Well, there a not really rules that establish bounds to a Introduction thread, it's a thread to welcome the newcomer, and we're doing that by gifting him lolis.

A lolicon can be a pedophile though, there are people that can't distinguish reality from fiction. That's when issues begin.
In fact there are pedophiles that turn to 2D to release their sexual urges as they understand what they like is wrong and they don't want to suffer criminal punishment.
See this is why there's so much controversy. Yes most lolicons like 2D only and they don't want anything to do with underaged girls, but there are also those who will go that far and that raises serious questions on wether or not it's okay to portray underaged girls in 2D and wether that affects people's preferences.

Of course the answer to this is, there is currently no scientifical evidence that shows that people who do go for real underaged girls were driven to it by the lolicon genre. But you know people will keep trying to bring the genre down regardless. In fact i'd say the main reason lolis are still allowed in these mediums is because it brings money.

I do hope that people realize there shouldn't be any censorship in the 2D world ever and that those who can't distinguish reality from fiction are not like that because of lolis. Pedophilia is a desease, you don't develop pedophilia through watching 2D girls, period.

Lolis for the "cute is justice!" factor? Yes. Lolis are some of the most adorable things on the face of the planet. That's great. Going around having sex with children? Ehh, not so great. I think it's been said enough that 2D = fine. 

I believe most "loli-lovers" find 2D lolis to be extremely cute. I would agree. But I'm also sure most of them don't actually want to go around and have sex with children. I'd like to believe people can distinguish fantasy from reality. >_>

To be honest with you, I don't want VNs to be popular in the West. I like to be unique and know of something amazing that few know about. Besides, western governments would probably censor everything to the core. I'm happy with the way things are right now.
