I've picked up Trinoline and spent the afternoon reading it. 
Is this the most frustrating piece of fiction in existence? I can confidently say that no other VN, anime or whatever has made me rage so hard, so many times, in a suposedly unintended way. And I'm just about 6 or 7 hours in. 

Well I finished MYTH after a little work related delay, and thoroughly enjoyed it! It truly was a gem and rather different from what I normally read. I'm thinking I may finally begin Higurashi next as I've read elsewhere that its similar and could do with a little more mind f**k.

It's been a long time since I updated on my progress here, so here we go.

So, I finished both Bodyguard routes and about the half of Adage's route, and, unfortunately, while the second half of the common route was pretty great, the character routes made me completely disappointed, so I decided to drop this game. Well, this game does have some very good points, mostly in how it handles its route setting, and the setting is also quite unique (though, after finishing both routes focused on Liberaritas, I still have pretty shallow understanding of how the Depth's society functions. The plot might be pretty interesting at times, though its mostly meh due to mediocre characterization. That leads me to the next point - the part that broke the game completely for me is the characters. When it comes to the love interests, basically every one of them follows some very common anime archetype without having any additional depth at all. The female protagonist is a bit better, but not by much. I find it quite funny that, while the story tries to present her as proactive and 'badass', in realty she is actually the weakest protagonist in all four otome I tried so far. She is completely useless in pretty much everything that does not involve fighting with a sword, and even that is a completely useless skill in the world dominated by guns. Her personality is also kind of bland. I mean, these qualities don't necessarily make her a bad protagonist, but this type of mc is simply boring to follow around, and the heroes who could save the situation make it even worse.
So, in the end, this VN made me pretty disappointed with otome genre in general. I already tried to get into the genre four times, but, while there were a few good games, none of them really made me impressed as much as some male-oriented VNs or as some works in the other anime-style media. Don't know, maybe I'm just unlucky. I will still try to read more otome in the future. But now I'm keeping my expectations at minimum.

Finished Seinarukana for the second time, now following Satsuki's route. This game turned out to be even more linear than Aselia, but there was a major deviation at the very end, and I personally prefer this ending a lot more that the one in Nozomi's route. It also would work a lot better as the first ending, imo. Nozomi's ending would feel a lot more complete if I finished her route after this one.
Overall, my impression over this game as a whole did not change. The plot is pretty mediocre, but it's fun to follow and is saved by good gameplay. The worldbuilding is on-top, as always, though it feels kind of incomplete so far: a lot of things weren't explained very well, though there are still other routes. The gameplay is fun, at least if you try to get the SS rank. I guess, it would get a bit too easy otherwise. It suffers a lot after the addition of a certain character who is a bit too OP (literally, she can basically finish whole missions by herself), but this problem naturally disappeared in the hard mode.
6.5/10. I will try to finish it another time to get the true ending, and I think I will skip the other routes.

I'm playing Cross†Channel, I've played for more than 12 hours and most of the time I don't know what is going on. Is it normal?
Myth is truly unique and I haven't seen anything like it. I love the concept.

I said that I tend to avoid physical editions, but actually Cruise Sign is first physical VN that I bought (second one being To Heart PSE)

As far as I remember, the H-scenes don't add that much to the plot. Well, technically one of them does but the all ages version gives you all the information you need to follow the plot.

Just finished Ever17 and i certainly need more visual novels like this in my life!

I decided not to go back to Chrono clock just yet Wei123 and pushed forward with some Grisaia.
I'm not as far through Meikyuu as would have liked, spent far too much time onboard this trip due to broken generator circuits... several full earths I had to chase down. Anyhow I just wanted to say that the first Asako/JB H scene was truly spectacular, genuinely hilarious to the point of weeping eyes in places. I think I'm about halfway so will probably advance onto Rakuen this trip.
Although after seeing several fan art CGs I'm really interested in Hapymaher; so maybe that'll be on the cards next (when I'm home).

Little Michuru was truely awesome, sad route ending. I did Makoto, Michuru and Misaki, couldn't be arsed with DD, but maybe the weird attempt to be British turn me off; is it worth fighting through just to get Cro's route?
 
Wei, i just noticed you're reading Ef, I loved eden has it got a similar vibe?

I'd say it is - Cro's route was good, and pretty emotional too. Also, loved Michiru's route. Actually, DD's route wasn't bad either, you just have to get used to her weird speech (and its equally weird "reversed" translation style)
BTW ToHeart also has similar character - half-American blonde girl, Lemmy, who tends to throw random English into her speech.

But she doesn't do it in a exaggerated way like DD, it just slips out I find her pretty likable. But then, I started to wonder, if one wanted to make english version of this VN* - how to approach it? Some people propose to leave English as it is, but use capitals or italics or sth... but then I encountered one scene that would be pretty untranslatable. They are talking about tests, and it went somewhat like this:

BTW it's interesting how writers portrayed Lemmy's weird speech, as apparently she speaks with foreign accent, so her lines are weird mix of English, kanji and katakana. (VN was intially unvoiced)

Welcome back! I finished Chrono Clock last month, and while I generally dislike SoL, I somewhat enjoyed reading it. All routes were okay, but I liked Michuru's route the most. 
While I would also recommend Subahibi, it's for a whole different reason altogether (mystery). I wouldn't say it's similar to Lucy at all ; it's more similar to Umineko.  Can't comment on Himawari since I haven't read it. The most similar VN to Lucy is Planetarian, but you've already read it.

As for the robot girls...
Ame's route from Dal Segno may also apply if one looks for onion-filled story with AI girl.

DS was one of the very first VNs I've read, and this route was probably the first one that made me really crying...
However it is unlockable route, available after completing all others first.
I haven't read Lucy yet, but I loved Planetarian.
I wonder how Multi's route in ToHeart will turn out. Some say that she's the best character in whole game And based on the interactions with her in the common route, I already like her

Looked at the future event release in the wikia and apparently, the next event in the NA server rewards you with a Sakata Kintoki(Rider). Now I feel  so stupid for wasting my 3M DL ticket on Marie (should have went for Emiya or Elizabeth).

You see, it isn't exactly that I was THAT lucky. I used Nox with 4 instances running (my poor laptop can't handle more lol) and a macro to automatize the process. I kept it running for 8 hours a day for 3 days, at a pace of 4 rerolls per hour, 32 rerolls per day, so 96 rerolls in total. I looked at this list: https://grandorder.gamepress.gg/5-star-tier-list to know which servants are considered good. I would accept any placed tier 3 or above. Let's count those who are available at the story summon: Francis Drake, Tamamo-no-Mae, Zhugen Liang, Jack the Ripper, so 4. Each one has 0.076% chance, according to the summoning info in-game, so 0,304% chance of pulling either of those. Using a binomial distribution, you get that the probability of getting any of those in 96 rolls is 25%. Still lucky, I'll admit, but it's not like I did a yolo summon and got a good SSR

Ever since Sekai Project acquired the license for Maitetsu, there has been discussion, speculation and hope among the internet; "Sekai Project, will there be an 18+ version?". "Sekai Project, where is the adult version?". "Sekai Project, will we receive those hardcopies on time this go around?" and so on.
But I - as well as many others - highly doubt that this will happen. Therefore, I am quite confident to announce the following bet:
 
IF Sekai Project (not a fanbased translation group) confirms a full1 18+ version of Maitetsu at any point between now and the official release, I will change my current Avatar to one voted by community2.
This is the one time chance for the community to break my status as an eternal user, who has not once changed his avatar. 
However, should I win the bet, everyone who bet against me will have to wear the TexasDice avatar for 1 week.
