I'm currently going through the last weeks of my college semester and it's completely hectic, as you might expect, thus I literally have no time to focus on the project.
Clephas is having much bigger issues as well and needs to take care of himself first and foremost.
Editing and proofreading are also taking time.
Because we want to make sure everything is up to par, it's safe to say things are going to get dragged out for a while longer and the two months deadline will not be met.
On my end, I expect to be back in full force once my college semester is done at the very least, but I do apologize that I couldn't fulfill the deadlines.

I also ordered the rest of the volumes from that site, btw. Their service has been great for me so far and has saved me tons of money (No shipping and no VAT = Holy grail for Europeans)

Girl Friends (yeah it's the holy grail of yuri manga. You're a pleb if you don't agree) Hana to Hina wa Houkago (The most recent manga by the author of Girl Friends, Morinaga Milk, and it's just as cute as the former) Citrus (Basically Girl Friends 2.0) Majo to Houki to Kurobuchi Megane (One of my favorite yuri comedies out there. It has a proper ending and everything!) Husky and Medley (This is actually based on real life events. And what's more, the real people are still together to this date ) Kimi Koi Limit (A one volume long love triangle story) Ameiro Kouchakan Kandan (Really sweet, relaxing tale of two girls working together in a cafe. I was more moved by it than I initially expected) Lily Love (Not a manga, it's done by a Thai author but she puts a lot of love into the story and I think it's worth the read) Their Story [Also known as Tamen de Gushi] (A Chinese webcomic. Really adorable!) Blue Friend (This one's pretty depressing, but I really enjoy the atmosphere in it) Chouchou Nannan (Only 1 volume long, but it's my favorite Takemiya Jin story) Fragments of Love (Takemiya Jin's most popular yuri manga, I really like it as well) Anything else by Takemiya Jin (It might be clear by this point that I like this author and think her work is a gift from God) Sasameki Koto (A classic, albeit I don't think it's the greatest thing out there) Gokujou Drops (This one is both funny and serious. It's a nice read) Hatsukoi Shimai (Honestly I barely recall this one but I do remember it being okay) Renai Manga (More subtext based but really cute short read) Fragtime (Yuri + sci-fi!) Hana to Hoshi (This is more like a romcom, it's pretty cute) Bloom Into You [also known as 'Eventually I Will Become Yours'] (This one is a really recent manga but it shows a lot of promise) Shimaism (Hilarity of the highest magnitude) Yuri Mekuru Hibi (not completed, sadly, but super funny) Virgins' Empire (This is more of an ecchi series but it's still yuri so) New Game (Again a lot of subtext more than anything. It's getting an anime adaptation next season!) 15-sai (Very interesting older girl x younger girl romance, takes itself seriously) Futaribeya (Also a very recent manga but really adorable!) Kobayashi-san chi no Maid Dragon (Maids + Yuri + Dragons = This thing) Sweet Magic Syndrome (Subtext based, but this one is more out there. Naruto is actually a really good story, but it's not delivered well in its anime form because of all the filler.
Imho anybody is better off reading the manga.

I agree with maef, trying to justify H is really hard and most of the time it just goes around in circles, and why do you need to try to justify it anyway? You can just straight up admit you want H for the faps. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, everyone has sexual drive for different things (I'm sorry if I offend anyone that feels so strongly about hating hentai that they consider themselves asexual) and that is perfectly fine. You can say you think H adds to the plot and that you sometimes find some h-scenes romantic and whatnot, that's fine too. They are still at the end of the day h-scenes and everyone sees them differently.
 
For those that don't like H. Skip the h-scenes, almost every single VN has a skip button.
If more VNs added the "remove h-content" button, that'd be even greater.
You'll still get your story in all its glory and you won't have to look at things you don't like.
If you like h-scenes then enjoy the entirety of it.
Is this such a hard thing to do?
 
The industry doesn't need to change anything, they're trying to target more people, even if some/most of those people just want to fap to something, what matters is they are costumers that buy the product and that supports the creators regardless of the intentions.
Is that a little lazy/cheap? Perhaps, but it's not going to change in the near future and the fact is the story is still going to be there if you want to read it, just don't look at the h aspect of it, plain and simple.
 
I won't deny some vns do utilize h-scenes in a better way like Katawa Shoujo or Saya no Uta but you know most of them are just there for fanservice, that's a fact.
 
All this discussion about trying to justify h-scenes and calling people who enjoy them perverts is beyond the point in my opinion.
 
You like something that's different than what someone else likes? So what? We have the ability to think on a subjective level. You're never going to agree on the same aspects. And this whole morality thing is the same, everyone has different morals, nothing new to see here.

Started reading th No Game No Life novels I just received this week. They're super fun and I almost finished volume 1 in a day. I'm going to be super depressed when I finish all 4 currently released volumes and have to wait for the 5th to be out in October.

Dracu-Riot! Completion Project
Project Info:
As i said in a previous post, if the Dracu-Riot scripts were released, I will translate Miu's route, and that's exactly what I'm announcing in this thread.
But I'm not alone in this crusade, I've partnered with the wonderful people at The Oxford Comma is Superior Subs so we can deliver the best possible final product and lay the Dracu-Riot memes to rest. We also got several people from the Fuwanovel community to help speed up things even more.
How is the project going to go down, you ask. Well you can read this post if you want detailed info, but the tl;dr version is that we are aiming to release multiple patches.
The first patch aims to translate the remainder of Miu's route as well as any remaining untranslated content (images, menus, etc.) with complete editing to polish the current patch.
We are going to try and release this in about 2 months, if everything goes according to plan.
The second patch is meant to be more heavily translation checked as that's when Fiddle has enough free time to go over the whole game.
There is no ETA for this second patch.
This doesn't mean the first patch will be terrible, we will of course strive for a good product, but we would still like to inform you of our schedule. If we waited for Fiddle to be completely free, it would take much more time to release Miu's route, and so we've decided to do it this way.

Why not just make a Miu partial patch, why do you want to go over the whole game?
There are actually 3 main reasons for this:
The first and biggest one is that Insem's patch only works with the physical version of Dracu-Riot! which is very hard to get in the West and we want to make a new patch that works on both the physical and digital versions of the game, this way people can purchase the digital version and patch it, thus supporting Yuzusoft. The second one is that we want to americanize the writing style as well as make sure everything is edited properly, because Insem didn't have time to finish the whole thing. The last one is translation checking. Although we don't doubt Insem's abilities, we really want to try and make sure the translation is accurate. We also want to include translation notes in the game. Only 2 months? That seems way too fast.
2 months is indeed fast, if we were translating the entire game, but we're actually only translating about 4,000 lines and we're splitting those lines between two main translators, this will hopefully make that 2 month deadline possible.
Please do note we will not jeopardize translation quality for the sake of reaching the deadline. If we can not make it in time, we will delay the release until we're satisfied with the end result.
Will the translation have memes?
Yes, but only the dankest ones.

Good to know. I still prefer individual volumes but there's really no other option either way. I guess it's just because I'm not used to the omnibus format.
Also yes, of course it would be worth it either way, Morinaga Milk makes god tier yuri stories. I am proud to say Girl Friends is the main reason I even got into manga as a medium, and ordering these 2 volumes is sorta symbolic.
