This is a very interesting perspective. But I don't think there would be any other "bad guy" if it had not been for that. In this case I do not think the antagonist was well mended into the story, felt kinda rushed to be honest. And most of the time the progression did not even make sense !! loll dammit here I go pointing out all the route's flaws.

I've processed all the things people have said so far about yumiko's route and came to a conclusion. Nothings perfect. And I don't think yumiko's father can be judged from the get go either. Children learn from there parents. This is the only natural thing to do. So when you teach someone to act a certain way from a young age it becomes second nature does it not?

I really did not like the way the anime adaptation went to be honest in my opinion. It was just to depressing. I am constantly told to not Judge a vn by it's anime counterpart but it is so hard lol.
