Meh, I found extra kinda boring. The gameplay really took away from the story. Same with hollow, I didn't like having map selection, felt to much like a galge.

Excel saga ended with a very satisfying ending. Called going to far and couldn't air on t.v. I had no idea what I watched which is exactly what Excel Saga is. One of my favorite Anime's was Railgun and it ended great with a possibility of a 3rd season. Kore Zombie another favorite ended alright considering it shifted from the LN's plot. *spits out blood* Doctor told me not to give opinions on shows.

Did I just read "Shizuro more mature"?!? Leme at the jerk that decided that!! Also lets not forget how grisia's adaptation ended up. The whole common route was to choppy. Leme at the dumb sh** messing with Shizuro!! She is the best heroine and just a little tweek would change her greatness. I could take or leave her route though. Chihia's route was the best though. p.s any news on Gil and Pani?

Eroge releases are more or less censored in Japan as well as I understand. There was some censorship law thing or something around 2000 I think that addressed digital censorship. That's why there's a sudden change from uncensored to censored. I read this a LONG time ago so I don't remember it that well at all. But basically the amount of change in a western release is removing scenes that were already edited over with mosaics. So a double censorship buff for us in the west.

That's tough, the first I can remember clearly was one of the sono hanabira's. It wasn't bad after I finished, but I now see it as lacking in a lot of places. It is an Eroge after all though, so that's kinda to be expected. I still read that series due to the extreme lack of pure yuri VN's translated out there. The first non-eroge VN was most likely Fate/Stay Night. I finished the fate route and started UBW, but started reading something else. So it wasn't the first I finished but first I started. My only issue with Fate/Stay is that Shiro's actions are always motivated by "what's right", "Make me surviving the fire worth it to the dead", and "wanting to finish his father's dream". Think for yourself for once and let Saber fight without you interfering!!! Comyu is my favorite VN btw.

I think you an guess, but I'm all for nekomimi. Nyaa~~~ Dandere is also one, like Shizuru from Rewrite, Shiro from NGNL, or Koneko from DxD Never really got the difference between coodere and tsundere.

Are you also in the small chest club?!? And it's not that I'm happy that everyone likes tsundere's as well!! You guys just happened to have the same opinion.

I forgot to mention Comyu!! One of if not my favorite VN. The H-Scenes take away from it though unless you really want to see them turn them off. You may have to force yourself to read Mayuki and Ayaya's route at times but you can't skip them and you won't get the true route. The BGM is also good so that's a big bonus.

Not many pure yuri VN's besides the Sono Hanabira series are translated. Those that have yuri usually have it along with a normal H-scene. Lilium x Triangle was recently translated so try that, it's short but it's pure yuri.

One that has a yuri, yoai, and normal sexual relationship routes. Go hard or go home!!! Or you're hanoko of the toilet and your goal is to drown everyone in toilet.

I finished this for the 2nd time yesterday so I can say for a fact that it's a bad end. Or more of a "not enough affection points/flags triggered to continue" to be exact. I treated Akanes route as the true route even though moon and terra come after. Those seemed more like fan disk content and didn't fit with the vibe of the other routes. All serious and no build up. p.s Shizuru is my favorite heroine and chihaya's route was the most fun to read (Cliche ending though)

That's easy!! Mysterious tsundere or a short-of-words character. Add silver hair or a goth outfit and they would be perfect.

I took my laptop to get fixed and forgot that my wallpaper was a slideshow of various anime characters in revealing Santa costumes. The look he gave me after it was fixed was really judgmental.

Tokeijikake no Ley Line. I'm most likely going to drop it until the patch comes out though. It's a little to slow to read using only translators.

but that's true of many VN's. (Look'n at you Sharin no Kuni) Grisaia's common route was better than Yumiko's and Michiru's by a long shot also.

Thanks for this. Although since I know no Japanese it's sometimes difficult to determine what is being said in the translation. Is there a way to improve the translation quality?

I'm the new guy here as stated, but I've played many VN's. I've also been that guy that's always on the forum but doesn't have an account. I don't know ANY Japanese besides frequently used words in anime, LN's, Manga, and VN's. That said I don't think that is much of an issue here (depending on the topic that is). I'm not sure how to end this post, so hello and hope to enjoy myself!
