Probably my favorite game tbh. Fighting Father G. is still one of my most memorable moments in the game, he was such a fun enemy while also teaching you how to play this game. He'd punish mistakes with a shit-ton of damage straight to your face (when he didn't outright kill you) but he also made mistakes that you could captalize upon to get some extra damage. The whole DLC is memorable as well, the first area for the boss mostly and the others for pretty much everything. Oh, I remember streaming when I first beat Father G., @Tay was watching even. Fun times despite the thing with the pig.  

What's your weapon setup so far? Did my first playthrough with the Saw Cleaver and the pistol, sometimes switching it up to the hammer for some annoying mobs that could get stun-locked in it.

Hello everyone!
I'm back from my vacation and I'll be resuming work on Nagisa's route soon enough. Not much has been made in the way of progress this time, but we are working on it. Progress has been slow, especially in the way of TLC. Also, I haven't started on the re-translation, I'll probably get to it after Nagisa's route. For exact numbers, do visit our progress tracker, though you'll probably only find around a 1% increase in numbers.
Well not much for today, just wanted to let everyone know we aren't dead yet. Till next week I suppose~

Hey! Been a while
Just wanted to make a quick little update and say that we are not dead Since basically every member on our team has at least 1 other project to work on + stuff to do IRL, progress isn't super fast, but we are all working when we have the time. Currently we are doing a second editing pass. I will try to make a status update once every month or so. Seeing as we are doing 2nd passes etc now, I can't really give a good % progress. I'll see what I can do about that for the next update.
Anyways, tl;dr, we aren't dead!

Yeah, uploading a few MB to Mediafire is totally no different than seeding a few GB torrent.
Except that's not a patch. That's distributing a pre-patched pirated version of the VN, and if anyone from our team thought this is a good idea, I'd advise them to refrain from breathing for an hour or two. ^^
Hey, nobody tells anyone to torrent pirated stuff. They can always get this.
Do YOU know what you are talking about? You do realize that copypasting files form one official English release into another might be a tiny little bit different than modifying contents of an official English release with ~2GB of hacked bits of modified Japanese files? Not to mention that those two VNs have different engines and are integrated with Steam in a different way. That's comparing apples to... not even oranges, but potatoes.
That aside, like I said earlier - I just want to finish the patch for the JP version and move on, so that's the top priority. If you somehow convince MeruP to make a Steam patch - fine (Shaun is doing a great job in that regard XD). If you make one yourself - fine. I don't care.
As for TL-progress, 6/10 scripts from Amane's route are done - that's around 55% (H-scenes are slowing me down, because my tolerance for vanilla stuff is quite limited... ).

That is not intended behaviour. Could you explain in more detail how you came across this issue?

So, as it turns out, a backup I initiated just a bit ago triggered a forums upgrade. Surprise? Anyway, I'm posting this really quickly to acknowledge that the world has exploded. I tried my best, but unfortunately I didn't manage break everything. I'm sorry.
Search and some similar functions will be wonky for a bit while the software re-indexes the database. I'll post a feature update shortly into this post.
 
New Features/Changes:
If you signed up for two-factor authentication I've temporarily turned it off. IPB and I are arguing about one of the settings. I promise it's all in our best interest to continue the good fight until they fix this. Eventually I'll get this sorted out and you can have your 2FA back. A bunch of crap that doesn't apply to us because @Nayleen is a friggin champ and fixed HTTPS for us I think -- I think -- a thing they did fixed imgur embedding. I'll be testing this below. Wish me luck. Update: Imgur embedding is now fixed! You can post the url and it'll auto-embed (and give you a choice to make it a link instead of an embed) Stupid ACP updates This That Not that The other thing

Alright, I see it's been basically six weeks since the last update.  That's no good.  No additional progress to report; school started back up again for my editor, and he's been crazy swamped.  Don't worry, The Winds of Winter is still coming guys, I swear!

I've always had this as a minor issue but with recent changes to the website that seem to use an image proxy it's much more of a problem that embedded pictures simply never load. The more pictures there are on a page the worse it gets. The post pictures you like thread is the worst example of it. See the screenshot below for what I end up seeing instead of the embedded pictures.

Refreshing sometimes brings up the lost pictures but then it ends up making other pictures disappear. I'm currently using Firefox 50.1.0 without any blocking extensions or anything like that.

Weekly update.
This is most likely going to be the last time I make a weekly update like this. The thing is, we have reached a point where the normal % progress starts to get a bit deceiving. Even though everything is approaching 100%, we still have some work left on fixing bugs in the game from a hacking point of view, a possible second QC pass and beta testing. Since the primary editing and translation is over, I will stop making these frequent weekly updates, as we will probably have a bit less to offer some weeks as we work on these things. Instead, I'll move over to posting an update when we have some news/ hit milestones.
So with that said, keep in mind that we aren't dead if we go a week without an update! We are working hard on preparing everything for the release, and will continue to do so.

Firstly I'm sorry for my inactivity on this forum. Since i am the only translator on this project the progress has stopped cause i was busy with some IRL stuff. And honestly now since i came back my vn backlog became rly big xD, like 20 vn's including the sequels of these series. So while i apologize i'll now inform you that this project is currently on hold, but i'm honestly going to finish it at some point.

Weekly update.
 
I was hoping I'd be able to say I have the common route retranslated by today, but I have sadly been a little bit lazy the past week. With exams finally being over, I might have gotten a bit too relaxed, and kind of forgot I had stuff to do. Oh well.
Anyways, the retranslation is at about 80% at the moment.
 
Also, note for the VNTS guys: the progress table on our website is currently having a stroke or something, so the progress displayed there might be totally incorrect, (removing TL and QC % etc...) Porygon is looking into that at the moment, but just use last weeks numbers, (except for the retranslation,) if it hasn't been fixed by the time the VNTS is going to go up.

Progress updated.  Now at 6.5%.  Ryechu finally got clear of school, it's the week before Christmas, he should have time to make more progress next week.
I would have waited another day or two, but starting tomorrow I'm out of town and won't be able to post to Fuwa.  I get back late next week.
