pretty much this. goal is way too low for covering any possible costs of developement and since there´s a release date already, which isnt that much off in the future, it can be assumed this campaign is all about exposition/gaining awareness for them as a brand/upcoming publisher in the west, btw. as a means of evaluating out how much interest (in terms of potential buyership) there actually is in them trying to do so. edit. @littleshogun nanaho yuhi co-did henshin, which is a pretty darn great accomplishment in itself. do you know how many gallons of bodyfluids that title in particular has caused to go waste? XD

not wanting to comment on its lifeless appearance XD, but all in all those prices seem to be pretty modest to me, 7$-15$ a game isnt much to complain about. same goes for the 30k basegoal. seen much much worse.

they are basically the same company. + anyone who believes evan & gang are doing kiminozo as a sideproject only, without them ever considering the possibility of it might being turned into an official one at some point, is nothing but deluding himself.

there´s not fucking way in bloody fucked up hell this is going to bomb, not with it being an international campaign, not if they do come up with the right goodies, not if backing saves you awhole fucking lot of money instead of buying the game later on for the full price. that´s all regardless of actual quality. edit. dont underestimate the pyaa-faction. dont.

actually it is been made official during key´s q&a session + them having told their audience that work on said project has already passed the 50% mark. admitted it didnt come up during some super-flashy announcement as one might have expected, but a key-official saying so is still a key-official and not some random dude. so that´s that.

in case of someone having missed it, angel beats 1st is already 50% done translation-wise. not the fanmade one, but keys. just saying.

been wondering already, i mean 5pb is part of mages & also the majority holder of degica, so a possible no-no would´ve been pretty much miraculous to me.

well, you´ve been the very one who recommended me try out reading hotel ergriffen. never regretted it once.

went through my special something list & managed to come up with few good, albeit (partly) unique ones. well, here you go: kyojin-tachi (it´s a huge mess in more than one way) norukasoruka omega no shikai (every fukking single one of them) hotel ergriffen (quite some nice prose in there) umi kara kuru mono edit: tried my best in staying away from the extreme, though some may find the content of theirs still being morally & ethically questionable, depending on ones own upbringing. edit2: reg. omega no shikai, personally i found them being non suited for one to halt his/her read & decide on continue reading later on, simply because 1)the flow/ atmosphere gets broken 2)they can be slightly confusing, so there´s a risk of one non catching up to their plot . edit3: you also might want to give zigzag´s titles a try, especially kurai nichiyoubi comes to mind.

resumee of the day: • them having chosen kyonyuu fantasy over yabai? - well, reality sucksss... • angel beats getting an official tl? wait, but hamonias shown screens didnt look very.... ugh, promising? • seireki being the announcements sole shining star, despite its looks.

at least consider using nothing else but the interface patch, because you´re definitely better off reading its story by your own, even if the jp-understanding of yours might be only rudimentary, trust me there.

dont, just dont. the supposed to be "amazing" tl does not only sound pretty off, its also full of (minor-major) mistranslations, basically saying that by decide on doing so your enjoyment-level is bound of going straight to the fucks. really now.

almost feeling quite bad for sekai after them being exposed to an enormous amount of hate & flame when they didnt release g-sensou´s 18+ version, despite having wanted to & now that frontwing took over the lead everything seemingly does flow smootly like a newborn popping out of some ++sized manko. strange days we´re living in...

not to mention the one title he´s currently working on is none that features gameplay. just saying.

eustia seams abit unlikely & coming to eushully, that´s a tough one. thing is their better - awesome ones are rather outdated gamemechanics-wise, even more after 1-2years of needed work & the latest titles turned out meh-tier. just one year ago i´d said that going for eushully cant be wrong, but now .... personally i believe they´ll announce 1-2nukige/semi-nukige, 1doujin, 1title feat. some sort of gameplay & 2bigger ones story-wise. of course it´s also quite possible for them throwing out stuff such as drama cd´s & else, basically products which have lived up to their expectations financially.

somehow deep down i fear their staff has another behemoth up their sleeves, you know, just in case kouryuu wont be completely braindead after him supposed to be finishing dacapo3 anytime soon...
