  1. Thanks to you three. Busy in the garden, having a wonderful May. Much love back at you all.
  2. Here you go, sweetie, @MaggieROBOT. Thanks again to everyone for joining us in this competition. I don't think we'll be doing another, but we loved getting to know all your favorite characters. So much love! And you can pick up the file from: http://media.arosiathegame.com/FuwaPair_1920x1080.png
  3. She's started. I got to see her sketch this morning. Just a couple more days!
  4. I wanted to drop by and leave a quick update. When we set the contest up a month ago--over a month ago!--we were in a very different place. We were looking for some exposure, and some eyeballs, and we had a lot more free time. Since then, we've shifted the hook of our game from erotic/voiced to community-developed, and we're streaming (and creating) 9 hours a day, 7 days a week! Our poor artist, Ivy, has not had a lot of time to breathe, so it's been challenging to find time to draw this out. I spoke with her this morning, and we settled on putting some time aside each day after stream so she can get this done. You can expect your prize by May 5th at the latest, @MaggieROBOT; it'll probably be a day or two earlier, even. Thanks for being so patient with us, and so much love to you all!
  5. First, we want to say thank you to everyone who entered the contest. We're grateful that you chose to share with us! We did the drawing on our twitch stream, and the winner was: @MaggieROBOT with Cardia from Code Realize and Van Helsing (as a couple). I want you to know that Miss Ivy is incredibly excited to draw these two together! Congratulations, love! And here is a clip of the drawing: https://clips-media-assets.twitch.tv/223655709.mp4#t=13.417433
  6. Today is the last day to post. We'll pick a winner in the next day or two on stream. Ivy will do the drawing over the next couple weeks during stream (so you can watch if you're interested).
  7. So, lots of updates. We stream 7 days a week, 11 hours a day now. That's a lot of hours and we're getting a lot done! Our stream has become a giant game, filled with stories and minigames, and we're creating a world collaboratively with our viewers. We're creating new game art every day, and we're also building up a vibrant community and audience.
  8. Two days left for this. We'll pick/clip the winner on stream, and Ivy will work on the winner's couple online, so you can keep an eye on things as well, if you'd like!
  9. Thanks for coming and visiting us @r0xm2n. Blue-haired waifus!
  10. Absolutely! Thank you for this. 9 days left! And, we have so much news to share about our game; it's undergoing a pretty big change. We've started streaming every day, and it has exploded for us. We have a pretty big community going atm, and they've been taking all of our time lately. When we do pick a winner, Ivy will be creating the piece on stream! You're welcome to follow along or ask any questions you'd like at: https://www.twitch.tv/arosiathegame

  13. Okay, guys, we're going to be opening up the queue for players for our free, Saturday game on Twitch. It will be relaxed and light-hearted. Just hanging out and having some simple D&D fun. The game is running Sat from 3PM-5PM; we'll be online and getting set up ~2:00-2:30PM; all times PST You can find more info out at: http://www.arosiathegame.com/quests/ The first four character concepts listed in #chat in our Play - Twitch D&D channel on our game Discord will have first shot at player slots. If people miss out on games, we'll !roll 100 to see who gets to pick it up (until they miss a game, etc.) If no one shows up, then we'll just run a game with the lovely @IvyFetish full of laughter (for me) and torment (for her); make sure you save her.
  14. So nice to meet you. Welcome! I'm sure I'll read a review by @Plk_Lesiak about one your VNs soon enough. I can't keep up with him at all! This is a great community. Have fun. <3
  15. Welcome, love. This is a fantastic community, and I know you're going to love it here. I can't wait to see your game. It sounds super cute and sweet!
  16. That was an interesting interview. The one thing I really enjoyed about it was JM's description of doing audio work (esp. editing) for voice acting. It is literally the bane of my existence, and the number one task in terms of time/resources needed. I've learned to love it, but it is far more effort than I expected it would be; especially if done well.
  17. Okay, I read the review before the interview!
  18. I think Fuwa is a nice alternative to some other places. I enjoy it here quite a bit. So, from my perspective, out of all the VN-related sites on the internet, Fuwa is doing a better job than anyone else at making VNs attractive to me. And that's in it's current state, even! I'm very big on not depressing myself needlessly. If any one person feels like Fuwa isn't living up to your standards, I would say that you should take the initiative to start fixing whatever problems you see. Otherwise, you don't really care very much about the problems.
  19. I think that it's fine as long as the gameplay is so compelling/enjoyable that it doesn't make the VN worse for it. That's a pretty high bar to set, however, and I would say most VNs would be better off if they cut their gameplay mechanisms out. It's better to do one thing extremely well, rather than do many things just okay.
  20. As everyone has said before me, welcome sweetie!
