Time for my first(?) pathetic internet rant(?) whining self-post. I definitely need some bandages to cover up those wrist wounds while I listen to my Offspring album.

First off, I don't know if anyone who knows me has ever asked themselves "Why is this TexasDice guy - who loves to analyze stories and characters on academic levels and hates things that are made by lazy people who don't care about their work - only reading stuff that is low on plot and substance?" - Probably not, because I'm just one really handsome guy out of a thousand from an internet forum about manga porn.
Here is the explanation anyway: Nowadays, close to everything has to be "dark" and "gritty". Movies, video games, TV shows, everything is filled with violence, depression and moral "'grays'. You know what else is this kind of "serious"? Real life. Every damn day, we hear about death and poverty, while greedy politicians and corporates play chess with billions of human lives.
And I'm just sick of seeing that. I want color, I want to feel good as an individual and I want my heroes to be real heroes, while the bad guys are real bad guys. Fun, is the word, I want to have fun. Screw this "seriousness" that is so popular nowadays. And if things have to be a little more corny than they need to in order to accomplish that, so be it.
All I want is to keep that stuff out of my escapism. Because if I don't, I'll snap someday and throw another hooker out of my bathroom window .
 
This is obviously not meant as an excuse for everything to get a passing grade. I place a very high value on the "soul", "motivation" and "spark" behind every piece of fiction and things like Sakura Sandler will never get a positive comment from me, no matter how many colors and pixels they hide in between their memes and fart jokes. Because if I hate anything more than real life, it's exploiting the stupid for money (which kind of goes hand-in-hand, now that I think about it.)

Step 1: Find a post that seems constructive. Shitposting on a shitpost doesn't gain as much salt since everyone is doing the same thing you are
Step 2: Dig deep and find the most irrelevant, cancerous tumblr reddit brainchild of a sentence you can find. If you don't have the mindset for it or you're not familiar enough with the ways of cancerbending to do so please refer to one of your mentors such as @Flutterz or @VirginSmasher.
Step 3: Repeat this as often as possible to establish yourself as a reputable shitposter.
Step 4: Make sure your shitposting maintains consistent quality. Only have 1 or 2 good shitposts out of 500 makes you an irrelevant tryhard. 
Step 5: Be extra salty (Like @solidbatman).
Step 6: Remember all tastes and opinions are shit in the shadow of your own. Insult someone's taste as often as possible
Step 7: Post count is life. 
Step 8: Fuwachat is where you should spend most of your time to practice your shitposting and gain new techniques such as when to kek, lel, > and abusing the /me function. 
Step 9: Play F/GO or Kancercole and claim to love it for the waifus then proceed to talk about it excessively with other shitposters
Step 10: Never be relevant and constructive. 

Now that you know how to be a shitposter go out there and use your talents to better society. Stay salty my friends.

2 months and 9 days.
That was rather fast, wasn't it. I mean, after over 5 months of getting to 500, my activity on this site really surprised me when I started to make this post.
Anyways, thoughts on these past 2 months? Honestly, fast. It all went in a flash, and I had oh so much fun. I started a new thingy on my blog about mangas and it's thoroughly slowly dying there. Good shit.
Other than that, I'm finally getting close and soon can read VNs freely in a bit. I also met a few nice new people, which I'll put in a spoiler because who really has time hear about me rambling on and on, which I do enough already. I'm also quite pleased on how the chat has been doing since I last talked about it. I also got my dirst Fuwa troll so that was fun.
Nothing else much to say from these past two months, I've just been doing what I usually do. Now onto the nominations.
Now that that obligatory segment is over, let's start up the part two: AMA.

You have consistently failed to understand what I am trying to say. I don't want to argue about this. I only want the author to improve. So I'll explain it once more for you and never again.
I am not advocating longwinded explanations and introductions out of nowhere.
I am not advocating that every term be thoroughly explained immediately after it is used.
I am merely saying that dumping six different names and/or terms on the reader in the same paragraph and not giving any auxiliary information is bad exposition.

Thanks, guys.  My life is still kind of a mess, but I'm getting there. The medication I'm taking for anxiety is having an effect so far, but I still have nervous breakdowns on occasion.
