Yeah, uh, from what I can understand/have been told it's selling a hilarious amount on steam, so... well, not much to say.
 
You should make a Briah/Atziluth (whichever you prefer) style chant with the 渇望 of "I wish all the world to know of Sakura Spirit" in honor of Dies being delayed by your shenanigans.

Yeah that's one problem I had with it, it just ended abruptly (and never adapted more of the novels I'm assuming.)

I don't, actually. It usually takes me ages to finish VNs because I'm a gamer and tend to be distracted by my Steam library or the abundance of handhelds/games I have.
 
But usually I just sit my ass down and read until I'm done, even if it takes weeks/months. I do enjoy sort of "living with the characters" so to speak, so I don't mind a VN taking months to read.

If it makes you feel any better if you can read Chapter 1 you'll be fine with the rest of the game, while the writing doesn't get any easier, it won't get *much* harder, either, afaik. Infodumps, Tsurugi battles and politics will always be there.
 
@ what you wrote in the spoiler: well he's kinda on the cover/boxart so not much of a spoiler at all. The narration's point of view will change to other characters from time to time.

I'm happy to see someone else appreciating this game as much as I do! It was one of my favorites of last year but it really seems to split readers. Many people consider it meh or even outright bad.

So I thought I would go for Aoi's route in totono and... and... I see how it is now. I see what the VN is about now.... Oh god. That ending I thought was sweet before? I hate it now. So much. It was turned inside out so easily, and I've seen it so many times... ugh. It's safe to say I'm stuck now - though I couldn't stop laughing at that secret (?) scene after the credits, that might've broken the 4th wall more than anything else in that VN so far, and that's quite something.
 
EDIT: Finally found the choice I overlooked, how did I forget that? What continued after that though... that's it. This VN is already 10/10 from me, unless it gets really horrible from here. This is too good, seriously. Everyone who likes VNs should play this, it's pure genius.

Ah shucks lol. Ya know, I go on your blog every once in awhile. You've got some good posts my friend.

Probably Baldr Sky, but after finishing Dies Irae I can see myself wanting to take a break from superlong VNs. I have both the new Ace Attorney and Virtue's Last Reward for 3DS still unplayed so I might take a crack at those.

If what little I've read of Senshinkan's trial is any indication then yes, if you found that difficult then Dies will also be difficult, most likely.
