I've got a bunch of Japanese VNs for consoles and portables. My latest one is Golden Time - Vivid Memories Limited Edition (with that super sexy model, google it!). I also have the PS3 version of Muv-Luv Alternative. Limited Edition. Uh .. I know one or some of the Attack on Titan BD volumes have a VN to what I heard. I own all 9 volumes. Can't remember what else I have .. They are all factory sealed, too. Haven't popped anything. I'm planning to get Schwarzesmarken Limited Edition for PC when it comes out, or the First Press (if that's what they call it) as long as I can order it online.

VerseQuence - Melodies. Sold my soul to the lyrics. I love Vocaloid so much even my co-workers know about it and think it is a really weird thing to have as a hobby. I download almost all Vocaloid songs, with Hatsune Miku being my number one songstress. My young sister is into Vocaloid as well and she listens to it more than me. Luka is her favorite. I've subscribed to one of the RSS feeds that links me to download any new Vocaloid songs out there. My Music folder is about 60% of all Vocaloid stuffs! So who else is an avid Vocaloid lover?

^ Agree 100% with what Ang said. Manga does a hell of a better job since there is no restriction (anime has an episode of which 20+ minutes is imbedded, basically it is restricted to that allowed time). Manga doesn't excel always but in a lot of cases it overcomes Anime.

The 2011 version looks to be a full remake I'm guessing. And seeing Kimi ga Nozomu Eien untranslated is heart pounding -sniffs- Thanks, though.

Does Captain Isumi come from another medium? Like another novel or something? Here she's talking about a love triangle against her sisters. I'm wondering if they ever show her back-story somewhere.

I enjoy both because both have something that the other may not have. There are several mangas that I really - DEEPLY DYING - to have animated. The first and foremost is Koe no Katachi. If April is a Lie (premiers 2014 October) is going to be a hell of an amazing drama, then Koe no Katachi will make real men know the screw ups they did. Especially those of men and women who intentionally acted tough and displaced others. Give Koe no Katachi a shot. At least the first chapter will suck you in dry. Kimi no Iru Machi. I want a remake and not a shitty ass half-baked series. The last two OVAs were good and I kinda liked them but they were untrue to the original source nonetheless. What I did like about the second OVA is how they showed a whole new perspective from Eba's side which was never viewed in the manga. Though some people don't like the Tokyo Arc, I loved it very much. That's the real generator to ultimately define the gap in time and how a person's feelings changes regardless of how they want to do things - and it will resurface when the time comes. Yuzuki Eba is one of my favorite characters. I like her a lot. So I'd like to have an anime that is true to the source and of course skipping parts is acceptable, but altering shit around is sometimes not acceptable when the story is so bad and the time gap is inferior ... Anyways, the manga is great. Give it a shot. Good Ending. Really good story. Nice characters, freaking amazing - amazing art just like Kimi no Iru Machi but on a different level (gotta love those amazing eyes and anatomy). The ending wasn't so good though :/ I forgot the names of the characters, but the way things progressed was really cool. Teenage drama-shit is pretty hilarious from an adult's perspective sometimes. Hmm, I think that is it. Art is important in anime, manga and visual novels. Light novels always have great art so that's out of question. I look forward to more amazing stuff in the future. I'll take any recommendations in a form of PM to me.

Oh hmm, it does say an after story from Altered Fable though. So isn't that new? I assumed it is. :/

The best choice to allow necroing could be divided into three categories. One and most importantly - If it is actual news. For example, a new anime was announced. Few days later, more information was released. Within those periods no one posted on the thread so obviously this would be subjectively marked as important. Obviously, post links to your sources. Second and Third categories would be similar to the thread being pushed back or ignored/not noticed by others. One option is if the thread gets pushed back to the second page then the person can kick it back up. Or/and the person must wait a period of 2 or 3 days if they want to bump the thread back up to the first page.

Yeah, I think I'll wait for the PC versions to come out. Crunchy, are you able to read Japanese? I'll be waiting for Schwarzesmarken and I'm glad it's on PC. That goes back in 1983 where the first Alternative III plans got executed. I've seen several of those Alternative characters plus the whole story is in Europe. If it's not on Fuwa, it's on Nyaa. Nyaa has basically, and literally, everything.

.... I'm gonna admit one thing. I suck at making ramen, noodles, and stuff like that. I'm serious. I freaking suck at it! I really, really, dying - so dying to make a proper Yakisoba. :/ ... I live in the US so my ingredients limited to what we have here. Though I know Shop & Save carries a lot of Asian ingredients. What type of noodles do I need for Yakisoba? How to cook them properly?

^ I haven't made Tempura yet (at all). I've done things like Chicken Curry (favorite) and Beef Curry - both Japanese styles. Tasted great. I use Botan rice. It's Japanese, though I can't confirm if it was imported directly from Japan. I can make miso soup which is easy to do. Lets see. I've never done proper sushi rolls. I don't understand how to perfectly align the rice on the seaweed. But back to Tempura. I really gotta try that. I know it tastes good. I've tasted it in different restaurants. What type of ingredients should I use for a Tempura? I know I have to get Tempura package first so that's available all over my area.

Sup ... while I'm starving to death here, I'd like to see what you guys are capable of cooking. Keep it strictly to Japanese foods! So what can you guys cook? If you want to give us some details (ingredients used, cooking methods, etc) then by all means. And go!

Necroing should have a real purpose to it. Also, if the thread is a "general discussion" thread then that shouldn't fall under necroing unless the person says something like "bump" or whatever. Say we have Kimi ga Nozomu Eien thread that is generally about discussing it then it should be left open for general discussions. In fact, it would be even much better if everything - including questions, comments, thoughts, whatever that is related to Kimi ga Nozomu Eien to be included inside the thread to keep things cleaner and easier to find. It would be wiser to keep things organized rather than being all over the place.
