    2018 VNs

    I'm barely 18 yknow
  2. Are there any upcoming VNs (preferably in English) that are worth anticipating in 2018? I know about Steins Gate Elite and a couple of otomes made by Idea Factory which will be released in 2018 but I'm not really that much interested in those. Grisaia Phantom Trigger Vol. 4 has already been released so it's only a matter of time before I finish it. P.S Is Fatal Twelve any good?
  3. boo why are 9 of the 20 choices still not chosen why do I have such poor poll choices Edit: Lmao looks like I gotta reshuffle the 9 choices a bit
  4. well yes I will still continue reading, unless the h scenes are absolutely crucial to the plot, like THAT one scene in Muv Luv Alternative. If not, I would be fine without h scenes since I read vns only for the plot and characters
  5. lmao I knew the 'others' part would be the most voted but I didn't know it would be leading by such a huge margin I swear the number of poll choices needs to increase
  6. I just wanna know the demographics for the users of this site. Due to poll constraints, I can only add 20 choices to the poll so please don't kill me if your favorite happens to be not in the list. My favorite is the Muv Luv trilogy; what's yours?
  7. I will go for Clannad, but only Tomoyo's route and Kyou's route. Tomoyo After is a close second and Planetarian is third
  8. I like it. Although it really could have been better if the developers didn't lump all the interesting stuff towards the end of the answer arcs. There were plenty of slice of life in the game (especially in the question arcs) which really don't quite fit in a murder mystery but overall I'm still satisfied with the conclusion. So now that I'm finally done with Higurashi after months (yes, I took MONTHS since the question arcs were so uneventful that I had to keep stalling), I can finally start on Umineko (I've heard a lot of good stuff on Umineko so I'm anticipating).
  9. you are already playing subahibi even though you are quite new to VNs wow you have guts (or do you not know what lies ahead of you in the vn lol). Anyways, to answer your question, I recommend the Muv Luv series because not only is its final game (Muv Luv Alternative) the highest rated vn on vndb, it's also one of the most soul crushing and depressing (to date, it's the only vn I've cried to). If you want something a bit more light-hearted, I recommend the Grisaia series. It has a balance of funny and serious moments and Angelic Howl (Amane's route) in Fruit Of Grisaia is just incredible. I would also recommend Sharin no Kuni which is similar to Grisaia, but instead of focusing on characters like how Grisaia does, it focuses more on plot. Other recommendations: G senjou no maou, Ever17, Zero Escape, Danganronpa, Ace Attorney (especially Trials and Tribulations), Steins Gate I wanted to recommend Fate Stay Night but you said you didn't like magic :/
  10. Muv Luv Alternative. That VN is just downright devastating and depressing. I didn't even cry when I played Clannad but I bawled my eyes out on this one
  11. Muv Luv is love Muv Luv is life

  12. I'm technically not new here but since this is my first time in the forum for months, I'd like to greet everybody!
  13. There have been patches for both the Windows version and PSV version of the game but there isn't a PSP one so I'm wondering if the existing patches will be able to work on the PSP version?
  14. I am currently playing Clannad on rlvm on my Android phone and I find the skipping function in the game rather slow compared to other VNs. I know that there is a fast skip function by holding "Ctrl" on the keyboard but that is only for computers. I'd like to know a way to fast skip any text on rlvm on Android if it's possible. Any help is appreciated.
