Hey everyone! My name's Reuben and I'm a new member of these forums. Apologies if this is posted in the wrong area. I'd love if you did post updates every few days or week or two. I recall knowing him, though briefly as I left the boards here. I also was put in the hospital for that week long period and it's BORING as hell in the hospital.  I had low potassiusm and such issues, not a stroke. Did some physical therapy stuff as well, which to be quite honest was not hard. I got released from it my final day, as I'm likely sure they'd make me do it after getting out or make me stay  if they felt I was not ready. Note this was a few years ago now, though. I still take meds for certain things for it.
 
I still wish you and him luck and hope he can get better someday to join his friends on here!

I'm rather new to visual novels and have been seeking out visual novels that are both darker stylisicly and take place in interesting settings or with unique sets of characters. I've been interested in science fiction/cyberpunk or dystopian themed stories recently, though if you think of something outside of those genres I would enjoy regardless, I will certainly look into it!
 
I do not mind NSFW content, but I do not like it to be the main focus of the game. Also understand I only can read in English, I am not super expierenced in other languages.
 
I so far have been recommended Steins;Gate (which looks really intriguing to me) and Cartagra (feel free to list your opinions on those - I have not looked into them quite yet).

Good luck with that project. Unfortunetly, Visual Novel are way too unrecognized here in France, and it may be a way to change that. I'm eager to read/play the final version

We just got 12 new blog entries in the last 4 days. I get the feeling that people actually do look at the New Blogs widget on the forum's front page, but do not look at the main blogs page. Blog views seem to drop sharply as soon as a blog entry leaves that widget. Since the last few days have been so active, it was entirely possible for a blog entry to only have a few hours in the spotlight, before it gets forgotten and nobody views it again. This can be a problem and discourages people from putting effort into their posts. The last few days have been an anomaly, but more people seem to be trying out the blog feature, and if the feature continues to grow in use like you would want, we're going to run into this issue much more frequently. 
 
I suggest one of two things (or both): A scrollbar on the widget so you can see many entries without taking up too much real estate, or expanding the list to include more entries at once. If you are concerned about taking too much real estate, I have one other suggestion, only display the latest weekly spotlight post by Rose, as I don't see much benefit in showing weeks-old posts there.

Hi Im Krills wife Cathy or as he calls me Angel I will gladly give updates on his condition to anyone who ask He is home from the hospital He was released on Monday he was in the hospital 6 days He had about 6 or 7 mini strokes that went undetected and then a much larger stroke that caused alot of damage to his brain He has in one week regained the ability to use his voice to make words eat solid foods and the knowledge of were he is and what year it is Walking Feeding himself Showering unassisted These things he was unable to do by Monday night of last week The day i took him to the hospital he thought it was 1925 He has a severe case of aphasia  His speech has suffered the most he cant recognize alot of things yet but He is going to start therapy this weekend to regain as much of all that back as possible The drs say he will regain alot back but there was quite a bit of damage from the strokes that killed brain cells and areas of the brain so there are things he will never get back 

I think that it would be a great idea. This game its one of the most desired visual novel of this year, so it would be pretty obvious that as soon as the game is released, a lot of fans would want to start a translation team and begin working on Angel Beats right away.

Project Introduction

Hello there. Here is my first ever VN project/ I have been working on a story of mine for about a year and recently decided to get involved seriously about it. I have been working on several parts of the project, being a director, developer, scenarist, writer & game designer at the same time. I like it though.
The team has been working a lot since we got together & we're lacking a GUI designer.
 
We're planning on advertising our project at Japan Expo in Paris (3 to 5 of July), and we are working on a promotional video for it.


"In a world where nuclear energy has the upper hand in everything and the sky has been obstructed by pollution, a part of humanity still hopes in finding happiness. As the country is being cracked between the military forces of the police and the mafia, a new social class is born. Neo Aristocrats, as they call themselves, pretend that the current reality exists only because of humanity's love for evolution and consumption. Imprisoned in gigantic cities made solely for themselves, they keep refusing reality and focus their whole life on studying ancestral traditions and cultures.
Ethan, an average yet shrewd Neo Aristo student, lives a happy but unnaturally repetitive life with his friends. Weeks pass with no change. Everything gets overwhelmed when he meets the likes of Alice, a beautiful yet mysterious girl. You read it right. We've all played memorable Visual Novel games that won't forget, the ones that were just great in the aspects we value the most, being it storyline, creativity, character design, innovation, humor, great endings....
but there are also the ones which are also memorable... in a negative way. And that's I want to look into this time. I am looking to see what the community values the most and despises the most about VNs, what gets people going and what ruins it.... And what the hell, it looks like fun.
 
The funny thing is, the most popular VNs out there, the ones that are full of positive reviews are usually not that great to me, even some like Shuffle! that I simply couldn't even get to the end of it because of how tedious, predictable and just silly all around the plot was. It must have been the first VN I ever cried to... I was bored to tears!
On the other hand, the dark ones that nobody's ever heard, qutie unknown are usually the ones I like best. Yeah, I'm the hipster of VNs, lol.
 
 
So, give me your worst! If I get an interesting suggestion and play it, I would probably post a review somewhere about it. Just one note: No gay/lesbian/sadistic please.

If I'm to play any of the winning titles I'll have to wind up pirating them...; ~ ; So many guilty feelings.

All torrents from Fuwanovel were effectively removed and any torrents with the word Fuwanovel on them indexed on any websites are not endorsed by us.

Yeah, the removal of torrents was a miiiighty big change for Fuwa indeed. Tay's got a whole list of things he plans to do / is doing right now though as compensation~

Interestingly enough, one of new rules for the forums is 'no linking or mentioning sites that provide torrents / illegal downloads' soo idk if we can create such a blacklist of sites, but in general we've been telling people to avoid ALL downloads that include the [Fuwanovel] and pre-patch
