  1. Yay for late news! Seriously though, you guys didn't know about the wonderful new system that the benevolent government has created? A quick google search shows it was reported by the BBC over 40 days ago, and smaller outlets 60 days. Just another chalkup to "it's China".
  2. It's because whoever did the name change failed to mandatorily change his title to "formerly _______" like a damn screwup.
  3. This sounds exactly like me, except I'm more extreme. I walk around campus while it's snowing in a T shirt and cargo shorts. Kids walk by me looking at me like I'm fucking crazy. I give them the cocky arrogant grin back at them and watch them shirk away. It's actually incredibly amusing to see them view me as an extraterrestrial alien. I giggle about it all the damn time. It's just as amusing when it's raining. Because I never carry an umbrella, they give me obtuse looks. I should really come up with a shitty one liner somehow incorporating bad math puns about making frowns into smiles. Once I say it I would push their cheeks upwards, give them a psychopathic smile and hop skiddley doo away, leaving them utterly baffled.
  4. This sounds... Excellent. I look forward to how you actually see me. You just know it's going to actually influence my character in some way.
  5. Was it the 4 pin plug on the board? The one generally in the top left? Yeah, me and my friend forgot the exact same thing upon testing the board he just bought before we socketed and mounted everything. Turns on for a second or so, then right back down. I honestly can't imagine it being paste though. If you are Intel, the processor will automatically undervolt to prevent excessive heat buildup. I've never had a BSoD due to overheating in my laptop even when my processor managed to melt my keyboard ribbon.
  6. I would honestly put off gate until the second season comes out. As it is now, it stands with incompleteness. For me, I would totally recommend Prisma Ilya. The entire damn thing is probably the best Fate anime. You asking this has ironically forced me to go back and look at the lists. Winter: I actually didn't finish a single damn one. WOW. I sorta dropped the ball on this one. I might have to go back and do a repeat and make some actual opinions. However, looking at the list I'll probably finish these series: Death Parade, Junkestu no Maria, Tokyou Ghoul Root A (uncensored BD release), Dog Days" Spring: Kekkai Sensen/Blood Blockade Battlefront: Holy shit did I walk in with low expectations because of the words blood meaning vampire. While the show itself isn't exactly stellar, I found compelling moments in it where I can distinctly remember feeling nostalgia about Cowboy Bebop. I have no fucking clue how it managed it, but this show was thoroughly enjoyable as a result, and I can't exactly say no to watching it. Punchline: God damn, this show was just pure ecchi humor with an overly serious plot line. Everything it did amounted to "yeah, we are taking this way too seriously, except when we aren't, so laugh, okay?" This was the show of this season that I actually looked forward too every week just so I could continue laughing at it's own built up meta absurdity. UBW 2014 2: If you watched the first season, you probably already watched the second. It's UFOTable, and while not their best work, it still was unlimited in budget. Summer: Prisma Ilya Zwei Herz: My fucking anime of the year. All biases are in, and this one was thoroughly enjoyable through and through. As a Fate fanboy, the love letter parody turned serious, this show hits every damn nerdgasm I have about the franchise and makes me giggle in giddyment. If you like the Fate/Nasuverse at all, you are pretty much missing out on maybe the best single piece of fanfiction/spinoff ever created by not watching this. FUCKING WATCH IT. Gate: I've already said to wait on watching for the second season. It's going to be airing in less than a month probably. But if you honestly can't resist, the show is simply fun. I can't really say more. It's just fun. Oh right, they somewhat ruined it depending on who you ask because of the character design making everyone look ~5 years younger than they should, but most of the essence of the series is still there. Would more recommend reading either the manga or the books though. Rokka no Yuusha: This one was interesting to say the least. I felt it was too dragged out for what it was; 12 episodes for one single volume of light novel. If you can get past what was probably glacial pacing when compared to the rest of the light novel adaptations in the industry, you find yourself amused by the constant mind games this series attempts to set up. Fall: The only two shows I'm currently watching at the moment: Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry/Chivalry of a Failed Knight: This show is probably the best romance you will find in the popular shounen action cum romance subplot genre aside from Highschool DxD (novels). The entire show makes realistic use of buildup and trope payoff combined with excellent animation to give an entirely enjoyable experience throughout. If you enjoy the genre at all, I would 111% recommend watching it, because it will probably make you realize how different something can be when written with at least some effort. This is setting aside the most recent episode 11, which makes me question the future of the narrative. Heavy Object: It's by the same author and studio who did Raildex. I find it enjoyable, and you probably will too if you enjoyed Raildex. Points of note are that I enjoy Raildex way too much. As evidenced by my avatar. Notes of mention: I intend to watch the following series when they are finished: One Punch Man, Ushio to Tora, K: Return of Kings, Concrete Revolutio Enjoy my trek through this year of anime.
  7. Rakudai this week. I just don't know. Episode 11 was a true toss up. i can totally understand what they were going for, but coming from the perspective of knowledge that it came from a light novel, I can't help but feel that this wasn't how it was executed and that they are rushing the end of it. Quite literally rushing. It's only that one fact that I can not feasibly imagine them skipping so much that I want to believe that this is somewhat how it went in the books, but everything about it is screaming "Ehhhhhhhh!!!" that I can't help but doubt about what the actual author of the books, or the director of the anime was thinking. Progress is fine, speeding it up is fine, but it felt like that if this came straight from the books, that the author thought he was gonna be axed. I can't say I'm a fan of the warp speed that they pushed, and I can't point the blame at anyone either, but comparatively to what has been shown up to this point, with implied time jumps between matches, having this rapid fire "oh hey, we are at the end" leaves a somewhat bitter taste. When the anime is over, and the LN translation catches up, I'm sure I'll have a better understanding, but overall, I would have loved filler time instead of what seems to be shoving an entire volume of a book in two episodes. I guess the one good thing about this series is that it was done by Silver Link instead of Madhouse, which means that even if it doesn't have superior faithfulness to the original, we will probably see a sequel with fair accuracy.
  8. You forgot to have him give the women aids. Turns out that the reason he didn't produce much white stuff is because he didn't have much to begin with.
  9. Delicious delicious guro. The people who can't find entertainment in this, yet find entertainment in this are all hypocrites. It's all entertainment by dismemberment. The amount in this one is simply more.
  10. Confession: I think I just made my saltiest post yet in the light novels thread. There is enough salt there to cure all the meat in my two cubic meter freezer.
  11. Probably. I might be slightly hypocritical if I said I despise drama, but so much of it is forced in the romance genre it's god damn unbearable. As I come out from reading the latest chapter of Urami Koi, Koi, Urami Koi. manga, I once again confirm that I'm entirely fine with drama in where people don't act like retards. It's all consistent with their characters and still makes sense. Most romantic novels seem like Hallmark/Lifetime/Key plots in which they introduce characters, make them play a role, and then proceed to flip the table for drama for no fucking reason. It pisses me off to no end and I got tired of it. So I stopped reading pure romance and switched to action adventure, where even if they shove in the romance card, it is entirely believable if only for the mundane reason of traveling together (enter Slayers). Forced as it may be, it still makes more sense than anything the current hacks of the genre think up. I'll point to the anime of Sakurasou. As much drama that show contained, all of it was understandable and the characters took reasonable courses of action. The author didn't kill someone for drama, and they certainly didn't make the character shy for no fucking reason out of nowhere ToraDora just to build up a dramatic payoff. Instead it made fucking sense. Tl;dr Fuck dramatic romance, Noucome was fun, cliche action adventure still has the most believable romance. :salt:
  12. I found trash. to be far superior guro manga. HNNNG slingshot to the vagina. Best method of defloration I've ever seen.
  13. I was wondering where the faggot went. Any intention of staying for the holidays, or are you gonna burn out again?
  14. When I was 5, my dog died. I laughed. Is that something like your problem? My running gag joke is that I am a robot from the future that was created between the time period of sentience and emotional capabilities.
  15. My issue with Rokujouma no Shinryakusha is that it isn't action/adventure. I can't stand a story without one or the other. Otherwise it feels like entirely pointless drama.
  16. I thought everyone knew? I even posted my pic on the real pic thread and a couple guys were kinda hitting on me on the Fuwanovel chat (or they could be just drunk and would hit on almost anyone). I've always held that the best way to capture you would be NTR. I honestly can't find a more fitting method. Regular hitting on you would never work. Submission and mindbreak are preferred, but optional.
  17. Double post for dramatic effect. Confession: I'm at a friend's house. His mom just got married again. She is like 40+. It's currently midnight. I think I'm hearing moaning from the master bedroom. I'm about to go to bed. This is nightmares fuel. Rip going to bed for a while.
  18. The joke makes more sense with that annotation. Confession: I just thought of the most devious virus ever. It would make a folder, then append your entire file system inside of it. This would break anything that used hard links.
  19. Dra+Koi was fairly short, and I think it fit the description well. I still think of it as one of the few VNs that made an impression on me purely from the sound aspect. Also, I'm totally a sucker for the corny cliche usage it had for the few tropes it did use.
  20. Inb4 rage I actually can't believe he is fleshing it out now. Took him long enough.
  21. If you are asking for the actual light novels in english, you're out of luck, as they haven't been translated. As for the fully translated webnovel, you can find links to it at BakaTsuki.
  22. Mind elaborating on what the fuck happened this past week?
  23. Confession: I just made myself depressed by thinking up the terrible name AbysSaru. Why does this exist. Please tell me. This trick of fate is not amusing.
  24. Stumbled across this one. http://exhentai.org/g/855574/56bd4cc28b/I died laughing at the usual point found in the comments.I mean, I had to stop fapping, and just start laughing. These faces. They're too good. I was like "what the fuck just happened. are they screaming at eachother like baboons?"I love when these appear. It's hilarious to stop fapping and start laughing.
