Alright, lemme try to get something you'd like. Symphonic Rain looks like it'd be right up your alley. It starts off somewhat slow, but you gave Clannad a 10/10 so it shouldn't be an issue there, since it's still light years faster than that. Seems to fit the other criteria too. For something that's clear and fucked up from the start, you might be really into Saya no Uta, though. Lesse. For yuri, if it's only translated games, Katahane, probably. I'd recommend a couple dozen more games, but I like doing smaller recommendations not to overwhelm people. Also hey, Neptunia. You have good taste, since Blanc is the best of them. I used Neptune as an avatar for a year or so.

I'd construct that as good news to you, though, since you've already taken at least some steps towards sharing your problems and seeking help by posting this thread. It's very brave of you, and a good step towards helping yourself. Congratulations. If you haven't already, try to look for help in real life. There are anxiety or depression support groups out there who will be patient and listen to you and your worries, as well as be able to give real advice about this, since the whole situation is kind of unrelatable to me.

Hey, that's one of my favorite games. Go for the all ages remake. It has significantly better art and I don't remember if the +18 version has voice acting. Even if it does, the sex scenes are still hotter in the all ages version because of the better art anyway. They're still there, just in an oddly less explicit way. No violence was cut.

After talking with the rest of the active fuwa moderation team, we have decided to recruit a new board moderator. We have very few frequent staff users, and if one of us must be absent for a while because of real life issues, the forums often end up on the hands of just one or two people for up to a week, which can lead to slow report resolution and other general moderation ungoodness. Downloaded it yesterday, actually. Seems funny.

Has to be between Also Sprach Zarathustra and Acta Est Fabula, since the first one didn't have Kei or Rea's routes, so all choices related to them wouldn't be there. First one wasn't even translated though, so it's pretty useless here. Amantes Amentes, the PSP port, should have no different choices, I think. What it adds are post-story epilogues, so there shouldn't be any change to the main story other than the removal of H scenes.

Original version would be the weird mess no one played that's the also sprach zarathustra version, released two years earlier with two less routes and apparently masada not doing all of it though I dunno about that part. +18 version being offered was the second PC version. All ages is the PSP port with the extra epilogues. Mostly right though gotta nitpick about muh chuu2.

This might be completely wrong since it's hearsay and I haven't played the +18 version, but from what I know, instead of translating the H scenes from the Acta Est Fabula version and putting them into the Amantes Amentes version, they just gave you download links to both versions. This would mean that the +18 version would be slightly incomplete, not having the pretty nice side stories that were an added feature of the Amantes Amentes non-H version.

Spot one, a rose guns days song. Seriously though the whole rose guns days OST is great. I could pretty much post anything from it and it'd be one of my favorite songs anyway. This is actually just one of many excellent random battle songs in it. Maybe I should have picked one of the amazing lighthearted songs that play instead of this. The whole OST has such a nice, unique feel to it. This Hanachirasu track. Lots of different opinions about the game, really short though. Always was a remarkable track to me, and I never really found anything similar to it. And to finish up, a Senshinkan song. Absolute despair. Embrace the edgyness, I love it.

Right, and that's totally ok. I don't even necessarily hate them myself, though I couldn't say I'm fond of them either. They're just a thing that's there for me, and not at all a strong pull of the game. "Meh" was always my reaction to those, but I get that some people really enjoy umineko for it.
