This vn has definitively piqued my interest. Additionally having a asshole protag is more of a pro than a con in my mind haha. Looking forwards to more of your thoughts on the vn.

One of the greatest fantasy writers of our time, if not the greatest.. I am sad he has passed, but his works still stand as a monument of his accomplishments.

My knownledge and experiences changes over time so my tastes changes over time as well.. Honestly scoring stuff is a flawed system. You could like use a definitive system and adjust your scoring with that. But for me that's ludicrously mechanical to do, not fitting for personal use. Ofc you should think in that line of thought if you want to review for others. I just vote my scores how I enjoyed the vn as a whole. Most of the scores go from 7-9. Overly high I perhaps, I choose the vn's I know I'll prbly like otherwise I drop them due to being bored. In my mind, if you vote a vn 6/10. It means you are painfully bored a large amount of time or the vn is majorly flawed in your mind. Under that it feels like it's a pain to read. Due to that's the way I vote my opinion change and so does my taste... Pretty much I could change multiple entries on my vndb list if I wanted to.. But it also feels wrong to change it months/years after reading the vn. Now that my feeling for the vn has cooled down. So I leave them most be.. lol. Otherwise I'd just have to keep changing the list all the time also, all that work lol.

I agree, this is a great anime. Impressive how much they can put in 6 eps lol.

I found the story novelette you wrote rather endearing. I like to read your posts in bulks as well same as LinovaA. As I want to know what happens next, reading it bulk is much more comfortable then. Also Keikaku doori lol.

I've read through the vn now, I only read a few omakes as I felt the story was well finished and I didn't want more. I felt it was a satisfying read. But I liked the first 3 routes more due to the others felt more repeating of some of the themes. The feels hit pretty hard on some moments so I ended up crying multiple times in the vn :'(　ぐすぐす I think the vn gave a good run with the experience in the setting. The other elements also was naturally good and kept the story going. A vn like this could easily have a waaay to long common route, it luckily has a perfect size imo, short that is lol. The routes gives a nice display of different lines of thoughts in the heroines. I had to wryly smile to myself when I found out which heroine I felt fit my line of thoughts in some ways. It felt nice to dwell into the experience of the story because of that. As some of the characters had some real human mindsets. The immortality setting put a nice change of view in the characters than you'd normally expect. It made it easier I suppose to separate the differences in the characters and thus understand them more. And in a way yourself too. Some spoiler talk:

Son (尊) is possibly the best girl in the series It brings me glee that you can enjoy the game and enjoy the learning experience. I did the same back when akatsuki no goei was one of my first jp vn's to read as well.

So far I am very interested in seeing detailed how a lot of stuff might develop, and the conclusions. I decided to try the vn out, so far I've read the common route I think. Went pretty smoothly into miyako's path as you said lol. The comedy, characters, setting and interactions is resonating surprisingly well with me. Enjoying the vn a lot so far.

Miu and Miyako is perhaps my favorites from the first looks. Rofl copter loli's are always a joy to me. Kinda weak to the shy dere heroines as well..

Hahaha, very nice joke. I prbly laughed out loud a lot more than I should have by that. Nice part 2, a short capable common route and low fillers for the heroine routes. I really like the feel of the vnw is giving off by your descriptions. The setting and characters in it.

Ah, that vn is from purple soft. I had a similar problem with Hapymaher, I am guessing they have the same game engine. The way I got Hapymaher working might help.. The engine has a 64 bit version and a 32 bit version. Use 32 bit version, I am guessing the exe is called cmvs32 in the game folder. In graphics settings don't use pixler 2.0 or 3.0 settings. If it still can't find any hooks.. You could try the custom H-codes for Hapymaher, no idea if they will work tho. /ha-c@448FF0 or /HAC@48FF3:cmvs32.exe Here is a small faq to some fixes to vnr, maybe it will help.

I've always been for the pre-patched torrents from the start. A major issue with vn's for new readers is to find/download and them working.. So to decision to move away from that is.. Regrettable, in my humble opinion. I hold a similar opinion as Nayleen. Even if removing torrents is a blow for now. If we are able overcome that, fuwa will no doubt be stronger than ever. This is not really anything new, fuwa has changed lots of times. Overcome it each time. I believe it's resourceful enough to do so again. I realize my positivity side sounds like a standard template for a politician speech. Still I think it's true, so I'll keep it lol. Also, it's not like the most of the vn's will disappear from the Internet. You can find most if you look for them, nyaa works most of the time. It's more a problem for newbies than old timers.

I'll drop it if it's shit. Or if I can't get into the characters or story.. I am much more fair now days than a few years ago. I would think a vn was dirt if it didn't have elements I liked. Now I try different stuff when I feel like trying something else. Otherwise I read the stuff I know I will most likely like. I am spend some time looking into the vn before I try it out, reading reviews and looking at scores.. As I will play it for many hours, I don't want to waste my time playing stuff that's low quality or totally out of my preferences.. Biggest problem is if I can't connect to the protag. If he is completely boring or stupid it's outright horrible to read.

Completed Tokeijikake no Ley Line -Tasogaredoki no Kyoukaisen Good stuff, it is rather short though. This vn was almost like a anime in some ways. Simply put the setting, development of story, characters and comedy is very much in the spirit of anime way of doing things. It is on the easy side to read because it has mostly anime like dialogue. Quite little use of advanced words considering it's a vn.. The story is mainly the theme around magic objects at the school. The protag and 2 others characters in a special invstiagations group try to solve out the mysteries, often connected to magical objects. It is investiagtions like setting, so they try to find stuff out. Talk to people and try to fix the problem that arise. The characters are great, I found them hilarious very often. The drives the characters to new situations and interesting enough story developments. Most of the characters main characters got their fair time in the story and used it well. Made them develop and get interesting in a short amount of time. Still you get the feeling there isn't much depth left after that. But you doesn't really matter as another character is in the spotlight by then. Protag is good, so he doesn't drag down the story. He keeps it at the level with the other characters. The route system is story chapter based with the true route at the end. G-senjou system basically. Side routes are more for lolz than anything. They are hardly that long and I found them fun because I didn't take them seriously. BGM is very good imo. It has a few tracks that I would say was great. I just stopped reading just to listen to it for a while. Art is good stuff overall, detailed and nice colors and smoothness. I don't like how the sprites are drawn originally on the small side and they keep zooming in on them. Annoying, as it makes them look low res.. Enjoyble ride, most good factors of this vn was the comedy, characters, and anime like story setting. Characters and comedy are the main drives in this vn, the plots adds focus on spesific characters and mysteries. Keeps things interesting and fun going. I'd score it something around 8/10.

There are loads of good Headphone makers around. If you had the cash I'd recommend a high end open headphone with a DAC at the side, maybe with a amp depending on the cans. But that's not what you want so ok. Gaming headphones have a big advantage of the locational of audio. Hearing footsteps etc, so if that's your priority I agree you should choose ones for gaming. I'd recommend staying away from the more half-assed attempts at making them imo, as almost everyone makes these kinds of headphones.. Personally I'd go for sannheiser. If you can try them out as well that's ideal. Because you'll prbly have them on for a while, it's nice to check if they fit your ears and head.
