Welcome to this week VNTS Review and as for this week of course our focus here would be obviously Ginharu, in which it's a very nice surprise from Tsurezure when they decided to translate it along with the fact that they already released common route patch. Although other than Ginharu we also have some interesting updates, such as Summer Pocket official localization by KEY along with some updates from both of Sol Press and Mangagamer. Let's see what I can write for this week as well.

For this week title, I decided to just using 'Massacre the Fighter' from Tsujidou. For the explanation in regard of Massacre it was Maki's Red Baron, and for 'The Hooligan' part I use that from Comyu it was in regard of there's a character who had that nickname and the character himself was have the same seiyuu as Maki - the title was fitting for Maki anyway since she was considered as delinquent, and hooligan was the synonym for delinquent. This time I'd must admit that I'd had hard time to find fitting title for this week, so since there's a VN with post war setting and another VN with Yoake (Meaning Dawn in Japan) word release, I'd decided to use poetic word 'Dawn After the War'.

As for this week, well we have a very predictable delay from Sol Press in regard of Kimiaogi which to say was not a good news here along with Nine 2 release and some updates from fan translation. Visual Novel Translation Status (12/03/2017)
As for the title, it was based on the 'Mendan' part from Sansha Mendan which translated as 'interview', and the Alice Bedford part was because we had Newton VN Kickstarter (KS) with her as the main heroine - the blonde girl who resembled Michiru from Grisaia with the green eyes and the one who had Isaac Newton name in that VN. Foreword - I'm glad that after two weeks absence we finally have proper VNTS, so here's my review for this week VNTS.

As for the title, it was obviously meant to parodying the old Rance RPG 'Kichikuou Rance' only that instead of Rance I using Chihaya, because the default name for Eiyuu Senki's MC was Chihaya. I admit that the title here is pretty ridiculous considering that we didn't have the prequel or the sequel planned there lol. For the title, since we have both of Venus Blood Frontier starting the KS and White Album 2 sudden partial patch release at this week,
Seeing that nowadays we have many translated VNs, I figure that it would be nice if I can write about some VNs that was translated in the past (Before 2015) because after all there's no present without the past. Also it's always interesting to see on how much the translated VNs did develop in the past and how we'll compared it with the present, so here's my list for translated VNs at 2009. The rules is still the same in that there'll be no BL, otome, fandisc, and nukige VNs here.

This week we had Kuroinu Chapter 2 release along with the announcement in regard of Newton to Ringo no Ki (I'll call it Newton VN), and because of that I make the title as a derivative version of Detective Conan movie here which had some callback to London (The Phantom of Baker Street) in regard of the real Isaac Newton who lived in London. I'm sure that you realized that I parodied Gochiusa franchise, only that I changed Usagi' into 'Neko' because we have Nekopara 4 released few days ago and obviously Nekopara 4 here wouldn't deal with rabbit (Translation Note: Usagi mean rabbit). Speaking of Gochiusa Sol Press did manage to license the manga version of it, although looking from their recent performance I understand if the people have doubt on Sol Press. After 2010, the next year is 2011 so obviously I'll cover 2011 releases. As for this year, it's still more calm here (Ixrec's debacle with Mangagamer in regard of age and Liar-soft aside) although there's a lot of very good VNs here so it's another interesting years (I remember that when I idly browse TLWiki and suddenly find out that Little Busters patch was released, and back then it's one of highly anticipated VN). The rule is still the same in that there'll be no nukige, BL, and otome here.
Visual Novel Translation Status (07/15/2017)
The reason for the title was because we had image header from Subahibi, and we had Subahibi giving the Germany title as well (Usual Frontwing, like French at Grisaia), and since we had Alice allusion at Subahibi I thought that if I used Germany title of 'Alice in Wonderland' it would be fitting (I apologize if any Germany people get upset here), only that instead of Alice I'll using 'Hasaki' because the girl in image header was Hasaki from Subahi

But before that, let me say this week we had some announcement from Sekai and usual progress from both of Mangagamer and fan translation, so overall I think this is quite nice week here albeit with no complete English translated language VN release (Other than quite strange NTR trap nukige here).

For the title, I just combined it from the release both of nukige 'Sweet Young Bride' and otome game 'Hakuouki' PSV version so we got 'Sweet Young Shinsengumi' as the title.
