Jumbo lasted 5 minutes as opposed to an hour. Served little purpose correct, but because it didn't happen often, it didnt bug me. If the VN was another 2-3 hours long, I likely would have begun to criticize its length in terms of its actual story content. I mean, I did mention that when the relationship started, everything did start dragging along.  
 
Edit: Read your take on it, and I don't necessarily disagree with you. I just have a different way of looking at the VNs, and try to look at the picture as a whole. I'm sure I could find things to criticize in this one for days, but first and foremost, I want to describe why I found something enjoyable, or why I found something boring. Looking at the actual writing on a line for line basis is something that does not help me describe my enjoyment of a VN, unless things are so bad it detracts from said enjoyment. I enjoyed Highway Blossoms, so I am far more willing to forgive some flaws, and just flat out miss others.

The difference is that Sekai Project relies on Kickstarter.  Having a large backlog makes backers uneasy.  The more projects going at the same time, the greater the loss to backers if Sekai Project suddenly folds.  A growing cascade of crowdfunding campaigns suggests reckless expansion, or worse, starting new projects to fund previous ones (a.k.a., a pyramid scheme).  Finally, too many simultaneous projects could stress the organizational apparatus overseeing all of them, resulting in lack of proper oversight and quality control.  These are all serious concerns.
MangaGamer is established, experienced, and boasts a fast-paced release schedule AND the quality control to back it up.  Not to mention that if they suddenly collapse, backers won't be left with the tab.

More like, if you don't play it now, you probably won't enjoy it as much.
KS makes for a great starter VN for some reason I don't really understand, but when you get people who read a significant amount of VNs before that try it out, the majority of them isn't particularly impressed, me included.
It's just a pretty competent charage.

Seriously though, he's a grown man and the CEO of his company. I can't comprehend what caused him to behave that way out in the open regarding his company's business. Do it behind close doors, quickly, and settle the matter. If it requires legal, then bring them in and discuss it between legal. This is ridiculous to me.
Why would you go on twitter and say "Let's talk in public what do you have to hide?". Why talk in public in the first place? . It's embarrassing for the company as a whole I think. I do understand that it's extremely frustrating to deal with a situation like this but you're the freaking CEO, handle it or hire someone to handle it for you [lawyer].

Wow, I'm really 2 months away from being a two-year member. I usually forget how long I've been here until I look it up and think "damn, I'm way too old for this anime nonsense."
But here we are: 1000 likes. As some of you might know by now, I don't care much about post counts so I waited to get a juicy like number to make this kind of thread. And it does seem as if I am entertaining you guys, looking at my Post/Like difference (the internal mechanics of our OT forum are obviously completely unrelated). I liked Kindred Spirits a lot. It's a pretty simple story but sometimes that's exactly what you need. I've seen barely any discussion on it here. Anyone play it yet? What did you think of it?

Yeah and the people that like Sakura games, unironically, are the very same type of people that I have very strong dislike for in the VN community. I fail to understand how barely finished, barely edited, and in some cases, barely readable, weeb pandering VNs with barebones storylines, and the exact same art used over and over without an ounce of creativity, keeps selling so well when nearly everything I see about the games is negative or a joke. 
 
So yes, I stand by what I said. The people who like Sakura games are,in my most humble of humble opinions, weeb trash who are encouraging the stagnation of an already growing uncreative OELVN industry. Now if I was writing a review right now, I'd be much nicer and professional about it. But I'm not, so I'm not filtering myself, nor looking at it from a critical perspective. I personally feel that these games are piles of dog shit. Nothing would pelase me more than to see  Winged Cloud go out of business OR Liberty actually write something halfway decent and even mildly creative. He ought to have the money at this point to branch out slightly and try something not revolving around tits. Or maybe even finish Guardians Spell?  Remember that? The Kickstarter they ran, and then never finished the VN promised? Yeah, Winged Cloud is trash.

Wow, that stellar lineup makes me want to pass out on the spot from boredom. Hoshizora is a decent title, but a 18+ release will probably be another year (if at all) after the all-ages release. I'm not even going to comment on Wing Cloud's newest game, it would be like commenting on the tide coming back in. KaraKara certainly has cute artwork, but I highly doubt anything else will come from it. Not to mention that the fact that it is on Indiego is pretty sketchy.
  I'm completely done with Sekai Project as a company that I look forward to purchasing products from. They are now on the same shit shelf with EA, meaning I only pay attention to them so I can be entertained by how shit-blistering bad they are at handling things.

I want to see an English team work on something completely new from popular companies (i.e. = Irotoridori, not HNM). Moege drives the VN market in Japan as of the past 4-5 years, and Princess E. is a step in the right direction, but in all honesty is the only high quality, length driven moege that has ever been released from all 3 major localization companies since they started. Even if you don't like the genre, seeing games from AAA companies in the VN industry that already had fan translation associated with them bothers me.
People always say how the English teams get rights to certain AAA companies games (i.e. = Favorite, Front Wing), but do you ever see them translating something new when that happens? Nope.
