  1. I think it's better if you didn't use Steam version, and you better using Japanese version (Original one) and this patch instead of Restoration patch there. Although to be honest I didn't know about the problem though if you already did that. In that case, I'll check if my game will had same glitch as you or not. Oh, by the way I'mnusing Japanese version and linked translation patch. PS - Welcome to Fuwanovel, and hope you had fun here.
  2. If I remember, Shuffle was my first story based eroge here (Although if you want to know my first eroge it was Succubuss Soon though). I think I'm okay with this entering Steam, because the H scenes at original one was quite light and most importantly they had experience to port it to PS2. And apprently they had some new content for PS2 version. Let's just wait and see here, although I think personally I'm satisfied with original one.
  3. Happy early 26th birthday here, @nohman. Thanks for moderating this forum and being here for around 3 years I supposed. Hope you had good years ahead.
  4. My comment here would be if you want to talk about licensed games here, I think Sailor Moon RPG for SNES was quite good imo although the creator was mixing original story with the main story from manga. By the way, I think Rayearth games was kind of following the main story here although I'm not suure though. Working Design, I'd more think that they released some anime looking RPG on PS1 like Lunar here than localized 3D games like FF which back there was quite a number being developed. Other than that, I didn't knew much about Working Design here to be honest until now at least. Guess learn another new thing today was good.
  5. Another thing that I learned here in regard of fan translation scene. Also if I may said the burn out could also affected any people who highly motivated to translated VN at first. Other than that, not much that I could comment here.
  6. Okay, let's see what's my opinion here or I should said few elaboration here. In regard of translating cost here, guess I'd learning something new here which is quite interesting. Although if I may nitpicking here Majokoi was only 40,000 lines though instead of 47,000 lines, but I knew it still take long time though (Sorry). About saying translation bad, it's not only the fan translation problem. Even Conjueror who hailed managed to made Tokyo Babel translation very good was facing critic in regard of translation. So yeah, there's always the people who nitpicking too much in regard of translation (And I think most of them were at 4chan iirc). As for e-begged, suddenly I'd remember back when VNTL was one of site that I'd visit to seeing the VN translation progress there. I'd always see the comment from one user that always asking like when Miyako route translated (He also made parody of UBW chant in regar of Miyako). Oh, and another people there also always asking euphoria to be translated iirc. For more e-beg, just read this thread (To Sekai directly though) and you could put your insulting meme there if you wish (By the way, I'd amazed that the OP there (Shini44) was very quick to change his stance from hopeful to Sekai to distrust Sekai in about 12 hours, while Sekai didn't do anything at all). By the way, I think it would be called entitlement by Decay if you speak about e-beg. From the reason that fan TL not worth, I think one of those could be improved here and that's in regard of the review. In fact, I think the translator could send the patch to the reviewer of Fuwanovel, then the reviewer write his/her opinion about the translated game and publish it on Fuwareview if the translator want to raise awareness of translated game there (Sort of like review copy system). Just saying my idea here. Other than that, more or less I kind of agree with the blog post here.
  7. Okay, thanks for confirmation then. Just for my confirmation here, 'low chance' here meaning that the chance for the VN had low sexual content are low (It could also refer to impossible, because after all 0% chance could also said as low here). Sorry.
  8. Don't care here, because from the first look at VNDB I think this is one of VNs that didn't had my interest here. As for covering up sex scenes, maybe either it'll be like Sakura franchise or the VN had very little of sex scene (Low chance).
  9. For more elaborations here while some VNs that was translated may be translator favorite, it could still there's possibility that it'll be stopped or stalled you know. The reason was because there'll be some real life circumstance that could affect the speed of translation, or the burnout that the translator suffer there even if it's translator favorite one for working too long there. As for sending the translation to the reviewer, it was called review copy and for now only professional localization did that.
  10. Sure, why not? In fact you could just give me the scripts for all of those VNs and I'll translate it to 4 languages here (English, Latinese, Arabic, and Indonesian) in one year at very late by using Google Translate lol. Okay seriously it's just like anyone said before (And to be honest I want those to be translated). It'll take too much effort to translate those properly, and there's so many technical work there. Also in regard of both of Shinigami no Testament and Sakura no Mori, the company behind those two (3rd Eye and Moonstone respectively) had the deal with Mangagamer so the fan translator didn't want to deal with official works or procedure (Probably). PS - By the way, one VNs here was very long in term of length (Kenseki) and one medium (Shinigami no Testament).
  11. Rejected, and regarding your basic: I think some user already had their own group here, and no they didn't need asking either admin or mod to do that There's so many user here, and managing that would be difficult because there's surely many VN that the users here want to be translated and limiting it to 10 at most would still be very difficult Asking donation would be illegal, and therefore risking the project to suffering C&D (To be honest, I'm just learned this on this thread) The VNs in wishlist may not something that the translator could enjoy. There's many stalled translation project out there even if the VNs were translator's favorite More or less same as point 3 here It may be good idea, but it will be impossible if you want want Fuwanovel was the only place to get translated VN Just make a thread in translation project thread should be enough or using Fuwanovel blog here My conclusion here, to be blunt your idea regarding donation would be rejected by most users here and I think this idea already suggested several times here. Although your idea regarding review would be good here though (The fan translator who manage to finish the patch send the patch to usual reviewer here (Like Decay or Kaguya for example), then the reviewer write his/her opinion in Fuwa Review). PS - I'm vote the second option here 'No, it's a waste of time and effort' if some people curious about my vote.
  12. Late to the party here, but welcome to Fuwanovel and hope you had fun here. My recommendation here, since everyone already suggested something good I'll recommend Yoake if you want translated one, and maybe both of Chrono Clock and Clover Days if you want to try untranslated one. Although maybe the incest was not as deep as you wish, hipe you had fun play those VNs.
  13. Here's Miniature Garden opening English sub. Not too bad here although the singer was quite unknown.
  14. Looks like Chisato was quite a base breaker here. I said this because I'd read that some people also didn't mind her too much. To each of their own I guess, although I understand if some people find her was very annoying though. As for the title, I'll continue Amane's route from Flyable Heart after procrastinating it for several days here. By the way, I did the first look for Chrono Clock using Japanese game and complete save from Sagaoz. By the way, the interface was the same as Hapymaher (Same company duh). Oh, although I only tell my observation here I better be careful in case there was some big spoiler below. Well, That's all and I'm still waiting for Chrono Clock translated here.
  15. Welcome to Fuwanovel, and if you want recommendation based on your enjoyment, I think Koichoco and Yoake would be good there. Of you want more just ask us. Hope you enjoy yourself and have fun here.
  16. Oh, welcome to Fuwanovel here. If you need some recommendation here, maybe Yoake and To Heart 2 would be good VN there if you prefer comedy, slice of life, and romance there. Oh, also Noble Works and Dracu Riot if you want more recommendations. Hope you had fun and hope to see you around here too. PS - By the way, I'm quite interested with your avatar here. It's Nakiri Alice from Shokugeki no Souma, right? I'd know the manga and it was quite good imo.
  17. Welcome to Fuwanovel, and I think you're not that late for introduction here. I said thid based on my experience earlier here (2 years after registering here). If you need some VN Recommendation just ask us. Look forward to your participation in the future here and had fun.
  18. Flutterz already answer those of the questions, but let me try to elaborate here. Oh, and beforehand sorry that I couldn't answer the first question here. 2. Looking from the walktrough (And you should follow it), like Flutterz said you need to repeat it seven times there (Six for each girl and one for true ending iirc). Although you may repeat it infinitely though if you wish XDDDD. 3. I don't know where, but maybe if you need to bleach your hair to white you could try this from WikiHow. Have fun with your Cross Channel playthrough there.
  19. Late to said this, but welcome to Fuwanovel here and good luck to your VN project there. As for my comment, I think for the first look your VN had quite nice graphic and character design there. Hope you enjoy yourself here, and if you need some feedback just ask us here.
  20. Well, moege with romance was very common if I may say so. But if you need recommendation here both of Yoake and Dracu Riot would be good (The latter was also created by the company behind Noble Works, and beside even if the patch was deleted you could still get it if you search enough). I think both of those VNs quite qualify as moege imo. Hope my recommendation here help. PS - Forgot to said that Yoake didn't had sex scene, although if you didn't had the problem with that go ahead and play Yoake.
  21. Regarding this, I think since there is a word trial in the title, maybe Illusion will not releases full version (Probably had some sex scene) at Steam. I think the story will be light there although the spec for the game will be heavy though (My laptop wouldn't be able to handle this). Therefore, I think I'm not interested with this game here for now.
  22. Happy early 21st birthday there @Kurisu-Chan. Hope you had good year ahead and thanks for moderating the chat here (Although I'd never came to chat though to be honest).
  23. Visual Novel Translation Status (10/15/2016) For this week title, I kind of confused but I decided that I use Kisaragi no Hougyoku as the inspiration for the title. I'll explain the reason for the title in PS here (Or maybe PPS). This week was quite calm after Mangagamer did crazy update from last week (And they will next week), although this week we also had many small VN releases there. One of those were Kisaragi, which quite mediocre looking from VNDB score and the graphic was not my taste here (Although some people might like that kind of graphic). Another one was Creampie Heaven by Mangagamer, which as you guess it was nukige involving maid with big bust size. As for one more missing progress, it was Catch Canvas which was created by the developer of No One But You and the premise was you as the artist who somehow becoming the art teacher for three girls whose unmotivated to finish their art work. Overall, the releases for this week not that impressive imo. Other As for the update here, first of all once again Libra release was pushed back to March 2017 because of the progress was still far from ideal if we expect November release. Although there's another update from them though. Namely Calen's bonus route was finished translated while Aoi's route still 15% translated though. Fruitback Factory also had some update for this week. For the first update, Enigma was finishing both of translation and editing progress, and the coding was already started. The second update here was Miniature Garden was 15% translated. By the way, this week we also had successful Indie Go Go funding in regard of Corona Blossom Volume 2, which managed to gathered almost 40,000 out of 10,000 as the goal. Once again this crowdfunding goal was to funding the hardcopy, so the goal was very low there. Although the goal was very low, it's still successful compared to Volume 1 albeit a little bit looking from the fund gathered (Around 36,000 for Volume 1 iirc). As for the release, Frontwing will release Steam version this month and they planned to release the hardcopy at December later. Sekai Project Once again, if we looking at of how Libra need to delay the release because of the progress here, we could said that Chrono Clock will also suffer delay if we talk about the release at January (It was 40% translated, which is far from ideal if we expect January release). Oh well, not much we could do if it will happen like that in the future. Other than Chrono Clock here, Maitetsu here had nice progress which right now it was at 42.13% translated. Tenshin Rahman, right now it was at 59.99% translated although I could just said 60% translated though if I were Sekai (Well, whatever their choice). Princess Knight Chapter 2 was at 53.04% translated. Oh, almost forgot that Chapter 1 was finally released after delayed several times there. Bokukotsu there finally re ach 10% translated mark there (10.05% translated). And Wagahigh still had some progress, although it was very slow (73.70% translated). Memory Dogma was finally had Steam Store page, implying that the time for release was near. Once again it was quite interesting if we looking from the opening video and seiyuu alone. Too bad that it's only one chapter though, and I could guess it'll be take very long time for Memory Dogma Volume 2 looking from the seiyuu and the graphic imo. As for Nashville, they finally got the Greenlight for the Steam which mean they'll had release on Steam later. Finally, this week Sekai also had official site for Japanese School Life. The premise to be honest just like Go Go Nippon there, except they also add Comic Market. For more info the writer for this VN also the writer for Hanasaki Work Spring and one route from Hoshiori. The cast here was quite interesting, and the reason I said this because one of the seiyuu there (The game only had two seiyuu by the way) was Risa Taneda which if I may said one of uprising seiyuu there, although right now she was on hiatus because of her sickness. Oh, and another seiyuu there was Arisugawa Miyabi although she was using her real name though (I'd more like to use her alias by the way). Fan Translation This week we had one established project there, but beforehand let me try to doing some roundup for the regular progress. Right now, we had Tsui Yuri at 90% translated and 6% QC-ed; Bishoujo Mangekyou 90% edited, 85%QC-ed, and 42% proofread; Majokoi finally reach halfway mark translated (50.4% translated), 35.7% edited, and 17.6% TLC-ed (Good progress there); and Loverable was 19.27% translated, and the TLC was regressing to 3.16% (There was the reason behind the regression though namely they decided to also translated append material which increased script count to 31,000 lines). About established project, it was another Bishoujo Mangekyou which apparently some sort of franchise there and this time it was tell the story about love in hot spring inn. The love there was obviously expressed by mostly sex, looking from original Bishoujo Mangekyou which categorized as nukige. As for the name, although Arcadeotic had good name for localization there (It was 'Kaleidoscope Beauty: You were the Girl (I Knew) Back Then' for anyone else who wonder) I think I'll just go with Bishoujo Mangekyou 2.5 for simplicity sake there. Oh, and for the progress it was 40% translated and 30% TLC-ed right now. I'll keep my eyes on this project here. Lastly for Fan Translation segment, we had another progress for the VN which quite rare to do the update there. It was propeller VN, and the name was Sukimazakura to Uso no Machi or to be shortened as Sukima (I prefer Sukiuso for the abbreviation there, but I'll just call Sukima later here). It was rara propeller VN which focused on drama instead of chuuni like usual. And for the premise it was like there's a town which only liar could enter there, so naturally there's something hidden at the start of the game between the character. Oh, this VN was already had some sort of fake Greenlight at Steam earlier there and it was already almost one year since the translation begin. For the progress it was 37.5% translated, also with one route fully translated there for more detail. That's all for this week VNTS Review, and see you next week. PS - From Konosora retranslation project, Ageha route was fully translated and started the editing progress. PPS - As for the title, since Kisaragi mean February and Hougyoku mean jewel, I figured that because I remember that each month had some kind of birthstones (Could also called jewel), so I decided to use the birthstone for February as the title. The birthstone for February was amethyst, and since in the past people used it to prevent intoxication I decided to use 'A Charm Against Intoxication' for the title (Charm also mean some object to ward off something evil, and this time the evil was intoxication).
  24. Welcome to Fuwanovel. As for the answer, maybe I'll be wrong here but let me try to answering those questions. 2. As for your problem, I think instead of using Steam version you better using Japanese version and patch it using available English patch out there. With that you'll avoiding crash problem and misplaced CG in the CG View. Although if you already using Japanese version and got the same problem (Or didn;t fownload Japanese version), maybe you better uninstall Sweet Love because I'd heard it was incompatible with the English version or restoration patch. 3. I guess it was supposed to do instead of the bug, although I'd not certain though. That's all for my answers here, and hope it'll help.
  25. Late to notice this, but good luck here. Now that you almost reach 40% translated here, I'll try to keep my eyes on this project if possible.
