  1. Currently watching Noragami Aragato. Will watch Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso once I finish the manga and Isekai Quartet + Attack on Titan Season 3 Part 2 once both finish airing.
  2. I don't how it is for other people, but for me "passive reading" means that I spend less than an hour of my time (per day) reading a VN. Anything more than that would fall under "active reading".
  3. Just finished Zanmataisei Demonbane a while ago and I have to say it's a quite an interesting read. A chuunige with mechs is something that you don't see everyday, and for a VN from Nitroplus, it sure has a fair share of humour. Not too many flaws to point out, but Fight scenes were okay, humour was decent and pacing was alright. I liked all routes equally, so I can't really choose a favourite. Final rating: 8.2/10.
  4. I'm technically still reading Demonbane, but I will give it a B for now. "Didn't read" includes most of the VNs, so I didn't show it in the screenshot.
  5. The one that isn't a spoiler: - Steins Gate The ones that are spoilers: Not a VN, but All You Need is Kill is also another piece of work involving time-loops.
  6. 1. Muv Luv & Muv Luv Alternative 2. Grisaia 3. Fate Stay Night 4. Tsukihime 5. Ever17 6. G-senjou no Maou 7. Zero Escape (999 and VLR) 8. Ace Attorney 9. Umineko 10. Higurashi 11. Steins Gate 12. Clannad 13. House in Fata Morgana
  7. Clannad: Sunohara End Grisaia no Kajitsu: Makina's and Michuru's English lesson Fate Hollow Ataraxia: Majikoi has a ton of funny scenes, but unfortunately I don't have any screenshots or videos to show. Rewrite too, especially the Yoshino one.
  8. Just watch the anime. Even without the background stories, Angel Beats is still pretty good
  9. Finally completed Ef. While the continuously shifting perspectives made it rather difficult for me to root for a specific relationship, I quite liked the relationship between Amamiya Yuuko and Himura Yuu. I was spoiled by but that didn't stop me from enjoying the story of Yuuko and Yuu. Well, that's as far as what I liked about Ef though, because I felt that the other relationships were kind of lacking as compared to Yuuko and Yuu. Overall, I'm gonna give it a 7.
  10. Alien Invasion: Muv Luv Alternative Robot uprising: None that I know of, sorry. Zombie Apocalypse: I walk among Zombies Not really a VN with alien invasion, but Saya no Uta has an alien heroine. Haven't read it (as it's untranslated), but Tokyo Necro seems cool. I've read the manga version of All You Need is Kill and watched Edge of Tomorrow; and I can safely say that while both are a bit similar, they are far from identical. The closest thing to Muv Luv is probably Pacific Rim, but even that is a Hollywood movie inspired by several mecha works (including MLA) such as Evangelion and Gundam.
  11. Yeah I didn't like DD's route too, but Cro's route is totally worth it. Miu's route was a downer though. Well, I only just started on Ef, so I can't really tell. The art is stunning though, just like Eden
  12. Welcome back! I finished Chrono Clock last month, and while I generally dislike SoL, I somewhat enjoyed reading it. All routes were okay, but I liked Michuru's route the most. While I would also recommend Subahibi, it's for a whole different reason altogether (mystery). I wouldn't say it's similar to Lucy at all ; it's more similar to Umineko. Can't comment on Himawari since I haven't read it. The most similar VN to Lucy is Planetarian, but you've already read it.
  13. It's an enforced route order so you can't do much about it. Bad ends are technically skippable, but you should still read through some of them, since some of the choices required for the normal/good ends are within some of the bad ends.
  14. Just completed Steins Gate Linear Bounded Phenogram. It contains 10 short stories, all of which were pretty interesting (especially the last one). Now that I've completed it, I kind of want to re-read the original by reading Steins Gate Elite to refresh my memory, but I guess I will (finally) start on Ef instead.
  15. Rewrite, followed by Tomoyo After. If it's anime only, then Charlotte.
  16. Isn't it Shibuya (instead of Tokyo)? Anyways, I hope you like it! It's probably one of the only few VNs which make full good use of the branching system and does it very effectively, unlike so many other VNs with arbitrary choices
  17. I used to play like 5-6 vns at one go, but now it's one at a time because I finish them faster this way
  18. Well, if that's your preference, then that's fine. It would be nice if you have a vndb list so that we don't recommend VNs which you have already read. Anyways, here are some all-ages VNs which I enjoyed: 1. Ever17 2. Zero Escape series (9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors, Virtue's Last Reward) 3. Rewrite 4. Ace Attorney series (but especially the third one, Trials and Tribulations) 5. Danganronpa series (Trigger Happy Havoc, Goodbye Despair, Killing Harmony) 6. Root Double
  19. I am pretty sure almost everyone in this forum has read at least an eroge. As for nukiges, I don't think there are actually that many who played (or at least discussed) here. I was once like you: I avoided eroges. But as I started to read more non-eroges, the number of VNs that I was able to read became significantly smaller. Almost half of the VNs I read are 18+, and that's not because I want to view 'those scenes'. Rather, it's because I would limit my reading options by avoiding them, since many visual novels are 18+ and some do not have an all-ages version (Saya no Uta for instance). As for the types of VNs I read frequently, it's almost everything except for nukige and moege.
