She's not deredere. She turns dere at some point, but that's all "classic tsunderes", that's what that means. They go from full hate/disdain, to full love mode. Classic Tsundere is fine. Also, listing any of that as a spoiler is awfully silly so I'd make it a non-spoiler.

I mean, it's definitely not the best VN I've ever read.  It has several flaws, but it's definitely worth reading in spite of that.  One of those flaws' is named Isuzu Aoi, whom I loathe.  Seriously, worst heroine.  Anyway, it kinda of stuck a cord with me, since Komomo's issue is pretty similar to something I've had to deal with previously in life.  Can't really say anything else without spoiling it, but...even though it seems like a generic slice of life romcom, it's not.  Once you get to Komomo and Kosame's route, that'll become pretty clear.

The common issue with most otakus is that they do not reach beyond their point of interest, which makes them susceptible to any kind of bullshit creators of these mediums shove down their throats, no matter how absurd they are. It often makes them biased and unable to perceive differences, or truth. I'm actually glad there's a bunch of people around these corners, who know a thing or two beyond just chit-chatting about favourite waifus and Majikoi; it provides some sort of a ground for reasonable debates.
 
I like heroines with deep personalities and these can't evolve without some sort of a solid trigger. Traumatic backstories and troubled pasts often accompany them like a shadow.

Hey guys, short time lurker and first time poster. Big fan of the community here and glad that VN fans can have a place to talk about stuff . Anyway a while back I started doing reviews of games, originally I didn't intend for it to be VNs/Dating Sims but as time has gone on I've found myself covering them more and more. 
 
I try to do quick, informational but entertaining reviews that give a recommendation as to whether or not you should try/buy the game. Dunno how successful I am though.

Anyway I'd appreciate any feedback or suggestions about how I could improve, or games I could cover.

I think from an organizational perspective it makes sense to include the recommendation forum as a subforum of VN talk. Having said that, I think the recommendation forum's visibility is a more important thing to consider. It looks like a lot of the topics are made by new users and people who only visit the forums a handful of times, so having it where it currently is at the (near) top of the page is a good place for it to be. Also like you said, we are a visual novel community. It is good to see the Visual Novels Discussion section look more robust.
 
As an aside I always thought the Community and Support Section would make make sense to precede the Other Discussion section, but that's not really an earnest suggestion given how used to the current layout I am.

Made http://fuwanovel.info redirect to the main page and set up http://beta.fuwanovel.info instead. Apart from missing recently added/changed database entries, that's what it'll look like.
 
Some texts changed, stuff got ripped out, so it looks really barren in some places (2/3 "browse" sites don't have anything in their sidebar, since the guest comments are gone entirely). Featured games on the frontpage are probably going the way of the dodo as well, meaing we either need new filler content or I really should start working on a new, somewhat slimmed down layout. Then again, I really liked it at 1024px.

That's batshit stupid. It's difficult to stomach we still live in a time were certain companies (*cough* Nintendo) are resistant to the concept of Let's Playing. I can understand the view that LPs might take away an incentive to buy solely story-driven games and narrative works like VNs and I know that they're within their rights, but its still a punch to the stomach of the fan communities behind the games.
 
Your projects add a lot to this forum andI hope you'll continue to enrich the community here with them, Ren. This place wouldn't be the same without all the hard work you put into it.

On a whim I decided to watch Noragami on Netflix last night. I thought it was pretty decent, but it left me wanting for a more fleshed out setting.

I saw Tay do this a while ago, but don't know if it ever got off the ground. So now I'm going to try. 
 
I will be playing the Sims 3 by building the Fuwa house. You will populate the home. As a god, I will attempt to lead you all to happiness, but also dole out punishment for those who misbehave. I will allow the most freedom possible to your characters while also exercising some role playing powers to keep the flow of the narrative going. Think of it as a weekly reality show. 
 
Every week, I will update this thread with new screenshots with narration of what has transpired. Everyone will begin unemployed and have to find some sort of work. On special occasions (breaks from school or lack of classwork) I will attempt to stream as well. 
 
So want to be in the Fuwa House? If so, just give me the information in bold. Try to remain as close to your forum personality as possible to make things a little more interesting. To start off with, I will need a total of 4-5 people. They will all share a home together. I need both male and female characters in order to populate the world. If we get more than 4-5 people, I will make a second home and control both. This is how we will make VNs popular in the west. Via Fuwa babies.
