Eclipsed
PC Gamers, how do you deal with having your My Documents folder jammed pack and looking ugly with the plethora of save folders from your various games? Do you just live with it or do you try to organize?
Deep Blue
I live with it (And inside My Games folder I have like 30 more ) Eclipsed
Flutterz
I don't manually save anything into My Documents, so I don't really care that it's full of game saves.
Fiddle
I'll get around to organizing things when somebody has to look through my documents for something and sees something like "お兄ちゃん、右手の使用を禁止します!"
Eclipsed
Even worse is when they put saves into AppData -> Local -> Roaming or whatever CLuBLioN
Nosebleed
I look away and pretend it doesn't exist. Eclipsed and CLuBLioN
zoom909
Why would saved game data go under My Documents when they aren't documents? They belong in the game's own folder.
Eclipsed
^I wish games actually did that..
sub-zer0
I don't worry about such trivial things, I usually don't even know where my game data is saved...it all works for me until I need to actually use a save data, say I want to keep progress for (they usually don't delete your save file even if you uninstall a game) or want to fix a corrupt save file , I will then Google that specific game and where the save data is located for that game. Thunderbro
I never use my documents anyways, because I save everything elsewhere. I could care less what gets saved in there.
EldritchCherub
I put all my saves in another folder in a flash drive so I don't have to worry about cluttering my desktop's innards or worry about it all disappearing into oblivion if my computer decides for some reason that it wants to die off on me. So, in this case no option to vote for, cause I circumvented the hell out of these multiplying save files.
Satsuki
Look even worse than my messy room. Idc though
Nayleen
I don't manually save anything into My Documents, so I don't really care that it's full of game saves. The only sane way to deal with it apart from moving the folders and symlinking them back, which doesn't resolve the visual clutter. Nowadays I don't really care much about it anymore. Snowtsuku
I arrange them. I have other files and navigating through them is a pain with the saves.
Kosakyun
I have, like, 70 VNs and only have, like, 4 - 5 save data folders of the VNs in My Documents. I try to put them all inside the game directory. I have no idea regarding Steam games.
