't even denied being responsible.  If they were to issue an official statement which said "we did not request these changes, the original licensor wanted them" then that would be different.  (Nutaku has a reputation for being dishonest, so I might not believe them.  But a denial would definitely make me more likely to give them the benefit of the doubt.)

No. While everyone involved bears some blame, Nutaku probably bears the brunt of it. Likely all the licensor did wrong was pick the wrong localizer.  For two reasons:
1) Nutaku has pulled similar stunts before.  In fact, they got caught censoring a game, then used the DMCA to take down articles criticizing them over it.  After this, they said they planned to censor less. They also committed to being open and fully disclosing whenever they think they have to censor something.  See here and here (around the 10 min mark). For this reason alone, Nutaku deserves flak, either for incompetence (announcing a game is censored really isn't a hard commitment to live up to), or for deliberately lying.
2) Let's consider the field of Nutaku competitors here.
Jast USA.  I seem to recall Jast actually did the virgin blood thing once.  I think in addition to XC3's loli problems, some blood was also censored.  That was a long time ago, and it seems like Peter actually learned his lesson from the ensuing uproar.  As for traps, Jast USA localized two full-on BL VNs.  I'm fairly confident Jast wouldn't demand/make either change. MangaGamer.  Some MG titles have a fair amount of virgin blood. They seem fine with it.  As for traps, they've yet to do a game with a trap 'heroine'.  But they've done a trap protag and a reverse trap.  They've also done well with BL titles; with otome titles; and with their one GxB title (so far).  I can't see MangaGamer making either of those changes, either. Denpasoft.  I've never heard of Denpasoft ever censoring anything.  And SP/Denpasoft had that gender bender BL title they tried to Kickstart.  Sure, it didn't work.  But they tried. I can't see any of these three companies making either of these changes.  All three of the big names probably would have left well enough alone.  But if you believe that, doesn't that basically mean that the only reason the game ended up censored was because it was released by Nutaku?  Which would indeed make it their fault.

Why would Nutaku censor the gay route? They don't have the excuse of "well, it might violate the law" in this case. It's just plain homophobia.

Whelp, that's one more game I don't need to worry about.  I guess it's good to know Nutaku still isn't trustworthy?

Umineko Project is working on porting the PS3 version to PC with english and russian language support.

Just an update to say this project isn't dead.  Progress is slow, but things are still coming along.
I'm currently 85% through translating Kageboushi and aiming to have a proper release by the end of the year.

To be honest considering the game is made by pulltop it is quite expected that moenovel would be behind the localisation. So it is being released in a way we expected, just not the way we want it.

Nobody's trying to make Moenovel/Pulltop look like the good guys. You need to stop snapping at people over this, and you also need to stop telling other people the kinds of games they should or shouldn't be playing. I enjoy eroge with or without the h-scenes, and this preference is none of your business.
I think it's silly to not offer 18+ options for eroge. It would be best if there was that option, and I'd use it if it was available. I also think it's okay to present people with accurate information as to what is and isn't expected to be censored, and I don't understand why you're lashing out against people trying to do so.

The problem is that this is still censorship when the full version isn't released.
All other localization companies offers the full version through a patch or on a different website. The only reason steam always has censored releases is because that's Steam's policy, and Steam is the biggest VN platform in the west.
But Moenovel doesn't offer the original in any way.
I am glad that they have at least (seemingly, we'll have to wait and see for sure,) stopped literally censoring anything from kissing to innuendos, but the problem still remains; they only localize eroge, then censor them and slap them on steam. Some people might be okay with having H-scenes removed, but that doesn't mean it's okay.
This is eroge we are talking about. If you don't want H-scenes in them, you're playing the wrong genre.
 
Please stop trying to make Moenovel look like the good guys here. They still censor their games, and they still ignore all fan feedback. If you're going to cover this game in the VNTS, please make a disclaimer saying it has been censored, and that supporitng them advocates that.
If people keep supporting Moenovel, they'll keep repeating the same shit over and over. The only way to make them stop is to cut off their money. Trying to tell them what the west wants hasn't worked. People have been doing that since If My Heart Had Wings launched. All they think about is money, and they get that when people keep on buying their censored crap.
The VN localization scene has come so far in the past couple of years. We're finally at a point where censorship doesn't happen that much anymore. Most new eroge localizations gets their respective 18+ versions, and all-ages versions for those who wants that. Everybody wins.
So when a company like Moenovel starts censoring stuff without offering the original anywhere, they are ruining the great thing the west has finally started building. Don't support companies like them; we deserve better.

No, those tags are chosen by users I think. Most VNs gets that tag, even if they don't actually have nudity, cuz #steam. Might also be a marketing tactic to make horny 14 year olds click on the game.  

I don't like Insem translation for 3 reasons:
First it was translated from CHINESE to english, meaning it was a Japanese -> Chinese -> English translation.
Second Insem kicked off from the team anyone that dared to suggest that his translation was in serious need of TLC and editing because it was crap and badly written (though it probably wouldn't have fixed the inherent problems with a J->C->E translation and the fact that Insem isn't really a great writter).
Third Insem is an asshole and a racist.
