I can understand from a community management standpoint why you'd want to implement this policy, but also relevant: tech support from official VN publishers tends to suck.  Many of them don't even have message boards for users to help each other with issues.  I've heard horror stories of people waiting weeks or even months for replies from JAST.  On the other hand, you can get useful responses from other users typically within a day, and these responses get indexed by search engines and go on to help many others.  Also, in my experience, many new users join communities like this to get technical support, then stick around and join in other discussions.  Forbid technical support, and you might turn away these users. 

My assessment of the Venus Blood series, for those who are interested.  This is coming from someone who isn't terribly fond of  tentacles, so it is probably a bit closer to the mainstream opinion than Sanah's.

Synopsis:
The protagonist is a famous soccer player, but due to a leg injury from a game, he must now rest until it heals. When he returns home, he is warmly greeted by his 4 older sisters whom he hasn't seen for a long time.

However, because his clubmates have play a prank on him and fill his bag with  H-manga, their relationships immediately plummet after they find out about it.

While trying to explain the situation to no avail, one of them suggests that they themselves should help him escape the 2D world and be interested in healthy adult women. Little does he know, all of his sisters love him more than a brother.

And so, this is the beginning of a ridiculous erotic life between our protagonist and his 4 tempting older sisters.

This is likely one of the hardest posts I will ever write here. I will try to write why some people love Trump without saying anything about what I think.
 
I already mentioned in the other thread that all media is biased and because of that I try to get news from media biased in both directions. From what ended up on wikileaks, a number of news media worked together with Hillary's campaign like they were part of the campaign. The list is: CNN, NY Times, Washington Post, Hufftington Post, Boston Globe, though I'm not sure if I can remember the entire list. CNN is Hillary's 8th biggest donor, NY Times is owned by the richest man in Mexico and when asked about it, he turned out to be the only man in Mexico without a clue to who Trump is. Washington Post is owned by the same people who own Amazon. Trump has said he thinks Amazon is too big and has talked about anti-trust, which will force Amazon to be split up to avoid a monopoly. If you get your news from those or from somebody who relays news from those, then Trump is an idiot. A lot of non-English media use those as source for what goes on in America.
Fake news is actually a thing. Melania Trump sued a newspaper because they wrote she used to work as a prostitute. The newspaper then openly admitted they had no source to the story and settled out of court. NY Times quoted Trump "we pay the highest taxes in the world" and then wrote it was false because some other country has higher personal income tax. Trump said "We pay the highest taxes in the world for companies".
If you want to read news not strongly against Trump, then try Washington Times.
One more thing to add about the media is that Obama repelled an old law, which states the media is supposed to inform the population. Now they are allowed to tell the population what they are supposed to think (aka propaganda), something which was banned prior to Obama.
 
With all this in mind, if you sit outside of America and use the media as the only source of information, you get a very different picture of what goes on compared to what a lot of Americans experience. The average Trump supporter lives in red counties (I will not say states. Trump won a lot of counties in blue states and something like 80% of all counties). What they care about is their own economy, job safety, crime level, children's education etc.
List of what Trump has done for them:
Cut company taxes. Companies have reacted by not firing people, hiring more people and given bonuses. A lot of people got $500 or $1000 when the tax cut was announced, though some got up to $3000. This has taken care of private economy and jobs. It can get better, but it's not like under Obama where production moved out of the country and people feared getting fired all the time.
Education. Trump is removing the laws at federal level and putting the individual states in charge of education laws. This is classic republican ideology: move decisions from Washington to the states or better yet to the individual cities. Democrats wants power to move the other way. Trump has now taken first step to end "Common Core", which is an apparently very disliked system. Some people go as far as to call it democrat indoctrination of children. I don't know if that is right, but the math stuff I have seen is horrible. From what I can tell, I could get all the right results, yet score 0 points because it's all about some weird way to calculate rather than calculating like people have done for centuries and the right answer gives 0 points if it doesn't use the method Common Core has invented themselves.
Crime and security. Republicans wants to have guns to defend themselves and they point to the constitution where it's written that the population should be armed. (Founding fathers stated that this is needed to protect against tyranny, including from their own government). Democrats wants to ban guns in order to take guns from criminals. Republicans see that as disarming the lawful while keeping the criminals armed as they don't care if they break 4 or 5 laws.
The government is losing control of parts of Mexico because some brutal gangs are taking over. They operate in multiple countries and one of them being the US. They bring lots of drugs, steal and murder the locals. Trump wants to build a wall to stop that and the wall is in fact under construction. Trump stated that the wall should have doors in it so that people can enter, but only lawful people.
Democrats seem to think that illegal aliens are victims and needs to be protected from the federal government. As a result, some places (particularly California) will not arrest them or release them from jail without letting them serve their time and they try to ignore court orders to kick them out of the country. As a result if you are an American citizen and murder somebody, you will spend ages in jail while foreigners can be out and murder somebody else next year and it has happened. Some high school girl in California was raped and murdered. Other students at the school made some sort of memorial with something like "we miss you" or something. The school went bananas and removed it because the murderer was an illegal alien and it was apparently hate towards him. He had been expelled 3 times prior to this.
It should be noted that while the illegal aliens come from Mexico, quite a number of them aren't Mexican. Mexico has become a transit country and people from places like Afghanistan will also get into the country by that route and some have done so.
 
I think that's the main points in why a lot of Americans love Trump. It's partly what he does and partly hatred towards what the democrats wants to do.

Yep, I did it. And it didn't even take me 20 years as I originally suspected.
Since there's nothing to do with this thread anymore, and AMA's are getting old, and it's not like I have anything interesting to tell about myself anyway, just... bring here the nicest VN fanarts you can find or something?

I seconded Clephas's recommendations here, and while I'm at it I'll recommend Yumina as well. For more recommendations, I can recommend Daibanchou as well here seeing that it also have same element as both of Kichikuou Rance and Sengoku Rance. Also if you want easier battle, I think you can try Mamatoto as well although the story is quite cliche though. I hope my recommendations will be helpful to you.
PS (4/30) - I did forget to add Bunny Black here. For the info, it's gameplay VN as well with the MC (Darx) is almost resembled Rance. You can play the sequel as well (Also translated like the first Bunny Black).

Monika is certainly unique and dominant . This VN has a twisted theme though and I'm not sure if it's what you are looking for. Also, to complete the VN (and find all the secret stuff), you have to mess around with the game files (very similar to what Scott Cawthon did in his Five Nights at Freddy's series). I don't think I like and want to do that in a VN....

Some of the above recommendations are Nukiges (Imouto Paradise, Starless) or have a lot of hardcore-ish 18+ scenes (Euphoria). Just thought I'll mention it in case you are just looking for a normal-ish VNs and doesn't like those genres

The common route is translated and currently undergoes editing and TLC, translation on the remaining girls' routes began as well. We plan to release the trial version first around this summer, which contains the whole common route. Full patch will follow afterwards. This is also to ensure the final translation will be released as a quality product, since we want to gather feedback after the trial release. The current estimates are rough, as we plan to deliver a polished, self-extracting patch. Either way, it shouldn't take that long, at least not as long as Biman (hopefully)
We want to thank @Arcadeotic and his team. Euphemic Translations will be providing us with additional help and several QC’s that we would’ve needed sooner or later. Big thanks to everyone who is now involved with the translation alongside us.

A: Ask here and we'll answer with the current progress. Alternatively, we will update the progress chart from time to time.
Q: What is your team's translation speed?
A: Bee does 100 lines per day on average except weekends, technically you can calculate the precise amount of days it'll take to complete this translation (we are too lazy to do it ourselves, lol.)
Q: When are you releasing the patch?
A: The translation will be done in a year, more or less, and the patch? No idea, but definitely faster than Biman.

Strictly speaking, Fureraba is a lovely-dovely, icha-icha-heavy story all about a highschool guy and his GF with dating-sim elements and little else.
If you are looking for something similar to Fureraba, then fruit of grisaia is definitely not it (it's a very good VN though and well worth your time if you are looking for something different)
Frankly speaking, I don't think you can find anything like Fureraba if you can't read non-english VNs.
I think these 2 are some of your best bet (Wagamama is quite a bit heavier on moe than Fureraba. Take note if you don't like this). If you do try IMHHW (Kono Oozora), make sure you install the fan translation as it is miles better than the official Moenovel TL.
Clannad is a emotional tear-jerker story. It definitely does not have the same vibe as Fureraba and I'm not sure if it's what you are looking for.
Lastly, heed the fact that the original Da Capo is an extremely dated VN (not to mention it's extremely expensive when compared to modern VNs). It has severe flaws by today's standards (The route-leading choices are not even clearly indicated. I had to make my own list of which choices lead to which route in order for the VN to be playable). If you want to get into the D.C universe, read D.C 3 instead, or perhaps even Dal Segno, which I think you will like.

Do you prefer branching or linear story-lines to each other, and why? Branching, as I believe all stories are ultimately more satisfying when seen from different perspectives (of course only if they are done right). Also, a lot of story-focus VNs have to have branching routes incorporated into the title by default because of how they are written; can you imagine Rewrite being told from only 1 perspective?
Are there some other advantages/disadvantages that multiple-route VNs have compared to linear stories, and do they matter to you. There is nothing inherently wrong with multiple routes plotges and Linear plotges by themselves. What matters is how the storyline itself is written; I would feel pretty weird having to read Planetarian with multiple routes and Ever17 linearly
Do you think there's something wrong with how VNs handle routes in general, and would you like it to change in some way? A lot of VNs treats multiple routes like alternate times streams instead of incorporating them properly into the storyline. Not a fan of this and wish companies can do more to change this. of course I'm not asking them to 100% the routes into the main storyline/theme, but instead hope that many routes in many VNs doesn't have so many glaring differences 
What branching VNs, in your opinion, would work better if they were linear, and, vice versa, do you think that there are some linear VNs that would work better if they had multiple routes? Can't think of any
Any other things I brought up in my post. One think I can think of is freshness of a long multi route plotge as opposed to a linear plotge. While, like you said, a linear plotge allows for better and uninterrupted character development, in a long title I think I will feel very bored reading about the 2/low number of characters for a long time. Thus, I believe linear titles should always have short stories, while it's almost mandatory for longer titles to have multiple routes.

I don't even know where to begin with this post. It's a new user, who wants to start no less than 7 translation projects, writes nothing about an existing team (is there any?) and the list of positions is copy pasted from anime or manga, which completely disregards that VN translations work differently. In other words this is just a wishlist for titles other people should pick up made by somebody who has no insights in how VNs are translated.
But wait, the fun doesn't end there. The list includes Sono Hanabira ni Kuchizuke o titles, a series Mangagamer is in progress of releasing, meaning if anybody starts on those, MG will likely not be too happy about it.
The aura of professionalism doesn't end there. Nothing is written about those titles and there aren't even links or anything. We will have to do our own research to figure out what they are even about. Also out of the 3 links in the profile, two of them are dead and the third goes to what looks like an empty profile.

Went through 3 different game engines and ultimately went back to Ren'Py. It doesn't look as flashy as Tyrano or VNM, but JAYSUS, it gets the job done. 
SOOOO CLOSE TO A WORKING DEMO. The prologue itself is around 13-14k words, which is roughly around half an hour of play, if one reads fast enough, I'spose.

Really hoping to have the demo ready by the end of THIS WEEK. I'm just waiting for one CG scene to be colored/shaded. 

Snow Sakura. I think people tend to recommend the same VNs over and over. Now I will recommend something, which I have not seen being recommended at all. I feel it's a bit lost to history, which is a shame because it's actually a good one.
The VN is about a guy whose parents goes overseas and he is sent to live with his uncle and his daughter (the cousin heroine). They live in a closed onsen hotel, meaning they have their own private onsen in the backyard. This naturally makes it a natural place to gather with all the friends (mixed gender). He is from a big city (Tokyo?) and the story takes place in rural Hokkaido.
It's a slice of life comedy about the city boy who end up living in the countryside and the locals behave weirdly, yet are very friendly. The comedy is good, appears often, yet it changes often and as such will never repeat itself and get old. The routes contain growing romance with the heroine of choice and then stuff happens and it turns into drama as well. The comedy is also present in all routes, though drama takes priority and comedy and drama will not mix, which would otherwise have killed the drama mood.
 
A bit of background info, which is not really explained in the VN:
Hokkaido is the middle of nowhere by Japanese standards and it's lightly populated, not just by Japanese standard, but in general. All countries in EU have higher population density. It's also in the bottom half when compared to US state population densities. In other words it is extremely rural in an otherwise densely populated country like Japan.
It makes a big fuss out of pointing out they commute to school by train and that it is a really weird train because it runs on diesel. This seems odd as most of the world is familiar with diesel trains. However early electric trains were used in mountains because they were much better than steam at hill climbing and they didn't smoke in the tunnels. Japan being all mountain switched to electric extremely early and since diesels had problems climbing hills early on as well, electric got a more than 50 year head start and absolutely dominated when diesel finally arrived. As a result diesel has never been anything but extremely niche in Japan and most Japanese have never even seen a diesel train. Hokkaido however never electrified and is the only place in Japan with diesel on main lines.
