I've been reading Snow PE and it's actually pretty good and the "old art" is good as well, nothing wrong with Sumino's mother either.

I see that we finally have another retro VN translated. It also should be noted that while the VN is following the story from KEY VNs at that time (Kanon and Air), the company here is the predecessor of Yuzusoft with both of the artist and the composer is the main staff for Yuzusoft VNs. The company itself also has some nukige VNs in the past, although then again it's nothing special seeing that our Jun Maeda was also involved in Moon (Which has some twisted contents) before forming KEY. As for the opening, well it's quite long indeed although at least I can say it's quite nice to hear (Whether it's better to Kanon OP or not is another matter). Anyway as long as you can get past the old art (Especially Sumino's mother one which to say is not good looking), I think it should be nice VN to read. PS - Forgot to say this beforehand, so I'll say congratulation to the team in regard of the release of Snow full translation patch here.

Somewhere in April I started Akane Iro ni Somaru Saka, but just after the prologue I got distracted/interrupted by moving to a new flat, and haven't been able to resume it yet. Meanwhile, the "Loopers Book Club" formed on wanikani forums, so I jumped on and started reading Loopers today. I just completed the prologue, and so far I'm liking what I'm seeing I'm playing JP version from DLSite, but there's bi-lingual Switch version released, and Steam port in works, so it's possible to play this VN in English too.

Honestly... All those games will run on a potato, anything with 3050ti should be able to max them out. On the other hand, if you're actually aiming for a 14 inch model, you're going to pay a pretty high premium for potability. Same goes for OLED screen... Especially with anime-style games, which probably won't benefit that much from the better contrast/deeper blacks. And to be honest, I only see OLED laptops with glossy coatings, even when they do not have touchscreens. That sounds awful for a gaming machine, but maybe I'm missing something? I surely wouldn't pay a premium for a non-matte screen, but also I never even considered an OLED monitor or laptop before.

I played the game years ago and if you like to be tortured or rape retarded girls I would recommend it
