  1. 5 days from now on 09/13/2016 at 6 PM PDT, you will have the oportunity to bring your support for great justice by backing on Frontwing's next IndieGogo Campaign for exclusive rewards. So keep your eyes on the time: https://www.timeanddate.com/time/zones/pdt and on Frontwing's Campaigns Page: https://www.indiegogo.com/individuals/14210534/campaigns The continuation of Corona Blossom Vol.1: Gift from the Galaxy is almost at hand, the exciting series that by the end of Vol.1 left you begging for more is returning to showcase greatness once again in the title of... Corona Blossom Vol.2: The Truth From Beyond
  2. I see, this is a saddening news as I basically only back the crowdfunding campaigns for the exclusive physical rewards that they offer, I was looking forward to the Kickstarter campaign since the game looks quite nice too, anyways still good luck with the kickstarter campaign nonetheless.
  3. So are you saying that the Kickstarter campaign in terms of rewards will be digital-only?
  4. Because of something that's called a "contract", someone's else already contracted and under NDA for the job.

  6. https://www.reddit.com/r/visualnovels/comments/50nxuv/aroduc_speaks_on_baldr_sky_concerning_recent_game/d75xgvk
  7. If they contracted him for work on Baldr Sky, they are under contract with this translator. You do know that Sekai Project and companies in general do turn down people, right? Selection process and all that? That's part of buisness. Like for example, you have linktriforce007 who tried to get hired by Sekai Project, they turned him down so he got salty about it and started shitposting about them online while spreading conspiracy theories about them and their projects on polish fansub sites. Aroduc also basically got turned down, but in this case it was actually severe because he spent hours translating a game he doesn't even like and because Sekai Project has licensed the title he was fan-translating, which they announced 2 months ago with all likelihood that they already have their own Baldr Sky localization team contracted and in all probability it's all under NDA too, so that leaves Aroduc with a big pile of Baldr Sky fan-translation that he can never use.
  8. Yep, that's the big problem, Baldr Sky is an extremely long game, since he's been working on fan-translating it since 2015 and has been at it until 2 months ago, he might have translated quite a good chunk of Dive 1 (though, he did release Bunny Black and Bunny Black 2 in 2015 and 2016 also). Oh and Aroduc doesn't even like the game.
  9. I don't think we should worry about this anymore, I think that Sekai Project FINALLY figured out that Kickstarter is fine with them selling "denpa versions" (NEVER use any other terminologies, they are trigger words, use the new terminologies "denpa" or "nutaku"), so they won't have to release censored "sekai versions" if the games are originally denpa games, such as Baldr Sky, look here: https://vndb.org/v1306 https://vndb.org/v1913 As you can see, it's only denpa, no sekai there.
  10. They offered him money as a courtesy, if they wanted to be mean they could just have sent him a C&D and that would have been it. Sekai Project is in under no obligation of contracting him for the translation, they probably have their own idea on who they want to work on it and it's not Aroduc. It's really sucks for Aroduc though, but Sekai Project isn't at fault in this. it was Aroduc who took it upon himself to fan-translate it in secret since 2015.
  11. You misread that, please read it again. Sekai Project was not interested in this deal, they offered him some money as compensation, not because they were going to use his work, but as compensation for dropping what is doing because they most probably have plans already, plans that does not involve him or his translation. Remember the similar situation with Chiru Chiru Michiru, koestl and that other fan-translator, that other fan-translator who wanted to make a deal with Sekai Project, but Sekai Project already had plans, plans that involved having the translation done by koestl, not that other person.
  12. See the post by Novel21 and multiple posts on Visual Novels sub-reddit who commented on the assumption that they were. "negotiations", if you can call them that, from what he is saying, Aroduc/Seiha Translations wanted to make a deal with Sekai Project, while Sekai Project isn't interested. That's pretty much it.
  13. You reactionaries aren't even reading the whole post before commenting are you? http://tenka.seiha.org/2016/09/concerning-recent-game-translation-activities/ Aroduc/Seiha Translations is NOT the translator for Baldr Sky, he hasn't been contracted by Sekai Project to translate Baldr Sky.
  14. Yep, pretty much, I have been backing Sekai Project Campaigns since their first Clannad campaign from November 2014, just putting in my pledge while not even putting in comment or anything else and I am pretty sure it is the same for tons of people. Really don't see what there is to complain, you like VNs, well there are basicaly only 3 main publishers that bring in the games in a language that you can actually understand, from there you can choose to buy a product or not, however going on a crusade to crash and trash a company because that it is the hip thing to do in some obscure internet circles is quite revulsing and it makes you wonder what sort of "hardcore fans" would rather spend hundred of hours e-trolling Sekai Project instead of investing that time in playing VN. Meanwhile the prodigious ChronoClock Campaign has reached 37,909 USD pledged (189% funded) 28 hours after it launched (with 28 das left), He! He! He! Haters can keep their salt.
  15. This was not aimed at him specifically, but in reponse to the vocal (and annoying) minority of "unmosaic beggars" by and at large.
  16. No, ChronoClock is presently at 35,488 USD after 20 hours.
  17. Winged Cloud is not a VN company, it is an OELVN company. Apples and oranges. Listen, only very few Eroges companies do not mind having their recent work released in unmosaiced form, there are some exceptions such as Clock Up (which MangaGamer is partenered with) and Empress (which JAST USA is partnered with). But the japanese in general just do not like having their work floating out there in unmosaiced form, if it's an old game in general they probably won't really care though. Corona Blossom is a game made by Frontwing, published by Frontwing and just released with mosaics. Have you all already forgotten about this? https://www.fakku.net/forums/subscriptions/craving-scolding-removal If you can not respect the wishes of someone that has different cultural values than your own, than you might as well either stop whatever it is you think you are doing with VNs or convert it into an OELVN-exclusive hobby. If a japanese dev is fine with having his superior work be desecrated as a way to douse the infernal whims of savages, they will offer the option. Otherwise stamping your foot down uncontrollably while being red faced all the while making incomprehensible noises and yells as a way to pressure the japanese dev into doing something they are not comfortable with is extremely disrespectful and egregious, not to mention it will just build walls and make things worse not better.
  18. He shouldn't give the time of the day to these kind of shitposts but instead should grace them with his silence, it's better to just focus on answering genuine questions and ignore the rest. That's how Tabata deals with the "Final Fantasy XV delay whiners": http://www.vice.com/en_uk/read/in-conversation-with-final-fantasy-xv-director-hajime-tabata-square-enix-gamescom-interview "VICE Question: And what about the reaction to the delay? A small minority of internet dickheads aside, I think those who've been waiting years for this game aren't about to kick up a stink over two more months. Tabata Answer: I know that people have different opinions on what we've done here, but I do try to avoid the forums where people say things without having to take any responsibility for doing so. I much prefer to listen to the opinions of journalists, and speaking to fans face to face about things. That's where I think the most valuable information comes from."
  19. "Hardcore fans" Pah! It's the same people who thinks themselves as self-appointed critiques, who all the while bitch and moan whitout giving a cent. The fans are the ones providing money to make the campaigns a success and help make the best out of the games releases, the silent benevolent majority are the true fans, not the whiny plebs who constitutes a vocal minority that just wastes their and other people's time complaining about anything and everything.
  20. Works for me, works for them and all the people that have backed the project and will back the project during the remaing 29 days. That still remains to be seen, but they are probably hoping so.
  21. Sekai Project already confirmed that it will be mosaiced.
  22. What tier did you back for that one? What do you mean by "uncensored"? If you are refering to mosaiced or non-mosaiced, then the answer is that the denpa version is going to be mosaiced.
  23. That will skew the data. To compare it properly, they would need to face-off the sales of a 18+ Nutaku exclusive compared to the sales of a 18+ Denpasoft exclusive.
  24. An OELVN about Idols? It immediatly got me thinking of this: https://vndb.org/v19322 You guys got competition!
