  1. I don't really tolerate Kurisu anymore. Our active userbase has been stable for the past two years. No signs of decline. It's about 5 times less activity than we had in our peak during the piracy days, but after it adjusted, it hasn't really been bad at all. Pretty good. I'm quite attached to fuwa.
  2. Rest. Use healing items. The tutorials explain it. If the girl is tired or broken, sutra and stat gains will be minimal.
  3. Curses. We had the same avatar and some nice forum talk. Eventually, the devil himself, admin @Steve violated our sanctuary by changing my avatar without my permission. That was, no doubt, what would lead these forums to their breaking point, as the fuwa population danced around the fiery corpses of the causalities of that war. Lolis were always a hotly debated topic on the staff forums. Since the dawn of fuwanovel itself, they led to great discussions spanning pages of whether we should allow them or think of the 13 year old french girls that visit the site (something I pay close attention to, as I can attest by my growing 1.3% blog female readership, thank you ladies.) Eventually, we decided the forums weren't really the place for loli porn. A ridiculous "I'll call the FBI" threat from an user was involved by the way, something that gave all of us a good laugh. We were all united under the banner of our creator at the time, and the site seemed very good for its first year. Eventually, the seas did indeed prove too harsh for safe sailing, and our captain wisely changed course to calmer waters.
  4. There was this one time me and nosebleed roleplayed a couple for a few mont- Uh, yuri stories. There's Flowers and the Sonohana series, but I imagine you read those already. I'm pretty fond of Katahane. That game had some nice yuri, especially in the mid section of it. Not a whole lot of yuri to go around.
  5. Does anyone care for fuwahistory? I could probably tell some amusing stories about it. No? A pity. Ask me my favorite animal or something then I guess.
  6. If it was about offering support to a pirated game, I might have done it. That's against forum rules, but it normally doesn't warrant any punishment unless it's happening super often or is somehow malicious in nature. If it was just for mentioning piracy exists, then I dunno. Could look into it for you. I'm quite open to moderation inquiries in general, so don't hesitate to contact me if you think something is wrong.
  7. I hid that one. Don't think it was super awful, but I read the message and figured it was directed at me when picking staff anyway. No reason to ruin that thread with negativity.
  8. People have written fanfiction with their favorite settings and characters for hundreds of years, as well as changed parts of a story they didn't like to suit their sensibilities better since the dawn of storytelling. Nothing new about it. Can lead to some pretty nice stuff.
  9. We're actually the australian government. Nothing personal. Wish you good luck with your future endeavors in making little pedo apartment a thing.
  10. Rip in both of my pairings being dead. I should find a new fuwaifu.
  11. I was called the legendary spammer before flutterz even joined these forums. ...Probably not something to be proud of. Still, it is indeed about time I take my recognition back.
  12. I don't play games with inferior non-nipponese artwork since VNs already look like shit enough as-is with aesthetically pleasing character sprites. Can look into doujin gemus though. Many thanks.
  13. As I continue in my quest to become fuwanovel's number 1 effort meme reviewer, I must find games I don't care about enough that I'd write a serious review of and that I haven't played already since replaying mediocre things is a pretty miserable experience. Gimme some middle of the road games. Please no tsunderes. Thank you very much.
  14. I try to only recommend stuff according to the person's tastes, so usually it'd be curveball VNs like symphonic rain where things are not as they seem to be. Still, I've generally found recommending stuff pretty easy. Otaku tend to take pride in being into niche and obscure things (being a "normal" person is an insult after all, though that's not only a weeb community thing,) so it's really about finding whatever niche the person is interested in.
  15. Fetishes that involve death or permanent body harm (amputees are moe), as well as things which are literally impossible in real life stay in the realm of VNs of course. All my other fetishes like the usual SM stuff still cross over to real life, though. There's a practicality thing to it even in real life. A lot of people in BDSM communities I met over the years find the *idea* of being tied to the wall of a basement for 3 days hot, but 99% of them wouldn't do it because it'd be very uncomfortable, boring and it'd hurt. Similarly, having to dedicate your life to taking care of an amputee girl isn't something most people think as fun, but as fiction it works well. I think there's a divide on what's fetishized and what you'd actually do in real life for everyone.
  16. Doesn't matter, they're mostly self-contained and mostly 100% porn with very little else to it. Some games are the second installment of a previously established pairing, or couples from previous entries briefly appear, though. If you don't like missing out on that stuff, the "right" play order is from 1 to the last.
  17. Think of a lesson you learned recently and apply it to a memory. How would your behavior have changed if you had applied the lesson back then?
  18. I mean, if it won't stop the game from working, should I really care about what whoever put it there had to say? Maybe but I won't.
  19. If they're like all caps READ THIS BEFORE INSTALLING THE GAME OR IT WON'T WORKKKKKKKK I'll read it Or if install fails Otherwise no
  20. Rose Guns Days. Actually well-paced for such a long VN, incredible soundtrack, very fun and compelling characters with nice motivations and a good story rooted in real life tensios. Usually not the biggest Ryukishi fan, think all of his other works have too many flaws that make me not enjoy them, but nothing I've played has even gotten close to it for me now.
