The only excuse that I can find was that he starred in the Kingdom Hearts series. Other than that there shouldn't be any reason to put him in the game.I'm not disappointed or anything but I just can't find the reason for it. I especially hope this means we might get Sephiroth at some point if only just for the novelty of having a match where he's teamed up with Ganondorf and Bowser against their respective heroic foils. Square Enix isn't particularly exclusive to any one company and they have released some stuff for Nintendo consoles in the past. In a couple months, SE will be releasing an FF title for the 3DS (Source: http://na.square-enix.com/us/games/final-fantasy-explorers). I'm not sure if that date is for American release or whether or not it's already out in Japan, but that's beside the point anyways. But hey, I'm hyped. Not so much for Cloud, but for the possibility of Zach or Sephiroth being added to the game. Maybe they'll announce when Cloud will be downloadable and for how much. I hope they will reveal other playable characters like Isaac or Professor Layton!
