First I decided to try this out with no real expectations (loli hearthstone, aw ya!) but it was a lot better than I thought. Anyone else playing it? I started grinding about 20 days ago, and I'm spending way too much time with this thing.

Re;Birth 3 is kind of a hit-or-miss one. It'll work if you can highly enjoy Plutia for what she is. It probably won't, otherwise. By the way, I highly recommend VII. It's just so much better than all of the Re;Birth titles in every possible way, to me.

Time to do my usual shilling and say I'm 100% ok with censorship in these games, and will consider supporting them as much any any uncensored title. That isn't to say I think they didn't mess up. Bad translations are a big no-no. I'm fine with localizations, but if your phrases make no sense, then it's very tough for me to support you. I hope they fix that.

Junko is so over the top she feels like a caricature, like a lot of the other characters do. I don't really get why people like it either. Pretty interested on the replies that might pop up here.

Uuuuh, something something, lots of snarky commentaries, keep it civil or the thread might be locked and in the worst case bans may happen and whatnot. I don't think Sekai as a company is particularly scummy or particularly good. They're aight. I do feel compelled to defend them most of the time, but largely because a bunch of people who shit on them give this air of being in a holy crusade for the sake of the good eroge population and that pisses me off to no end. Almost as much as the "censorship, muh +18 content" and the "righteous piracy" crowd (who I firmly believe should burn to death. Slowly). But that's a topic for another day, so I won't mention it~

Trump isn't an RPG's final boss, for christ's sake. He's either plain stupid or plain evil, but he's not going to destroy the world. Even if he becomes president, I'm pretty sure nothing super big will happen (Bush was already atrocious for your foreign politics, anyway) save for ignoring global warming for a while, I guess.

We don't usually do name changes, though that's not to say we haven't done them before. If you'd like, feel free to throw me or any other GM a PM with why you want that name change, haha. Admins don't normally deal with this type of thing nowdays, and we do have the permission to make those changes.

Phenomeno is super short, which is a turn off for some people, but it's one of my favorite shorts by Nitroplus, haha. It's one of the VNs on this list I'd put pretty high, as far as recommendations go.

True endings are normally a thing for plot-focused games, but they're very present in pure romance stories, too. Most of the time, a company won't go out of their way to say "this is the true ending." You just sorta know by which of them is the most complete, reveals the final mysteries of the setting, etc. True endings can be good. They can also be bad. And also bittersweet. That doesn't really affect anything. Sometimes you have true endings being less happy than good endings, sometimes not. It's a story and none of it actually happened, so I think it's pointless to think of the other routes as useless and whatnot. They're there for your entertainment. Same as the true one. It's only actually relevant if they're going to make a sequel. A lot of VNs obviously have a main heroine, where most of the polish went, as well as having the deepest, most relevant routes for the plot. Those are the ones that normally have true endings.
