At this state, while my post earlier said that I wish @OriginalRen good luck, I also had some doubt to be honest, so let's just said that I'll give him time to prove himself until December. After that, called him anything with hate mail or anything harsh to @OriginalRen is no matter anymore to me lol (Well, he didn't care too anyway).
@Maxel Personally I think your post was more expressed disappointment very much after you hype for Aokana (Usually the one who dared to express his anger expressively was the one who look forward the most). Although I understand you anger, I think it's useless to express your anger since he was also take hiatus from Fuwanovel. Either way, my suggestion just calm yourself down and waiting until December. And if you didn't satisfied with that, after December you may called this 2nd Dracu Riot fiasco. Oh, sorry to said this, but your post was to be very honest very very slightly annoying to me, you know (I knew that you raise some point in your post though).
@bigfatround0 Interesting point, although I'd never going to /r/vns though, so I'd only check @astro activity from either his Fuwanovel account or his Twitter, and those two was show lack of activity since January so I thinking that he might be inactive. Thanks for the info.
Edit - Since he was back at his site at least, I think let's see it later, and if some of user here interested as well, might try to help. And don't forget to bring this advice "BACKUP YOUR TRANSLATION FILE" to him, okay (Sorry for all caps, but it's important message so this kind of drama didn't happened again). I just took a look at MangaGamer's front page.  It looks the tamest I've ever seen it.  It's covered in pink, which is sort of weird I guess.  As for the mascot, they should've stuck with the wholesome loli.
To solve the issue of a single mascot not fitting everyone's taste, I recommend multiple mascots--one for each section.  That way you can choose a route and cuddle the one of your choice.  I recommend a smiling loli for the front site and social media to show that the site is family friendly and welcoming to strangers (perhaps too welcoming...), a cool kuudere meganeko for the official blog to show its bookish side, a fiery tsundere for FuwaReviews because of the "tough love", and a warrior girl getting raped by tentacles for the forums.

Not really. Hentai is just 2D regular porn. It is not surprising that anything that even has a hint that it might sexualise children is considered not worth the risk of such a high profile online service in the west. The first one I posted just because I didn't like how one word overflowed into a new text box. Their sentences were full of redundancies  It's one of the first things you learn as a writer, to stop using words that are weak. It was annoying me, I felt like I was ploughing through treacle xD.

If you are reading vns on steam (not everyone but in general) you obviously don't care about censorship or having a complete vn butchered, you do it to gain likes in your funny reviews, that you probably didnt read in the first place you just left the novel open for a hours so it looks like you did, and look cool to the whole world and friends on steam, and maybe if you are really really lucky a cool page like kotaku, IGN or any great great site will grab your comment and paste it in a super ultra profound article of that novel and then you can read the super ultra profound comments on that article about how visual novels are porn. YAY \/
