I, um, okay. It's weird enough to make you wonder if you should be replacing the xyz with some more common code, but maybe I'm more used to that meme than the usual person.

It turns out I am not going to post all of the screenshots on Fuwa at the end, I have got too many of them at hand right now so if anybody wants those right now, I will just post them all on my google drive account and link it here if necessary, I literally proofread the entire trial It can be read in half an hour or little bit more than that but the overall experience is a pleasant one ...
I posted my short opinions already on the survey's poll so I will try to be more detailed here in this post and I will make some comments about everything that I noticed while reading the trial.
There's more but I wanted to include only some of them and I think I got a little bit carried away so I hope the translators and everybody else on the team will not take it too hard on them. I really appreciate the efforts so I wanted to be as thorough as I could while going through and I know that this is just a trial and isn't really meant to be nothing more than that. Overall, the translation is very readable and there isn't any real issue that I have had with it. The VN itself looks like a fun slice of life comedy and I'd definetily read the entire thing based on this trial. The heroines actually seem interesting and the art is superb! I really love the art, it's definetily eye candy ...
Anyway, if anybody wants, I can compress and upload all the screenshots I have made in case it's needed. I didn't post all of screenshots here and it would be too much anyway for all of them.
I just want to say thanks to the Kachin Kachin Team on their efforts and also to wish them a Happy New Year ...
Edit: The screenshots don't work well on Fuwa ... It looks like they are broken but when I look them through edit, they display properly. I don't know how to fix that.
Edit 2: And now they display correctly. I don't know what's going on. It probably requires some page refreshing and some waiting, I am not sure why is that.

I think that people will call me by my username, so yeah, I'm Kazami Yuiji (I know, is Yuuji). I often go to this forum for walkthroughs and occasionally for talks.
I enjoy reading visual novel, mangas, light novel and watching animes. I suppose that I'm somehow otaku, but I do not draw manga or write storys... (but I'd like to write a light novel)
Anyway, just for fun, I really like Kazami Yuuji from Grisaia no Kajitsu. A great and proactive protagonist, a little good looking (I'm a guy) and... summary, he's really cool.

Presumably itching at the chance to build a breakaway lead while I was doing my little touch-up project, our two translators went to the wall and put up what is probably our single biggest week of actual TL progress. Joke's on them, because while editing progress is still 0 this week, I just finished my touch-up work (which was time well-spent and has left me quite content with the current state of our script), and I have a four-day weekend ahead of me with few obligations. You can have this week, but I'm throwing down the glove for next week, and we'll see who wins, suckers.

just a minor request: while writing a new version of out project introduction I noticed that the css property 'table-layout' is unavailable for forum posts.
I am aware that html/css purification is a crucial step to prevent unwanted code injection but this particular property doesn't entail any security risks
table-layout: fixed; causes equal row widths, with looks much nicer if you ask me:

The forum also won't let me set the width of that table to calc(100% - 40px), is there any particular reason for that?
As a temporary solution I will set a minimum cell width, but that will look weird on smaller screens like mobile devices ^^

Then I stumbled around here and thought that this'll be a good, refreshing experience for me to expend my free time into. Plus, I can improve my Japanese in the process!

I debated for a while on whether or not I'd publicly announce this. In fact, I still have many doubts, but I decided to go for it instead of hestiating to keep the momentum I have going right now.
Yes, I decided to start another translation project, and for a game I only very recently got into. Could this be the biggest mistake of my life? Who knows, but I'm doing it anyway.
I hope you'll bear with me on yet another journey that will hopefully not crumble.

Last week has been a good one in terms of progress
5 of 13 Tsugumi scripts are translated and work on Nanako's route has started. Trial edition has progressed a bit as well

Overall, the prologue was rather well written if not a bit overwrought, good work! This is actually of really good quality overall for a fan translation... even if I already spotted a couple typos, haha.
That seems to be a sort of progress tracker. Scenes you complete will show up there as you complete them.

To run, simply place the patch2.xp3 into the game folder, and start the game!  As always, remember to have your locale in Japaneses and use only English and Japanese characters in the path to the exe.
Be sure to install the 1.01 patch from Lass before running.
 
Also, if on windows 10, be sure to have Japanese fonts installed (windows 10 doesn't install them by default).

I was very vocal about my passion for visual novels and porn during my uni years too, so I'm actually impressed by the guts of the guy, and agree with him on the philosophical level at least. The only thing our society achieved by repressing sexuality for arbitrary reasons is more mental illness and stress. An according to Freud, all forms of art are just sublimation of our sexuality anyway, so I don't see why a drawing of sex couldn't be considered it.
...That said, you won't overturn thousands of years worth of societal imprinting with a single class, so the reaction was pretty much unavoidable. You probably could have tried to soften the presentation by obfuscating the image a little, or giving them some historical Japanese "pornographic" art like I linked earlier and introduce that as an evolution of that. Anyway, it's a complicated thing that will automatically make a lot of ppl upset if not presented well... and uh, I'm not sure if high school is the best place for it, given that our society arbitrarily restricts people your age from even consuming erotica yet... still better be a weirdo than live as a pretender!
