  1. Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and for this week title because we have Process of Elimination release with a group of detective called Detective Alliance fighting against serial killer, I decided to make a parody from usual title in Kindaichi (And sometimes Conan), so we have 'Detective Alliance Murder Case' as the title. As for this week, honestly speaking it's kind of plain after both of Kunado and Ars Magna release, but on the other hand at least we finally got the release date for Sugar Sweet Temptation along with Sekai gave us some updates. Overall, this week is a below average one, and let's see what I can write in regard of it. For Process of Elimination, the premise is like what I said above with a group of detectives gather in order to fight a serial killer who already killed 100 people called Quartering Duke. Obviously like in any detective story, nothing as easy as it goes, especially with the elusive killer already mingled with the detectives and decided to challange them with Danganronpa like game. So the chaotic situation ensues with some detectives was enticed by the killer challange and then killed the fellow detective, with all hope to put the chaos to the rest by unmasking Quartering Duke is left to the MC Wato who got called as Incompetent Detective. Go get Process of Elimination if you've been interested with it along with have console (NISA didn't release Steam version of this), and have fun. Cherry Kiss announced a nukige with the premise the MC is the subordinate of a female knight, and they'll release the nukige on 21st later. Speaking of nukige, Fakku released the nukige that have both of kitsune and tanuki, and I have no much to say other than it should be a nice release if you want to see a lot of sex scenes featuring kitsune and tanuki. Shiravune announced a nukige with title Hypno-Mart that they'll release in 25th later, and it featuring the MC doing a lot of correction toward the naughty gyaru who work part time as cashier in a convinient store. Love Lab finally announced the exact release date for Sugar Sweet Temptation, and the said exact release date will be on 28th later, so you may note the date if you've been waiting for it. As for the most recent Sekai updates, we have Chiisana Kanojo is at halfway translated along with 20% edited, Hoshizora Kakaru Hashi is at 10% translated, and Sheol is fully translated. There's also the update in regard of engine work for two of their projects, in which we have Imouto no Seiiki engine work is 80% done and Harumade Kururu engine work is 60% done. While it's obvious that Sekai want to work on Imouto no Seiiki engine as soon as possible, it's kind of interesting to see that there's some significant progress with Harumade Kururu engine work, so hopefully it mean that we finally can have it released in the near future. From fan translation, we have H2O is at 44% edited, Tsuma Netori is at a quarter edited, and Koiyasumi is fully edited along with 34.62% edited. There's also White Album update with it is at 17.48% translated, with the most important thing to note is Yuki's route is fully translated and the translator will work on Rina's route as the next route to be transated. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week. PS - I know there's some Sharin update from Frontwing today, but I decided to save the talk about it for my next VNTS Review.
  2. Welcome to Fuwanovel and sorry for the belated greeting. No much to say other than good luck on your first VN project and that you'll have fun in here.
  3. Shana - It's one of influential anime in which there are several characters who are modeled after Shana, in which Shana herself were both short in regard of the height and the temper, and it also help the VA (Kugimiya Rie) being typecasted as that kind of character so much she's known as Queen of Tsundere. That aside, I didn't exactly watch the anime and only know about it through the article and stuffs. Solty Rei - Now that I play Kikokugai, the duo is exactly like that, except that the older man is want to find her missing daughter instead of revenge. The first half of Solty Rei is quite lighthearted with the climax that the older man managed to find his long lost daughter, while the second half is darker due to the main villain take the action after hiding his claw for the first half. Jigoku Shoujo - Also know as Girl from Hell in Animax in which the premise is exactly like Clephas mentioned on top of it being episodic. My sister did watch the two seasons of it, and by Mitsugane she can pick on how it become formulaic with the one who want to sent someone to hell almost always the victim of bullying. Oh yes, it should also be mentioned that the author like to torture the dog as well, in which it was used to show on how bad the target were. Paradise Kiss - It's about a model student Yukari who tired to live under her mother thumb, and one day she stumble across an university faction club with her was invited by the handsome member George. While the anime is indeed has beautiful drawing, the ending itself can be said as quite bittersweet to a degree. Jang Geum - It's known in Indonesian as Jewel in the Palace, and it's quite popular back in 2005. I happen to watch it as well on one of it's rerun, only to have the TV station decided to run a bad Soap Opera when I look forward to the continuation. I don't know if the anime follow the same story or not, but looks like it's quite similar with both has Jang Geum become the cook in the Korean palace and then she met Min Jeong Ho who will be her main love interest. Blood+ - It's about yet another Saya who is a vampire who hunt a creature that was created from the vampire, and out of all Blood anime series this is the longest series with 50 episodes. It's also the one that was mot well received, at least according to MAL. By the way, the story in this series can be simply summarized as Sibling Rivalry because the main villain Diva is Saya's long lost little sister, albeit with some complication. Ginban Kaleidoscope - It's about the aspiring figure skating Tazusa who somehow possessed by a Canadian Pete with him can't enter the heaven for 100 days, and obviously with sharing the body story it come with a number of issue. It also easy to see that both Tazusa and Pete will have a lot of bond within 100 days, so it's quite sad for both of them when the inevitable separation is happening. I still remember that I watch this around July 2007 in Animax, simply because there's an important event for my family around that month. Nanoha A - With Fate (She initially appear in the prequel as the rival in episode 4 end) become friend with Nanoha, obviously both of them are set to become the iconic duo. Also unlike the prequel where the staff did add episodic things to do, A here is instantly starting the main plot with both Nanoha and Fate must face the new antagonist that has the goal to completed the Book of Darkness for their own reason. Black Cat - It's the story about the assassin Train Heartnet who has her first friend Saya was killed by Creed because Creed was fell in love with cold Train and didn't want Train to become warm, although the result is that Train become warm anyway with him doing the journey with newfound friend and thus didn't give what Creed want. The anime is ended differently from the manga, with the manga was ending after Train defeat Creed while the anime has some new story that goes even after Creed is defeated. That's all for what I can write in regard of Fall 2005 anime here.
  4. Well Sengoku Rance is definitely has good mix of RPG and strategy, while at the same time it also has interesting characters and storylines, so obviously it should be a good title to recommend. That said, you forgot one tiny little bit of detail, namely that eushully never develop Sengoku Rance in the first place, but instead it's been developed by Alice Soft.
  5. Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and for this week since we have Kunado Kokuki release with it being set in the same setting as Amatsutsumi with kotodama power and all, I reuse the title 'Code Kotodama' from Code Geass parody and adding 'R2' in order to match the 2nd season of Code Geass anime, so we have 'Code Kotodama R2' as the title. Anyway for this week, if I may comment is that it's an interesting one thanks to Kunado release alone, although for the updates there's no much that I can write about. That said, let's see what I can write in regard of this week. Sekai released a NTR VN, and from what I see it's about a man that interact with Fujiki who is a female high school student. The man also like to imagine Fujiki's downfall, in that it involved being in the relationship with the older man. Feel free to try if you interested with it. Another route for Obedient Women being released, bringing all eight routes to be translated. The newest route here is deal with Kisaragi Sayako who is a housewife that suffer from a lot of sexual frustration because she was unable to have sex with the aging husband. Fakku announced they'll release a nukige on Friday later, and from what I see it's about the MC who come back to his hometown met with both kitsune and tanuki. Frontwing also announced a nukige as well, in which it's the 2nd work of Milk Factory with said company has high production value in regard of their VNs, especially with the breasts. Still no release time for it as of now. This week we have two translation patch for underrated VNs release, with the first one is Princess Cage with the premise that the host MC met up with a mysterious 20 years old woman with the MC will have some sort of relationship. Another release is the translation patch for Gakuen Senki, in which it's the VN from Champion Soft (Alice Soft predecessor) that has the MC being a student council president who've been solving the requests from the students with him slowly approaching the secret behind the school. For the rest of fan translation updates, we have Shin Koihime Musou is at 64% translated, Senmomo is at 95.09% edited with side stories is at 82.81% edited, Tsuma Netori is at 20% translated, and H2O is at 41% edited. The biggest news for this week is obviously Kunado Kokuki release, in which I've been suspected that it'll be available on Steam seeing that Purple Software was drastically reduced the sex scenes to 13 which is about half of sex scenes in Amatsutsumi and Aoi Tori, and yes it's available on Steam as expected. The one who publish Kunado is not either Mangagamer or Sekai, but instead Shiravune which prove that Purple Software is indeed very flexible when it come to their partners. For the premise, we have Shin who was found himself in a world where the metal became sentient, and turned out the world is actually the Earth in 1000 years later with the civilization back to the middle age Japan because of the metal sentient. In exchange, the people did develop super strength to fight the metal sentient, although it cause the people forgot about hope and happiness. After find out what happen, Shin decided to do what he can to teach the people both of hope and happiness even with his memories for the most part are gone. Go get Kunado if you interested with it, and have fun. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.
  6. Late to comment here, @Pallas_Raven, but I suppose it would be better late than never. Anyway as for the side route, I agree that it may help to expand the story or world building, as shown in Suzune's route of Cafe Stella in that her route is focused on the non-supernatural aspect. I should also make a note that Yuzusoft is already started their sub heroines routes tradition starting from Tenshin Ranman, in which generally their sub routes are more or less half of the main routes length. That said, Yuzusoft can also fumbling in regard of the side route, with the most (in)famous example of it is the teacher (Hotaru) route in Noble Works, which if we know usual Yuzusoft side route is not good enough material seeing that Hotaru has less interaction with the MC compared to either Makoto or Chiaki. There's also another example that you can consider, namely Akane from Kirikoi in which she's more or less detached from the theme (Blonde hair). While mod Clephas did ask on why Akane become the heroine instead of either Mina or Ayaka, I think may be the writer want to write the side heroine route with the heroine didn't have connection to the main story, which coincidentally both Mina and Ayaka had (Of course both got their route in the Golden Time (The FD), proving that they're quite popular). It should be noted that the writer also use the same pattern in Tsujidou, with the side heroine is the MC stepsister who is a math teacher while Tsujidou theme is delinquent. Since you mentioned Sukiren, I should also mentioned another example from ASa Project VN. Of course what I'll mention is not something like Momoko or Hama route in that it count as bad ending, but rather what would be happen if the writer manage to write a sub heroine route being too successful. Yes, the exact same thing is happen with Yuna's route in that it happen to be the most romantic route in Royale, which to be fair is not that hard considering that Royale focus is comedy with the main heroines tried to do their best in deliver the gags. Ironically though, it mean that being romantic mean being detached from the theme, and I should also mentioned that I can see the writer did their best to write Yuna's route as much as possible, so much that her position are equal to be the main heroines if not overshadow theme. Well, that's all for my belated comment in regard of this topic.
  7. Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and sorry for being very late here. For the title, because we have Soushin no Ars Magna release with it has alchemy school as the part of the story, I decided to make a parody of Mana Khemia because Mana Khemia also has alchemy school, so we have 'Soushin Khemia: Alchemists of Archeus' as the title with Soushin here is the equivalent of Mana (Both 'Soushin' and 'Mana' are the in-game name of the spiritual creatures that had connection with nature) and Archeus is the place setting of the VN. As for this week, with Ars Magna release I can say that it's an interesting week, although of course we also have several other notable updates beside Ars Magna release, such as Anonymous Code exact release date. Let's see what I can write in regard of this week. Cherry Kiss released Sex x Hex, and well feel free to play it if you've been looking forward into it. Speaking of exact release date, we have JAST and Aksys announced the exact release date for their VNs. As for which VN, JAST will release Sorcerer's Choice on 21st while Aksys will release Koinegau on May 18th later. As for Anonymous Code release date, I did late to know this but better late than never. Anyway, Spike Chunsoft will release it on September 8th later, so you may note the date if you want to play it. It also will be available for PC, so you didn't need to buy the console to play it. Last but not the least, we finally have Shiravune announced the exact release date for Tamayura Mirai, and it'll be on May 12th later. Forgot to mention that we also have Bishoujo Mangekyou 2.5 release, or if you prefer translated title it would be 'Kaleidoscope Beauty: You were the Girl (I Knew) Back Then'. The premise is about a man visited his lover who work as a waitress of a hot spring inn in the middle of the mountain, and in said visit both couple will have a lot of passionate love making. Well go get the VN if you took a liking of Bishoujo Mangekyou art, and have fun. Almost forgot to mention that it's been in the working ever since 2016, so it's nice to see that it finally fully translated even if it taking almost seven years to have it. For the rest of fan translation updates, we have Senmomo is at 94.63% edited with side stories is at 81.2% edited, Tsukihime Remake Ciel's route day 11 is finalized, Yahiro's rute of Haruka na Sora is fully TLC-ed with Sora's route is at halfway edited, H2O is at 38% edited, and December When There is No Angel is fully translated with TLC work of it has begun. We also have White Album translation project, as in the first White Album in which it didn't have the connection with WA2 except for the vocal songs. The premise for White Album is about Tooya who already has girlfriend Yuki, although currently their relationship has some strain because of Yuki's popularity, so Tooya here can try very hard to maintain their relationship or break up and find a new girlfriend. Oh yes the translator chose the new version, which to say is understandable seeing that 1998 version graphic is quite outdated, although it should be noted that new version is the backport from PS3 version so there'll be no translated sex scenes. For current progress, currently it's been at 16.53% translated. For Ars Magna itself, on paper it gameplay has some alchemy, although turned out it's not as in depth as like in Kamidori or Atelier franchise. That said, the story itself is definitely has some alchemy element, especially the aforementioned Mana Khemia. For the premise, we have Shin who live in Archeus that faced the crisis with a mysterious power corrupted the spiritual creatures resulting in the birth of the monsters, and in order to face the crisis Shin entered the Cagliostro Academy that train the alchemists. After some times, Shin find out that his own hidden power might be the key to resolve the crisis. Like in Venus Blood (Same developer), in here we can either had Shin keep going to do his quest to save Archeus or perhaps give in to the temptation to abuse his power, or in easier word law and chaos routes respectively. Go get Soushin no Ars Magna if you've been interested with it, and have fun. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.
  8. Base Son is definitely milking too much Koihime Musou franchise so much that I have hard time to follow the VNs in the franchise (With most of those untranslated to boot). After looking on how Sekai manage to suddenly localize Slobbish Dragon Princess 3 and I'm not surprised with that, it should be obvious that they'll pick Animal Trail 2, so of course the question is 'when it'll be announced' instead of 'will Sekai localize this'. Oh yes, Animal Trail 2 here as expected had the remaining girl become the heroines, and of course the graphic is still good looking. For VN of the Month for March 2023, seeing that there's only five VNs, I would say that both of Koi ni Amae ga Hitsuyosu Desu can be qualified seeing that it's one of the lengthy VN release, although Paranormasight is also good candidate as well for being mystery VN and all (Bonus point for it's been available in English). That's all for what I can write in regard of March 2023 releases.
  9. Welcome to Fuwanovel @Emmyaoi and sorry for the belated greeting. Well good luck with your project there even though BL here is not what I pay attention to, and I hope that you'll have fun in here.
  10. While Da Capo 2 anime might be inferior compared to the source, at least it stay faithful to the original source compared to Shuffle in that the director decided to be a little creative with Kaede personality was changed in the anime, so much that Japanese fanbase was understandably very angry about it. Then again, maybe the director thought that it's a very good idea to change Kaede's personality in order to have more dramatic plot, seeing that the director is might be Asa's big fan while her route in the VN is naturally lack of conflict to fill the remaining episodes quota. Gun x Sword is created by a man who will later create Code Geass, although compared to it Gun x Sword is ended in less controversial way. It should be noted that the plot here is started by the episode 6 end, when Van finally got a lead against his nemesis who've been killed his wife. FF Advent Children is another attempt from Square to make an anime movie, and at least it seems to be more successful compared to their prior movie (Spirit Within). Obviously though, it's the beginning of they milking their most successful FF with them adding more lore and story, culminating in their latest FF7 Remake with they're also overhauled the gameplay. Sugar Sugar Rune is created by Hideaki Anno wife, and obviously the work is not as dark as the creator's husband most famous work (You know which one) even though there are some serious moments. Kamichu is dubbed as Teenage Goddess by Animax, and when I tried to watch it I expect something else only to find out that turned out it's more or less an iyashikei genre with the ditzy female MC become the titular Teenage Goddess. It's also worth to note that the staff going all out by displaying the credit in unique way as shown in the opening video. That's all for what I can comment in regard of Summer 2005 anime here.
  11. Well maybe you can have some translated Pulltop VN (Steam version obviously), although both of Konosora or Miagete would be too long so I'll just recommend Umikana here (And yes you can still pick it even the student who visit you library is not a 12 years old French girl lol). Other than that, maybe Planetarian and eden if they didn't mind sadder story.
  12. Eien no Aselia OVA is obviously very poor attempt to adapt the VN seeing that it only adapt two episodes from a very lengthy VN source. Glass Mask 2005 is the most recent adaptation of Glass Mask, and yes the author still didn't manage to finish her story until 2023 here. Absolute Boy has two MCs, so you obviously would think that it's disjointed if you watch first few episodes and then skip to watch few last episodes later (Based on my experience watched it on Animax with the last few episodes have very different casts of main characters). For Honey and Clover, the opening is certainly very unique although I only glance few episodes of it. For the other two anime (Chronicle of the Wing and Law of Ueki), I'll comment it below. Chronicle of the Wing - Obviously it's CLAMP work, with them tried to made a couple from their most lighthearted work (Cardcaptor Sakura) doing a journey to recover the feather (Which I just remember that it seems Clamp like feather motif). Of course, the journey won't be easy, seeing that there's a lot of people who want the power that the feather granted. For season 1 here, I remember that the last episode is against what CLAMP think, so the anime staff make an episode to retcon it in season 2 as fast as possible. Law of Ueki - The series is about a 100 God Candidates chose a middle high school student to fight in their stead at the battle royale, and the student who win the battle would get the God candidate to be the next God. One of such student is the titular character Ueki who's power seems useless with said power is just to turn trash into tree, although as the series goes on Ueki will find a way to make use of his power efficiently in order to win from his opponents. What I can say is that at least the ending is not as controversial as Shaman King (And that it's very conclusive), and Ueki is popular enough so much that it has sequel. That's all for what I can write in regard of Spring 2005 anime here.
  13. Congratulation on the release, and thanks for the hard work even though the VN here is not my personal pick.
  14. Well certainly it can be a big news, although once again I think the way on how it can manage to have triangle love is caused by a convenient accident (Even though mainly it's because of the human action that such plot can be happened). Personally, I think now that we have WA2 available in English I felt that Kiminozo would be beneath it's shadow, but again I maybe wrong on that. Oh yes as for the KS for all age Reboot version, well good luck for it I suppose. Not that while usually I didn't like to have the VNs censored, I suppose it's quite fair to have the sex scenes being removed, especially with age being very creative with the writing on one of the sex scenes (Which Leaf is not even dare to write that scene). PS - I know I did write that above, but still in the end I hope that some fans may be able to finally play this in English after several years (If not almost two decades) of waiting.
  15. As of now, perhaps the translator may have some real life matter, so of course they didn't have enough time to work on this, especially with the translator also took another project to worked on with. That said, if that person still want to continue with Norakeno, then good for him and of course for the project.
  16. Welcome to Fuwanovel @Blue Lace Agate, and like the above said most of magical girl VNs has some NSFW element so it's kind of hard to find one without it (The closest one would be Sakura Moyu and even then it has some sex scenes). For the info Yuki Yuna also has VNs, but it seems the VN put mpre focus on daily life. Lastly sorry for the belated greeting, and I hope that you'll have fun in here.
  17. FwPC MH - Obviously it's the sequel of FwPC, and also the only two Precure series that manage to get the sequel. I know there's the announcement for both YPC5 and MGPC adult sequel, but it's another matter altogether. Obviously MH tell us more about Nagisa and Honoka now that they're in 9th grade in regard of what they'll doing after graduate from the junior high school, and while in the midst of it they got a new companion Hikari who can transform into Shiny Luminous (Although her ability is more of the support side even with her setting). Of course FwPC also need to deal with the enemies, in that FwPC will fight the group who want to revive the Dark King (The main villain). By the way, this is the last Precure series that was ever broadcasted in Indonesian television. Negima - While the manga ending has fair share of it's problem, the anime elevated it to a new degree thanks to the manga was still unfinished on the time anime was aired (Although maybe the staff decided to follow FMA 2003 example by being creative). Anyway Negima itself is initially just like Love Hina (Same author and all), although the author soon enough introduce a number of the plot element that he meant to write with Negima, namely that the author want to write something like shonen magic battle series only to have the higher up tell the author to make the same genre as Love Hina. Air - Obviously it's very faithful to the VN, although it's shorter than both Kyoani KEY adapted animation. Then again, maybe back then Kyoani was only given 12 episodes slot in order to test the water before being proved that it's quite successful. One thing to worth mention is that Kyoani make the cameo of Kanon's three heroines in one of the episodes, although whether it's to indirectly announced that they worked on Kanon 2006 or just to have it as Easter Egg I don't know. By the way out of all lengthy KEY VNs so far, AIR ending here can be said as the most bittersweet one thanks to a certain drama in the ending. That's all for what I can write in regard of Winter 2005 anime here.
  18. Because we have Nightmare x Onmyouji released by Mangagamer and that in Sengoku Rance we have Onmyouji class, I'd change the word 'Onmyouji' into the fan translation of Sengoku Rance for that class (Diviner), so we have 'Nightmare x Diviner' as the title for this week VNTS Review. For this week, compared to the last one it's kind of plain. That said, there still some interesting updates such as Mangagamer bunch of updates and Yuzusoft released trial for Tenshi Reboot along with it's 4-koma video (I'll explain why it's worth to mention later). Overall I can say that this week is an average one, and let's see what I can write in regard of it. Shiravune had yet another surprise announcement, although unfortunately it's not Tamayura Mirai or Sacrifice Villain exact release date, but instead it's just Kuroinu Redux in which from what I see it's the improved version of Kuroinu that Mangagamer released in the past. Said improvement is done by adding some new contents such as new sex scenes and music mode, so you may pick this if you feel the lack of music mode in Kuroinu bother you. That said, since the improvement is small compared to Utawarerumono 1 remake and that I didn't pick Kuroinu, I'll just say that the release is redundant. If you want to get it later, you may note the release date on May 19th later. Speaking of release, Fakku released My Life as a Cult Leader nukige, with the premise that the MC was randomly picked as the stand-in for sex cult leader, and obviously the MC will enjoy a lot of passionate sex with the cult members which mostly have big breast. Speaking of cult, Nightmare x Onmyoji is also revolving around the cult who willing to rape any girl that meddle with their demon summoning business, and this time the unlucky girls who about to suffer that fate are Yuka (Again) along with Setsuna (The previous Nightmare series MC) who've been kidnapped by the cult with their new companion Kuon (The titular onmyouji) did her best to rescue those two, although obviously Kuon will also suffer a lot of rapes just like Setsuna. If anything else, the graphic is still good so go get the VN if you're interested with it and have fun. For the rest of Mangagamer's updates, we have Eve of December is at 90% translated, Funbag Fantasy 4 is at 41.5% along with 38% edited, Rance 03 is at 39% translated along with 14% edited, and Rance X is at halfway translated along with 4.5% edited (Note that the edited progress is regressed from 5%, and the reason is because the finding of bunch new lines). We also have Luckydog update after long time not seeing on it ever since it was announced, and said update is that the translation for it is almost nearly completed. We also have Raillore is still in scripting with additional note that it's almost ready for the testing (So it might be Mangagamer's next release after Lkyt), and last but not the least we finally have Sona-Nyl entering the scripting. Oh yes we have Mangagamer add their secret project, and currently it's been fully translated and edited. In fan translation section, we have Akagoei FD is at 28.74% edited along with 12.64% in QA, Manakashi is roughly at 66% translated, H2O is at 31.4% edited, Majikoi A-5 is approximately 85% done, Senmomo is at 93.69% edited with side stories is past three quarter (77.92%) edited, and Planetarian Snow Globe is currently in testing and editing work. We also have another nukige from Black Lilith translated, and said nukige is Tsuma Netori with the premise married heroine who is PE teacher in the high school experienced a lot of sexual assaults at school. For the progress, currently it's been at 10% translated. Lastly there's ChuSingura in which currently it's at 20.99% translated with the first chapter was fully translated (For the reminder ChuSingura has five chapters), and that the translator will do some editing works for the next 2 or 3 weeks later before releasing the patch that cover 20.99% of whole ChuSingura. Yuzusoft did release the trial for their newest VN Tenshi Reboot, so you can read the trial if you can read Japanese. Yuzusoft also released 4-koma video for both of main and side heroines, and if you follow their Youtube then you know that the video has English caption with Nekonyan provided it. What I want to say is that it's indicate that Nekonyan will localize Tenshi Reboot in the future, so the question is when we can see the announcement in regard of it. There are some more clue that Tenshi Reboot will be available in English, but the fact that 4-koma video has English caption is enough proof seeing that Cafe Stella 4-koma video also has English caption. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.
  19. In case you still need some more recommendation, then I would recommend Tokyo Necro and Tsujidou (Because you mentioned Majikoi and Tsujidou is resembled Majikoi to a degree). Other than that, you may try Senren Banka and Kunado Kokuki later, although the former is more like usual charage. I don't know if you already played those or not, but regardless I hope that my recommendations will be helpful to you.
  20. Mangagamer released the result for the survey, and it's nice to see that two out of three suggestion from mine are in top 25 (Even though honestly speaking it's not say much). The most notable thing is that there's still WA2 and Fate on top 20, although it's not as prominent like in the past. Other than that, well the result is quite balanced (Between usual VN, BL, and otome).
  21. Black Jack - As you can see, it's about an illegal doctor who is very skilled at the operation in exchange that he'll charge a very exorbitant cost (Although it also work as some sort of Secret Test of Character to see if the patient willingly to go to save the life). Also yeah as you can see, it's indeed an episodic anime in that Black Jack will do operation work at each Patient of the Week (Or rather Days because Animax aired this from Monday to Friday, although they only aired 52 out of 61 episodes though). Other than that, the anime also explain on how Black Jack met Pinako, and also there's a recurring character who based on past Tezuka's work (Wato and Sharaku). Howl Moving Castle - I did watch it once, and it's about an old lady who will be younger at the end of the series. Also interestingly this is Hayao Miyazaki's favorite out of all his work, which prove that the taste can be quite subjective. Bleach - The last of big three of shonen series, and out of all those three it's the only want that wasn't completely adapted (Naruto already has Boruto and One Piece is completed the manga very faithfully even with it's still ongoing). Also if you follow the recent anime news, then you know that currently it's final arc was getting adapted into anime and will be aired at four parts (The first part was already aired in Fall 2022), with each part will have 13 episodes totaling 52 episodes for the whole final arc. What I can say is that while the final arc has some controversy, at least the author didn't lengthen it like One Piece or even worse make a less received sequel like Boruto. Yakitate Ja-Pan - It tell us a story about how Kazuma want to become the best baker ever because he met the experienced baker in the past, and from there he already make many variant of breads that has win rate almost at 99%. While you did say that it's relatively realistic, it's because of the anime didn't adapt the rest of the manga that contain the final arc, with said arc contain the story that can be even more over the top compared to Cooking Master Boy or even Souma because the author decided to put more focus on the reaction. If anything else, at least the author can still write some realistic bread baking compared to Cooking Master Boy or Souma in the final arc. Yu-Gi-Oh GX - Starring Jaden who is inspired by Yugi to enter the school that teach Children Card Game that was established by Kaiba (Because he can). While the premise may want to ask whether it's rational or not, gradually the series will going into darker territory culminating in the fourth season that wasn't dubbed in the west. Alice Academy - The anime didn't adapt the whole manga, which to say is very understandable if we know that it took 90 chapters to get interesting while the anime only adapt around 25 chapters. The anime here is only show us some story such as Mikan entering the Academy because of Hotaru, Mikan slowly getting more friend, and the existence of Anti-Alice group. Obviously there'll be more revealed in the manga, so of course the anime here is quite barebone compared to what the manga had (The anime did imply that there's some dark secrets beneath the Academy, which the manga will show a lot of it). Oh yes when I watch this, I thought that Mikan's mother has the same Alice as Mikan, only for the manga to reveal that it's actually the father's Alice (Of course it's understandable to thought so, considering that the flashback only show Mikan's mother drop Mikan at her current home). Nanoha - Well you won't get the main story if you only watch the first three episodes, because the main rival (And future life partner) will appear in the 4th episode end. Anyway Nanoha here is start as the magical girl series, although in future story it's leaned toward super robot anime which caused by a staff joking on how Nanoha's magical girl outfit is like Gundam. It should also be noted that Nanoha herself is appear as the little sister character is Triangle Heart 3, which is an eroge with her big brother as the MC. Obviously the initial plan is to make Nanoha being the MC as the spin-off to Triangle Heart 3 (Another attempt that I can recall is Fate Ilya), but as time goes on turned out that Nanoha is far more popular compared to the original series, so much that people forgotten the her older brother. That's all for what I can write in regard of Fall 2004 anime here.
  22. Because we have Tokyo Necro release with he VN has a lot of zombie and fighting against it, I figure that I should make a parody of a manga with similar premise, Highschool of the Dead (Which sadly can never be finished because of the author's passing), by changing 'Highschool' into 'Frozen Capital', so we have 'Frozen Capital of the Dead' as the title. For the info, the kanji 'To' in Tokyo Necro Japanese is meant 'ice', which is different for the kanji 'To' that usually used to write Tokyo in Japanese (Said 'To' kanji itself meant 'east'). As for this week, with a bunch of new title and releases, I can say that this is an exciting one, especially with both of Tokyo Necro and Walkure Romanze Mio's patch releases. Let's see what I can write in regard of this week. Cherry Kiss will release another nukige Sex x Hex on 31st later, and I can say that it involving the prince MC will have a lot of sex with the sisters of three with those three are the witches. Speaking of release announcement, Mangagamer also announced that they'll release Lkyt on April 20th later. Sekai did release both of Kanojo no Seiiki and Slobbish Dragon Princess 3, and I suppose I can say that both VNs are quite good graphically wise, especially with the latter in that another VN from the same company (Unless Terminalia) won Best Graphic category in Getchu 2022 awards. For the premise, Kanojo no Seiiki is about the MC who is encounter his tsundere childhood friend through some dramatic event, and for Slobbish Dragon 3 the lazy MC did encounter yet another sexy dragon. Well go get both if you interested with those, and with this now we have Sekai's backlog slightly thinned out. Ninetail had a new surprise license, and said license is Soushin no Ars Magna in that they already had the release date on 31st later. It's interesting to note that Ninetail didn't use their usual partner JAST to help with the localization, but instead they ask a less known publisher to do so. For Soushin Magna itself, from what I see it's about the MC who study alchemy in a world where the man-made Goddess Soushin gone mad and causing chaos. I only know that the gameplay might be not too good according to mod Clephas, so I might need to lower my expectation on this. Other than Ninetail, we also have Shiravune announced that they licensed Kunado Kokuki (Proving that Purple Software indeed very flexible when it come to localization partner) with the exact release date will be on April 7th later. It's also interesting to note that Kunado Kokuki managed to be in Steam, which mean that Purple Software did indeed change a lot of things in order to had it on Steam. For fan translation updates, right now we have ChuSingura is at 19.73% translated, H2O is at 24.2% edited, Senmomo is at 92.56% edited with side stories is at 73.97% edited, 4 out of 56 script files for Bishoujo Mangekyou 4 are translated, Koiyasumi ia at 72.72% translated along with past a quarter (26.39%) edited, and Akagoei FD is at 9.2% in QA. For the aforementioned Walkure Romanze Mio's patch release, it should be obvious that the patch will translate Mio's route along with Common, Celia, and Lisa routes. With Mio's patch release, all that left is to finishing the work on Noel's route in which currently it's at 70% translated/edited, and I'll call Walkure Romanze full translation patch as Noel's patch. That's all for fan translation updates. The biggest release of this week is obviously Tokyo Necro. While it's another Nitroplus VN, of course we shouldn't expect this as another Muramasa, but rather expect it as another Gekkou no Carnevale (Same writer and all) with action that was shown in 3D. For the premise, in 2199 the world has experience another ice age (Thus the reason on why kanji 'To' in Tokyo Necro mean ice) on top still reeling from both the aftermath of the big war and the worst pandemic. To make it worse, there's several people who animate the corpse into zombies, and such people are called Necromancer. Our male MC Sooun and female MC Ethica are belonged in an organization that hunt the Necromancer, and the VN itself was started by their mission to hunt one of those. I should mentioned that Ethica is only like female and she never have sex scene with male, so we can say that Tokyo Necro here is half GL VN lol. Go get Tokyo Necro if you've been waiting for it, and have fun. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.
  23. Samurai 7 - I only glance on it back when it's aired on Animax, and I decided to just gave up on it. Well, at least the opening song is quite memorable to a degree. Elfen Lied - Okay I admit that I know this back when I search the manga with tag 'Ecchi', although obviously it has more than that, especially with disturbing stuff. Also it should be noted that unlike Johann in Monster, Lucy here has a tragic backstory and reasons on why she became like that. Galaxy Angel 4 - It's the most controversial Galaxy Angel anime, no thanks to on how they butchered Chitose character in which it's very contrast to her VN counterpart. Other than Chitose treatment, well it's still the same Galaxy Angel anime in that it didn't adapt the VN trilogy faithfully because of the creative decision. That's all for what I can write in regard of Summer 2004 anime here. PS - Oh yes, I remember Fafner ending song, although it's more like because it was used in Saya no Uta AMV video, which I first thought the opening video only to find out that Saya no Uta actually has no opening song.
  24. Finally we have Tokyo Necro released, so go get it if you've been waiting for this and have fun.
