you can only add an h-code ("user hook") if you start the visual novel itself with chiitrans if you dont do this it will grey it out (it wont let you use it since you are not starting the ITH that comes with the chiitrans itself) I don't recommend you to use the text hooker that comes with chiitrans, the delay thing that nosebleed talks about can be fixed within ITH itself, in fact some engines wont be able to hook properly with the ITH that comes with chiitrans (like NScripter ) since it only comes with a delay function and not an split time.

as long as this option is selected (yellow) chiitrans will grab any copy text that is detected in your pc, you can even use VNR to grab the text and still use chiitrans to parse it and display it (not that i recommend it to do so but you can xD)

you can use ppsspp that's how I read it, not the tooth but the constellation xD https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canis_Major I don't recommend you to read the fan disc or sequel whatever you wanna call, I recommend you to read the original one and only the first route and normal ending of kira kira (kirari's route normal ending) , it seems like after that the writer added the other two routes just for fan service and the true ending was kinda bad specially compared to the normal one (is like the normal ending vs the true ending of swan song, one makes sense the other looks like they forced a happy ending for no good reason) and the fan disk tells the story based on the "true ending" but is written by a different author so meh.

The problem is that when you really really like something all your judgment kinda disappears, so you are even more subjective than you normally would, while this could be true and some times that's the case, the truth is that most of the times it's not a "deeper meaning", the person is just being obstinate, then again if you like something and you read it tons of times there is a chance that you could actually comprehend and grab things that normally a person that reads such material one time wouldn't, maybe you like it so much that you are even studying it so you understand of such material goes beyond a simple reading... but then again the chances of that are really slim, probably that person is just being stubborn and doesnt like to hear criticism towards the thing he/she loves so much

yes it should in theory, if you have VNR open it will grab the text that you are extracting from cheat engine and translate it, i'm not 100% sure since I don't use VNR to MTs or to parse specially not with an outside source, but it should work detecting any copied text from any source like chiitrans does and auto translate it for you...

I did it with cheat engine (if you follow the guide in the link I posted you can also hook it but it might be a bit difficult at first )

You or Derg should read the one that feels is right (I think you already read it xD). I like literal translations (the more literal the better for me), I hate when the translator takes liberties just to make it sound good for the English audience but this is something not many people agree with and I understand that, they also changed many things on how miki talks, is not bad or good it's just different but I personally don't like it. Still, is not a bad translation, just different. The real issue here is if you want to wait until alternative gets released or not, maybe read extra and unlimited and if you see that you cant wait for the release of alternative then read the amatersau version of alternative xD I don't know what was cut from the muv luv all version, there isnt much to cut aside from the h-scenes (i skip them when I read it) and i didnt notice anything being censored (like when miki falls you can still see her panties) maybe certain scene... but either way there is nothing really important being cut from the novel. Now, reading the censored version of alternative... that would be a shame and I don't recommend it at all, alternative doesnt have a release date yet, probably next year and seeing that it takes them around 5 months to release a +18 version of the same game... maybe it will be released by the ends of 2017, so it would be a pretty long wait and like I said before, reading extra and unlimited without alternative is like cutting a movie in the best part.

Reading muv luv (extra and unlimited) without reading alternative is like watching a war movie and when they are actually going to show you the big war scene which you were waiting for the whole movie to happen is over and you need to wait months or maybe a year to see it... so no, if you are not going to read alternative you shouldn't read it now. I don't wont talk about the translation since I have a really different opinion from the rest xD

The problem with oelvn(and im going to includ several more languages too not just english) is the writing. It goes from people writing them that clearly dont know anything about writing itself to some really talented ones, sadly it seems to be more from first one and not the latter. In japanese, which happens a lot too, there are many good writers that work with certain companies so they keep releasing good material or at least somehow decent, so the good vns kinda contrast with the really bad ones, with oelvn that doesn't happen so we tend to think that everything is crap when it's actually not, some oelvn dont have anything to envy to the japanese ones. Also japanese vns work with a really different budget that oelvn dont have, most of the time is the work of just 1 guy with the help of some friends here and there... Just to name a few: One thousand lies (spanish vn) katawa shoujo (english vn) Lucy (korean vn) Juniper's Knot (english vn) Бесконечное лето (russian vn)
