You could say that the Steampunk series is at least partially aimed at women.
Really though, the "otome game" label is for heavily romance-dominated stories aimed almost exclusively at women.

    A) MC is female
    B) Story is about romancing dudes
If the VN doesn't have both, it's not otome.

Alright, so we dropped the "one hour per day" and replaced it with something more flexible.
We come from the SciADV fan community. Our image editor, Cypert, worked on the Spanish translation of STEINS;GATE (which was done in under a year), through port lead developer SomeAnon we're friends with the Russian translators of STEINS;GATE (which took about a year too), and TLC SnowedEarth is currently working on an unannounced medium-length VN translation project (which started in early October and is predicted to finish next August). These two aren't his first projects either.
We don't have precise numbers for the size of the text original to Noah yet. But indeed, the larger part of the script was in the original Chaos;Head and is already translated. TLWiki lists 24k lines for C;H, 32k lines for Noah (though keep in mind there are changed lines too). So yeah, we think "under a year" is a quite realistic target.
The routes are proper routes, with flags to set and changed scenes throughout the VN - it's similar to how STEINS;GATE changes depending on how close you get with Kurisu. The biggest differences are the endings, of course, but unlike S;G they're not the only differences.

Guys can we at least avoid throwing personal insults at dovac? Criticizing his job decisions is one thing (although I disagree with circlejerking over it but alas), but name calling is something I'd like to avoid seeing. Dovac is a real human being, please keep that in mind before commenting.

Correctamundo.  pabloc has said multiple times that his patch will not support the Steam version, as he doesn't want to fix their mistakes for them.  The only version that the patch will work with is the original Japanese release.  Don't buy the Steam release if you plan to read the re-translation, as you'll be wasting your money.

Chaos;Head Noah (stylized as ChäoS;HEAd NoAH) is an updated rerelease of Chaos;Head, a 2008 visual novel by Nitro+ and 5pb. This version includes six new endings that were not present in the original; one for every main heroine. However, while the original version was only available on PC, the updated version was available on practically every platform but PC.
We at the Committee of Zero intend to change that.
The original Chaos;Head was translated on TLWiki years ago. We intend to build on this work, but heavily revise it and edit it as to match our writing style. Please bear in mind that we are not associated with TLWiki's team in any way, and this project is not related to their own abandoned Noah port and translation.
    Staff
We are currently in need of:
A translator with some amount of past experience and the availability and diligence to make steady progress over a few months to a year. Our core Noah team consists of:
Engine Reimplementation for PC: SomeAnon, DrDaxxy Translator: [RECRUITING] TL Checker: SnowedEarth Editor: Kumin, Discontinuous Qualia CG Editor: Cypert Keep in mind that this list does not include everyone in the Committee of Zero. We have many members, including those who have done... zero work.
    Progress
At the moment, not much work on the translation itself has been done. We've set up the basic workflow and are putting together an organization system, so once we finish our current side project, we should be all set and ready to jump on translation work no later than the start of the new year (assuming we find a translator by then).
However, what this project currently lacks in translation work, it makes up for in porting work. Our technical team is building a complete reimplementation for PC of the N2System engine that the Xbox version of Noah runs on, and we've made substantial progress. Right now, the engine is capable of reading and interpreting the game's scripts (though it currently only displays backgrounds and plays in-game audio - nothing to show off yet).
    Notes
By the way, SciADV fans may be interested to hear that we recently released a patch for the Steam version of STEINS;GATE fixing many of that version's shortcomings. We don't feel this warrants a Fuwa thread on its own, but we wanted to mention it.
The port will likely be finished before the translation, and once that happens, we plan to release it, so Japanese speakers can read the VN on PC.
If you're interested, and think you can help, then aside from this thread and my PMs, the best places to contact us are via e-mail at [email protected] or our Discord.

Even this isn't quite 100% cut and dried.  Sure, right now, it's obvious: there's no ero version to be censored.  But that doesn't mean they can't have censored anything.  All censorship requires is that content be suppressed because some might find it objectionable.  MoeNovel is deliberately choosing not to bring over adults-only titles for exactly that reason, probably for marketing reasons.
If it turns out that this game gets a Japanese release, especially if that Japanese release happens almost at the same time as the US release, and that Japanese version is 18+, it will be fairly reasonable to presume the title was conceived with the dual-release in mind, and that therefore the content was censored from the Western release.  I believe others in this thread have already raised that possibility.
Hell, it wouldn't be wrong, necessarily, to claim that this game was censored even if that doesn't happen.  Pulltop makes eroge.  It seems like a pretty reasonable assumption that a game like this probably would have had ero-scenes if it were intended for the Japanese market.  Pulltop chose not to even write the ero-scenes in the first place, where otherwise they probably would have, to avoid controversy from objectionable content.  In the courts, they call this a chilling effect.  It would be extremist, but usually even extremist positions make sense and are defensible from a certain point of view.

Gotta agree with Tiag and Decay, the text in the screenshots looks acceptable, and there are even hints that they actually know what they're doing.
It's kind of a shame the game itself looks like drivel.
FYI, calling this "censored" when it hasn't been subjected to any form of official censorship and is, so far as we know, the only version of the game to exist, makes you sound like a crazy person.

Nandemonai reacted to Decay in How's Dracu-Riot compared to Noble Works?
I think it's funnier, for starters. I also find most of the characters more interesting. These are pretty subjective aspects that are difficult to go into deeper detail on. The characters are simply much more off-beat and there's a greater reliance on amusing banter, something they pull off decently well.
They also do a much better job at weaving in various story aspects. Now, this is still not a story-heavy game by a long shot, but the common route actually has its own mildly eventful narrative. NW's narrative was much more uneventful in comparison, with stuff happening only at the beginning and end of the common route. The heroine routes also tend to be at least a little bit more eventful than NW's, although they're still heavily character-driven. Overall, I think they accomplished a much more compelling mix of story and character drama throughout the game, one that's close to ideal for a moege.

little update. the prologue patch is being worked on still. got some editors and proofreaders on that and all the translation that needs to be done is done with the prologue. i sadly have not made much progress. i dont know what to say really. i feel an apology isnt enough. theres just a lot going on for me from financial to personal stuff. my mother is gonna need surgery on thanksgiving day. for those who dont know thats on the 23rd of this month and ive learned this like 2 months ago and also learned that the surgery is very risky because of her age, weight, diabetes, blood pressure. shes had plenty of surgeries in the past but that was when she was much younger. at the time i didnt think it was that big of a deal since shes had surgery before but then we got word from the doctor about all the complications. at first we there was some fear taht she might not have the surgery because of all the factors i mentioned earlier. luckily she passed the tests she needed to and can get the surgery. her left shoulder and some of her neck has just been destroyed by her arthritis and she needs to have it replaced before theres an infection.

so yeah, i know some will think its unnecessary but i am truly sorry. i do love this vn and i do want to get it out there for all of you to read.

To be honest, I've been waiting for this so long, but there's a number of questions MG still failed to answer. My biggest concern is with the art - 960x544 isn't really a lot, even by older standards. I have no idea, what route they went in, since I didn't had a chance to see the game yet, but 960x544 art assets do not look that good on 720p, not to mention 1080p and higher resolutions. Not everyone likes to play their games windowed, either. It's even more questionable MG doesn't provide a DEMO, nor a gameplay preview of sorts; we're literally in the dark & back to early 2000's, where playing the game fullscreen resulted in gloriously pixel-artsy graphics no one complained about, because those were the early 2000's. They are not anymore, though.
TL&DR Such low resolution butchers the game's art, which is tremendously good.
I've seen a lot of people complaining about the lack of h-content. From what I know, it's been removed for a reason, mostly because Vita does not allow 18+ content. The doujin version had two h-scenes or so, they actually progress the story and bear significance towards character development, but it's not like the all-ages remake removes it completely; supposedly it's implied, not shown and a lot of the dialogue has been made into the story in one way or another. In other words, it was rewritten to fit the all-ages version, but carry the original meaning.
Will they release an 18+ patch? Doubtful, hence the Vita remake didn't took it into account, the game's missing the required assets, which would have to be specially made for the PC version. In the future? Maybe, but definitely not anytime soon. To be honest, we're not really missing much and the remake is far superior in regards to the original. It has gorgeous art and voice acting, story was rewritten and there's a lot of new content in. What else could you ask for? As much as I'm against game censorship, this isn't really a case and I can't understand people, who plan to deliberately drop it and cease their support just because of the very small portion of removed h-content.
    edit:
Regarding the art, I saw an ingame screenshot from the english release, played natively on a 1080p screen. Can't share, since it's NDA, but it doesn't look half-bad. A bit blurry, as far as it goes for 960x544 assets rescaled to match 1080p, might propably look better on smaller screens running native 720p. Preety basic rescaling. I guess it's fine, considering they propably couldn't obtain high-res assets eitherway. At least, I can live with that.

I have to agree, and I'm pretty far on the "release the 18+ version" side of things.  This is the kind of 18-plus to all-ages transition that I don't have a problem with.  (The upcoming localization of Dies Irae is the same way.)  It doesn't mangle the story, there isn't much being cut anyway, and it's a better version all around.
The problem is I have a very hard time trusting companies that say this about their own releases, since obviously nobody is going to say that they had to undermine the writers' vision in order to make money (whether it's true or not).

I just finished the common route but I feel like the setting is somewhat unrealistic. So apparently, vampires are being discriminated against, which is fine and all, but shouldn't only government members or something know about their existence? I didn't see too many government imposed restrictions so I wouldn't get why the vampires feel like they're being discriminated against, since the PUBLIC is unaware of their existence. How is one supposed to tell a vampire from a human, if they didn't know about vampires in the first place? If a vampire went to a real estate agent meant for humans, the realtor has to have knowledge of the vampires if the realtor was to reject the vampire asking for housing (based on their ID and mark or something). If that's the case, this means that quite a number of people would have to be in the know which leads me to the next part.
You'd think that there would be a few vampires who are "rebellious" and start chaos or something and civilians would have noticed and maybe some pictures get taken and it would have gone viral on the Internet with no way for the government to stop it. Moreover, you'd expect some people in the know to leak out this information and from there, to the public. In Tokyo Ghoul (somewhat similar setting), the humans are aware and the government is trying to (rightfully) exterminate them as well. That to me, is a much more realistic setting than the one Dracu-Riot has. Keeping the majority of vampires on an island is just asking for a rebellion.
Basically, this "discrimination" and the fact that there are civilians with no idea that there are vampires are very contradictory in my opinion. Why would the government hire people who would discriminate against vampires if they wanted co-existence in the first place? Otherwise, they would have just exterminated them. Or is the government actually somewhat scared of vampires and don't want to wage war against them? In that case, the discrimination shouldn't be happening anyway.
Sorry if my thoughts aren't organized well; I was just somewhat exasperated at this poor storytelling. Maybe there's a huge backstory about all this and vampires and humans have gone to war before but a peace treaty was signed or something and a worldwide memory wipe occurred thanks to one vampire's power or something. Then maybe all this would make sense.
tl;dr - If there were actually vampires in reality, there's probably zero chance that the setting in this story happens.

Don't you have something better to do with your time? It's not Star Wars and you are not Lucas. Just leave the series as it is and enjoy it for what it is. Not trying to defend the game but you're going way too far with this. Uchikoshi did what he could with what he had available. It's not perfect but he tried his best. At least we got a conclusion to the trilogy. It could have been done better but why bother with it now, if you love the games, cool. If you hate the game that's cool too.
